Excellent service from beginning to end. Moving out a property is always stressful but the efficiency and friendliness of the staff made it as good as it could have been. They asked questions when they needed to, got on with the job with speed and good humour and left me to enjoy a final day in my garden.

This was great service from start to finish. It's what all service businesses should be aiming for. From the initial quote to the signing of the finish paperwork on moving day the support and friendliness of the admin, logistics, and the removal professionals - everything worked as you would expect.

Of course there were bumps along the way mostly caused by us changing dates etc.

We had full packing service which was very professionally done - no breakages! The only minor criticism was that there were not enough packers which made things a little rushed on moving the next day. That was no reflection on the guys who did the packing more about management organising.

But they got the job done, arrive on time moving day, cleared the house, drove 25 miles away and unloaded and gone by 6 p.m.

The team on the day were professional and so hard working on one of the hottest days of the year. Not a single grumble from anyone and the kept smiling and professional throughout.

If you are moving and you can use this company then do so with confidence.

This was a short notice request and Better Removals were able to assist - the guys are so professional light hearted and nothing was too trouble - they did with a smile - both those that packed to storage and those that delivered from storage - even with a slight hiccup operations assured me, compensated me and no arguments fixed the issue - this removal company I highly recommend

This is the second time we have used Better Removals. Their service is excellent as are their back office staff and the guys that do the heavy lifting. Special thanks to Martin and Carl who collected our possessions from storage in Herts, drove to Devon and still had a sense of humour after unpacking everything 👏

I contacted Better Removals for a quote, very quick to respond and arrange the visit I was told that I could have a visit anytime during W/C 12th June.
I requested Tuesday 13th June - Geraldine responded by saying Tuesday 14th June at 09:30 approx.
Geraldine got the day wrong - 14th is Wednesday - she came back with a one liner "Sorry Wednesday 14th".
So I waited for Mike to turn up this morning at the predetermined time and no show.
I would not use this company to move me as they cannot get the day/date to marry up and when giving me the alternative date she didn't specify a time.
I asked Geraldine to cancel the visit and she responded very quickly and stated
Hi Steve,
I am so sorry when I rearranged your appointment from Tuesday I didn’t put on the new entry about the set time for 9.30. Mike was making his way to you for 11.30 Do you still want him to come or shall I rearrange for another day.

From beginning to end this company were amazing!

On the day the team were professionals and not one breakage!

As all moves they can be stressful but the team had us laughing all day which was great!!

A terrific team. They stood out from the start through an in-person survey that was thorough and helpful, and an excellent leaflet (including moving tips), plus membership of BAR/AIM/MoveAssured. Our move was not a long distance but involved a significant volume of heavy contents (books no doubt being the curse of the removals firm), and a relatively tight delivery location. Better Removals provided a packing/moving service over two days via a lorry plus a large van. The office team coped with a very short period between exchange and completion. The team were efficient, skilled, and good-humoured throughout.

This was a big 3-day move with a 500 mile round trip for the guys and they were excellent!

First day packing. Everything boxed up and labelled accurately which was a real bonus when we got to the other end. They had a couple of large fragile items to do and these were packaged very carefully.
Second day, move day. Arrived early and had the lorry loaded up ahead of schedule. They then traveled to our new destination 250 miles away.
Third day. unloaded the lorry (and it was a big lorry!) and placed everything where it was intended to go. Beds rebuilt and the largest fragile item unpacked and positioned.

No breakages or damage to anything. The packing at the start had been done carefully and with thought.

Overall, a great team who worked very hard and efficiently. Thank you!!

Found Better Removals great from start to finish. We amended our requirements after changing location and nothing was too much trouble, great customer service.
Removal guys were efficient, careful with our belongings and helpful.
Dismantled & reassembled beds which was great.
Nothing damaged, would definitely recommend using them.

Fantastic. They did a complete pack and move, and did everything carefully and quickly. All boxes delivered to the right rooms and labelled with the approx. contents. Nothing broken or lost!

The team could not have made a house move smoother. The full packing service was worth every penny, removing all the stress by packing more or less everything the day before, and finishing off the remaining essentials on move day, as well as dismantling and reassembling all furniture items as part of the service. Everything was well boxed (kitchen and fragile items very carefully wrapped to ensure no breakages) and marked clearly, and put in the right rooms the other end. Fantastic, professional and efficient. A great service and experience, good communications throughout, and I could not recommend them highly enough.

The team of 5 were super happy, helpful and hard working, despite the pouring rain. There didn't damage anything and protected our floors carefully. Great value for money and very helpful and flexible during the difficult period when the moving date kept having to change.

The Removers were excellent from start to finish and helped to alleviate the stress of moving.
They had a really 'can do' attitude to any challenges that arose and remained calm and considerate throughout.
The move was organised over 3 days with smaller vans in order to make access either end of the move easier.

Excellent service, very friendly staff answering numerous questions and different options to us. Not a problem when we had to cancel at 24 hours notice (do take out the insurance or this could be a very costly error) Alfie, Ky and Ben were considerate and efficient and kept us entertained whilst they packed up mums home of 40 + years and transported it elsewhere. I would highly recommend this professional service.

Amazing service from start to finish! The team worked quickly but carefully, both when packing and when delivering everything to my new house. They were super helpful, even helping me with things like levelling up kitchen white goods that were already in the property - above and beyond the call of duty! I would definitely recommend.
