Used this company previously and usually very happy with service, but struggled with the payment stage of the process. It would not take my visa card, so had to use Mastercard. Lucky I had 2nd card option as many don't.

I submitted a claim at 1am in the morning and it was settled within 12 hours, no questions, no quibble. It doesn't get much better than this as far as I'm concerned....

Easy, almost one-click solution to a problem of extortionate rip-offs
Car rental companies charge such extortionate rates for waiving excess that it is hardly surprising that an outsider can pick up business. All it needs is clarity about the amount covered and the premium, and Better Safe provide that. Fortunately, I have never had occasion to submit a claim, so I cannot comment on that.
