We bought the deluxe ticket which was perfect for our city break to Budapest. The route was fantastic taking you close to all of the major sights of Budapest. We particularly enjoyed the shuttle bus tour up to the castle especially the stop at Fisherman's Bastion. The best part of the package was the night tour during which we saw the most beautiful sights lit up at night. You do need to get there extremely early for this tour as it is first come first served and very busy. They recommend getting there 15 minutes early but many people were there much earlier than this. The boat tour was also great and fantastic for seeing the Parliament building.
The drivers were lovely and travelling on the bus over several days, all of the drivers were friendly and helpful.

It was a good way to see the sights and had drop off point's where we wanted to go.
The commentary could have been better in some places though.

The Castle tour was very problematic. The little bus just passed by the stop we were waiting at. We had to go to another busstop and there it took the driver more than half an hour to check everybody's paperwork. And finally we had to get off the bus at another stop than the intended one. Conclusion : we lost a tremendous amount of time and weren't able to visit all the sites in Buda we (carefully) planned to visit. Worst experience ever with a hop-on/hop-off...
On the other hand I would give good points for the regular and the night tour.

It was great, really nice experience, though it was raining all day but the crew was fantastic as they gave us raincoats so we could enjoy our sightseeing in a flawless way. The only area of improvement is the headset, unfortunately not all languages on the list could be heard - we wanted to listent to the Hungarian version but it didnt work. Then we decided to take another ride and tried the Hungarian audioguide again and in that bus it worked so eventually we saw more and felt good. Cheers!

Excellent service, friendly and informative "ground staff" and drivers. Good routes around Budapest.

Loved the service of the buses lots of bus stops to get around the city, only one downfall the bus stops were not all clearly marked up where to get on other than that great

Always good value, dead easy using on-line app.

Great way to spend first morning just riding round to see what parts of city you want to see as tourist and where they are in relation to your place of stay. We then used it as our transport around city over three days, with careful juggling of it being only one way direction, you can use it to get across city where route crosses over, although drivers seemed a bit confused at times when showing mobile screen "ticket" to them.

Wasn't until day later when an inspector was on the bus she said you needed to get a printed ticket off the bar-code on your mobile phone.
She had equipment to do this and also just took a phone picture of the picture on my phone!!!!
As we had already used first day of ticket by time she issued a two day ticket effective from her print off version we actually got three days worth of travel for price of two.

Beware you can wait ages after 4.30 as they get stuck in rush hour traffic. Boat trip included on 2+day ticket is worth it but not very long, however you can sit down with a beer or wine and relax, doing it at dusk in March actually got us seeing all the lit up banks of Danube so no need to do night boat tour.

One of the best way to explore Budapest. The city is pretty huge and walking wasn't an option for us because we were there during one of the worst winter we've ever had. The buses are not as frequent on winter times, but with the help of their app you can arrange your trip pretty nicely.
Also the audio guides are helpful.

The Tour Ended at a place I didn’t knew . 15.3.18 has been holiday in Budapest . Nobody informed me that the tour would end earlier . So I had to take a taxi to get home .

Very pleased we chose to use Big Bus. The buses were clean and the commentary was very clear and informative. We also enjoyed the river cruise. Only negative was we had a long wait at times for a bus to come along. Would recommend.

Loved using the hop on, hop off buses. Got to see almost all of what Budapest had to offer. Trip to the Citadel cost extra on the little tuk tuk bus and they only run once an hour (whilst other operators came and went). Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would use again.

Excellent service that we were all really happy with. Regular buses & using the app was great as you could see where they all were. Would use anywhere around the world in future.

There was very little interesting information on this bus tour. More annoying music than anything. Bus drivers barely checked tickets and couldn't care less. Only thing that was useful was the app so you could figure out where the stops were and how far away busses were.

Hmmmm very good service to visit Budapest.

We are a little bit disappoint cause we waited about one hour at 12 bus stop number.
The negative review could be worste just because it was snowing and very cold.
We were with our 2 years old baby and we had to be outside to see the bus coming.
This hasnt been good at all as they say that the buses are coming in 15/20 mins.
A part of this episode, everything was good but 18 euros is too much for the service we had.
