Poor customer service, and water and soft drinks on board are sold at extremely expensive prices in US Dollars, around 14 times the consumer prices. I gave it 2 stars just for the tour. The bad cust... See more

Worth doing but some problems
Taking the Big B Bus allowed us to get to a number of sites around the city which was great. The commentary on the bus was interesting and the staff helpful. Unfortunately the map did not show the stops accurately which caused us some difficulty catching the bus at the start. The commentary was not working in all the seats.
Bus timings and quality should be improved
I was waiting for so long time upto 30-40min for the big bus at a particular stop. The frequency of Big buses should be improved. I have been in big bus in many countries and so far this was the worst experience.

Have more buses
We boarded the bus from near the Taksim Square , we had bought the ticket for two days , the second day we had to wait for over one and a half hours in the Sun , due to the Rush . You should have more busses and frequency shoul be every 10 min , also could not get down at any other place than Hazia Sophia , as could see the bus was always full and was scared might not get into another one because of the same reason
Red & Blue Bus Tours 27/28 Sept 2015
Really excellent Tours. Red tour highlight is crossing the bridge to Asian side of Istanbul. Blue tour is interesting to see some of the real working suburbs of Istanbul. Buses clean, everything worked well and staff very helpful and friendly. Great value for money.
Worth it!
It is worth it as you can see a lot within a couple of hours.
I would do this again!
It is inexpensive. The buses come often and are comfortable. The tour map is of things we wanted to see during out trip so it made sense. I would recommend doing this.
We weren't sure we needed to get the 48 hour pass, which is just a small cost in addition to the 24 hour. I am glad we did as we needed the 2 full days.
Money well spent
Excellent tours - we did both routes. Of course we had our preferences but on the whole it was two days well spent. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone in istanbul for a short stay.
Just OK Routes at a Reasonable Price
The red line takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete, and the blue line about 1.0 to 1.5 hours, depending on the traffic. The number of stops for both lines seem to be quite a few less than most on-off bus routes in other major cities. Istanbul being the world's 5th largest city and with its historical background, one would expect there would be quite a few more stops for tourist to stop and hop back on. For example, neither routes stop at the Grand Bazaar or the Topkapi Palace, or any more stops in the Asian side.
Quite disappointed.
Good Service
We went to istanbul last sept before EID holidays to spent vacation with my family. BigBus Istanbul is a good way of getting to know the historical, good places in the area. All staffs are professional and respectful. I recommend this to other fellow travellers.
Is a "must" when you go to Istanbul
Very nice experience, nice way to understand better Istanbul and to feel that you really visit this city!!
Marvellous. ..
The bus was quiet comfortable and covers most of the places ..... Best if you have a short stay and want to see istanbul. ...
very informative, Helpful & useful
Tour itself cover most of nice places in Istanbul.
Staff are nice & helpful.
Very pleased with experience
Everything was as we hoped. The buses were easy to find, had plenty of room and good audio commentary.
BIG BUS TOUR ISs
I would definitely reccommend..stop at all the important sight seeing places, and wifi on board was a plus.
Convenient but bus left early
I booked for the 48 hrs pass. On the 2nd day, one of the bus left early by 3 minutes. My family reach the bus stop when the bus is just starting to move off in Sultanahmet. The driver refused to let us board and moved off even though we are actually a few minutes early. Otherwise, it is a convenient way to see Istanbul.
Excellent service.
Helpful staff.
Big Bus is a very good option in Istambul. We bought the 48 hs. tour and it was a good decision. The first day we did both tours Blue and Red. The second and third day we used the bus instead of the tram. As the ticket lasts 48 hs. since you start your first trip, you may use it in a third day (in the morning).
very nice and easy
I love sightseeing using hop on hop off bus.the only problem in Istambul is terrible traffic which makes some mess with the schedule:(((apart from that-nice drivers, nice views and possibility to see the most important attractions
Big Bustours Istanbul
Not a very good experience. The buses schedule do not work with the heavy traffic in Istanbul. Will not recommend it. Got about 40% of the value of what I suppose to get.
