I have used this service in other cities and will do so again in future. The standards of service are good in Istanbul and everywhere else.

The Bus Tour gives you a good first view of the City, without that Trouble searching for parking lots. It is a hop on-hop off trip, and has two routes on offer. Unfortuanately the Stop-Signs weren't clear on the map you get or big enough to find on streets, so we had to walk always a bit and ask to find the right Bus-Stop. You get the informations on board about the City in different languages, which is quite nice. Unfortuanateley sometimes the informations stop in the middle of a sentence and start again from begin. It would be also nice, if the Bus-Driver are able to understand english or somebody of the Big-Bus-Team is also onboard to translate in english.

I have taken the blue route of the tour, the bus stopped at the dolphinatrium which is a nice but expensive place, after we finished we waited again at the same stop location, and the next bus came but didn't stop at this stop, although he saw that we are waiting for him,

and because the place is very far, the taxis refused to take us back to the hotel, we ended up using uber service, but very frustrated with bigbustours, we wish if we could take our money back !!!

We booked online from South Africa and it was a good choice! On arrival, however, we noticed that the price on the day was cheaper.

I experienced very friendly staff all over the city, clearly visible and always ready to assist.

I will definitely recommend Big Bus Tours Istanbul!

Actually, we did not do much of hopping on and off, but it was great to circulate through the route and have a good introduction to Istanbul.

Most evident improvement: same route also in the other direction. This may be difficult to realize, and cause an uneven distribution of passengers.

Since Istanbul traffic is very complicated, especially along the central parts of Red and Blue Lines of Big Bus tours - at moments the traffic was halted, at other times merely inching along - I would propose at those moments to include some more information about Turkey's history, culture and social activities (education, health care service, etc.), and maybe about religion holy days (why not?). As a result of such high-density traffic it would be better to exclude the Asia part of Blue Line. Perhaps there are more interesting places to see but it is really impossible.
Nevertheless, I recommend this company and both Lines' tours to anyone. This will be enormous adventure and have to be seen! Even the traffic... or despite it.

Would recommend this service in Istanbul, the staff were very polite and helpful and covered most of the area. The time between each bus was reasonable so didn't have to wait too long for the next bus to arrive.

The bus is good. Maybe having more facts and not as much music in between places would be nice. Traffic in Istanbul is really bad, making yhe bus tour sometimes too long

We prefer staying inside as it was very hot that day. Their aircon is really really bad. It feels like a heater inside the bus. We could not catch a bus on the opposite direction as there are no signs to where we can catch a bus even on the map provided. No water provided unlike the ones in Dubai.

Took the tour from the port on 2nd September. We had to change buses in the square. It was a very hot day and the tour took 3 hours instead of 2 hours due to volume of traffic.We noticed that some of the buses had canopy's on the top deck to shade the passengers, but there was not one on ours. Although we started the tour at 9am, by11am it had become very hot & by midday scorching.
The commentary was useless. My friend's was very loud and would not turn down, mine did not work at all so we had no idea which buildings were which
Obviously traffic volumes cannot be helped, but we do feel that the other issues should could have been avoided with proper maintenance and attention. Altogether a very disappointing experience.

This tour was amazing, but the headphone connections on the bus need to be maintained. Many times the audio would cut out or you would have to jiggle the plug to hear anything at all.

Having a big bus tour is always fun. In Istanbul it covers most of the tourist attractions. We enjoyed it also because the weather on that day turned out to be lovely. In a hot summer day of August, it was pleasant to have clouds and cold breeze with mild rain shower as well.

Friendly staff, brilliant service and the bus ride over the bridge linking Europe and Asia was a real highlight.

In future, I'll always check put if there's a Big Bus in any city I visit!

We took the bus at Taksim, and the tour is so nice that you only should like to complete it, without going out anywhere. Was fine and nice!

I loved the opportunity to see many things in a short period of time. I was only in Istanbul for 24 hrs so this allowed me to catch many sites. The bus was clean and accessible. My only wish is that it ran later into the evening. I would recommend the "Big Bus Tour"

This excursion is great for everyone who wants to see a lot in a short time. There two tours (red and blue) which totally take 3,5 hours. We bought the tickets over the internet and it was no problem to exchange the voucher directly at the bus.

Would reccomend to anyone visiting Istanbul! In fact, it is the best way to get to know the city!!
