I enjoyed the day tour but the night tour was was not worth the money specially since at the end of the tour the driver came up to the top deck and yelled at us to get off of the bus. This made me quite upset as it was in the middle of nowhere, after dark. That’s right, the night bus does not bring you back to the pickup point. Nor do they let you know ahead of the trip. Luckily for me, I met some folks that knew where the ferry was so I was able to get back to Hong Kong island with no problem.
So easy and simple
So easy and simple. Downloaded the app on my phone, found out exactly where I wanted to go and what I want to see. It was so simple to buy tickets on line on my phone pick the tickets up and jump on the bus. I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Hong Kong. Simple and quite interesting. Pick up your earphones plugged them in and listen to the interesting commentary of what’s going by out the window. It was simple fun and would do it again. Thank you very much big bus.

Visiting Hong Kong for only a couple of days the tours were a great way to acquaint ourselves with this lovely city.
Great Tour Great Price!
Great tour, do this first rather than trying to do the things on your own. There packages include a great deal of tickets for a low price.

The bus is on time and it comes with some complimentary tickets i.e. Star Ferry, The peak or observatory deck...
Love the priority queue for the Peak as I can skip the long queue. A small suggestion is to put a queue line with label so Big Bus Tour Ticket holder will know which line to queue (instead queuing the general ticket line).
Driver was rude and barely spoke English
Driver was rude and barely spoke English. We asked a question regarding the next location but was only answered by a grunt and hand gesture to quickly move inside. We were a couple carrying a 4-month old baby and we wanted to sit at the upper deck but as soon as we boarded, the driver immediately sped off, leaving us little time to barely hold on to the handle bars and wait until we reached the next stop to go up the stairs. Also, there were signs everywhere that says people were not supposed to stand while on-board, yet a lot of the passengers were standing at the lower deck. Overall, a convenient way to sight-see but we won't take Big Bus in Hong Kong again.
Staff attitude poor
The tours are fine and very interesting, the problem was the attitude of the staff at the Peak Tram. We are a family of 4, our smallest just 4 years old and therefore according to big bus policy free. But there are benefits such as the Peak Tram ride or the ferry that need extra tickets which we just got for 3 people. My claim that we need 4 tickets was denied, because we just paid for 3 big bus tickets?! So we ended up buying extra tickets for our small one, because contrary to what is promised, you only get tickets for paid travellers. Do as a matter of fact children under 5 are not free but rather pseudo free...

The staff on the footpaths were very helpful. I did a couple of tours which were very good.
But I did a tour to the south of the island on 5/1/18 and the bus stopped halfway and the bus driver got off. We sat there with no explanation for 40 minutes until another bus arrived then we were crammed onto that one - standing room only. It is very important to communicate to the passengers what is happening in this kind of situation.
Great way to get a feel of the city.

We waited 60 mins for a bus at the correct bus stop (they are supposed to be every 30 mins) which eventually turned up without stopping. We gave up and walked to another stop. We did manage to catch a bus in the end but it ruined the experience because we waited so long for the first one.
Fantastic experience

Excellent at showing Hong Kong and it’s fascinating districts to first time visitors.
Great way for a family of 13 to tour
This was a terrific way for our extended family of 13 to explore the city together for the first time over the holidays. We were able to see the far-flung beaches, the Peak, Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, all in about 24 hours with all transportation and tickets to Peak included. It's something that would have been nearly impossible using public transit. The audio transcript was somewhat helpful, although we were always left wishing for more. The Sampan ride, to me at least, was a throwaway. Others in our group thought it was interesting. It was a little confusing how to enter the bus the first day with just our QR code printed from buying online, but we managed to find the very helpful Joy near the info center in Kowloon, and she printed us all of our physical tickets and got us going in the right direction. Overall a great experience.

Interesting tour
Interesting tour. It was a good quick way to understand the city
We throughly enjoyed our trip
We throughly enjoyed our trip. Such a great over view of the city. It’s impossible to do all the routes in one day so would recommend two days if time permits. We did the green and red route. Also the peak tram, Sampan ride etc great addition to the tour. Highly recommend it.
Not so good service.
Not so good service.. It was nice to go with the bus on the Hong Kong Island but it was worthless on Kowloon.. I would rather take the public transportation. If you go with big bus- Take only one day- then you go first in line to victoria peak.
