Not a good tour!
We were excited about this bus tour. The website mentioned they’d drop us off to go venture an area but they didn’t provide that service. I was highly disappointed! They should renew their website! What a waste of money!
Waiting over 90 mins for the bus is not…
Waiting over 90 mins for the bus is not a good use of time in Vegas. I asked for a refund and they refused so had to wait for the ride. Stay away.
Las Vegas Local/Bad Experience
I'm a Las Vegas local and was excited to try this bus tour. I don't enjoy driving on the strip and dealing with parking and walking. A "hop on, hop off" bus seemed the perfect thing to get around. However, the hop on, hop off designation implies that you can get off at a stop, do what you want at or near the stop, and then "hop" back on the bus to go to the next place. That isn't what happened. After we got off and did our thing at one of the stops, we went back to the drop off site to "hop" back on. But we didn't know when the bus was coming back. The app, which is supposed to tell you, said "no live times." So we waited. And waited. And waited. Almost an hour. And there were no seats near the drop off to sit on. Were we supposed to stand all that time in the 90º sun? When the bus finally came, we were told the driver was going on break and it would be another 40 minutes before the tour would continue. We were very upset but decided to wait so we could continue the tour, get our money's worth and get back to our original spot where we parked. When the bus finally came, we went up top and it was hot! The traffic was horrendous so we were stuck at lights for a long time. The tour guide was horrible! He mumbled and was difficult to hear and the focus of his information was on places to eat. It felt like a commercial rather than a tour. We ended up getting off at the next stop and walking the long distance back to our car rather than finishing the tour. To say the bus and guides were disappointing is putting it mildly. I wasted $55 and a day getting very little accomplished that I had planned. But I live here so I can try something else and go back another day. Tourists who are here for a short time don't have that luxury. If I'd been a tourist, I would have been so much more angry. This company is a big rip off. The app doesn't work, there are no times given for when buses will return, there are many fewer buses than there should be for this kind of operation (I think there are 2 total). One shouldn't have to wait longer than 15 minutes to get back on a bus to go to a different spot. The guide was awful at his job and the recorded tour information was uninteresting and uninformative. Stay far away from this company.
Great first time in Las Vegas!
My daughter and I decided to take the tour during the day. We enjoyed learning about the history of different establishments. Tour was very enjoyable. Loved the tour guide Lindsay, very personable and full of knowledge. The driver ( Tiana) was very helpful with questions that we had about drop off and pick up stops. Both were very pleasant. Will certainly take the tour again when we are in Las Vegas....hopefully we will be lucky again to get Lindsay and Tiana again!!!!!
Is zero stars a possibility?
I've taken these tours in many cities. This one is the worst. All the guide talked about were things we could see with our own eyes. No history. No little known facts although he did talk on and on about where Tupac was killed.
I would not recommend this.

I took 3 days pass for 4 people (me, my wife and 2 kids) for around $320 thought of going night tour and day tour for Hop on Hop off, we took night tour because of the experience we didn't go again to that bus again since the way (Oscar P) behaved we didn't go again. The person (Oscar P) who was onboarding people was rude, not customer friendly, we were waiting for more than an hour for the bus, he was literally pushing us to get some seat at the end of the bus. There was not much crowded, we were at the end of the first bus, it was my 4 year son's birthday, he could not see anything so I requested him to get the next bus in the front, but he told this is the only bus either go in this one or move away. It not about what he said it's more the way he told that We never see such a rude person in my life in person. His name is OSCAR P.

Used services 14th- 17th July
We bought tickets for the night tour, the day hop on hop off, the west rim Grand Canyon trip and the High Roller.
The night tour was good, it was lovely to see all the lights, however the commentary was terrible, hardly anything interesting was said it was literally jibber-jabber and the speaker wasn't very clear either so all in all I'd have preferred to turn that off and have no sound and just enjoy the lights. We were then taken to the Golden Nugget and left for an hour. What a horrible place, very rough full of loud drunk people. When we got back on the bus there was a lady who said that she had seen a street full of lights and showed us some pictures, it looked amazing. She only knew about it because somebody had previously told her, what a pity the tour guide didn't tell us to go there.
The high roller was very good, although you still have to take your ticket that you get from big bus and swap it for a proper ticket from the high roller office, so you still have to queue and in fact the price we paid big bus was more expensive than what we could have got it on site.
The trip to the Grand Canyon would have been good except the temperature was in the 40s and the bus simply didn't have efficient aircon. The driver did his best by buying ice and bottles of water. He tried to do a commentary however he was up against some very ignorant people who were speaking Spanish very loudly every single time he spoke. He kept asking please can I just have some time to explain and they just would not shut up. He was clearly getting very angry and I don't blame him but it didn't make for a joyful trip. It was so hot in the bus as to be unbearable. At the west rim, the buses are meant to go in a loop to pick you all up and take you on to the next little bit, we had a bus turn up who then just drove off and everybody was left in 42° heat with no shelter for 45 minutes, People were really struggling to cope with it, that wasn't Big Bus Tour's fault, but none of us were helped by getting back on the really hot bus that just got hotter on the journey home.
The 3 day hop on hop off bus ticket was a total waste of money. I downloaded the app as instructed, but it didn't work to show where my nearest bus stop was in relation to where I was standing at any given point. It turns out that they are at least 40 minutes apart, which is too much to wait in the heat, there's no chairs and no shelter from the sun. I did ask one of the gentlemen who issued me the high roller ticket about a refund for the hop-on hop-off because I explained that we couldn't use it, he suggested I get in touch with head office. I have tried to do this however every link you follow none of them work it's impossible to get to speak to somebody.
Overall, not a terrible service but not great either, I would wait till you get there and buy tickets as and when you need them, so that you're not tied in to a set day, You're supposed to get a discount by buying online, but when you get there it really isn't any more expensive.

We recently took a bus tour on June 19
We recently took a bus tour on June 19. The tour guide Bruce was so rude, because most people in our group didn't speak English. He was so impatient with us, even being sarcastic, using the fact we are Chinese and Canadian and making jokes. Not professional at all. The last thing he did was so outrageous was that he didn't wait for us to get back on the bus when we took 15 min washroom break.

Hot but fun
I took the Red Route tour. Enjoyed the Strip / Downtown. Great fast way to catch the sites. I'll try the Green tour tomorrow (night tour). I like the fact you get to sit & be driven to the attractions, get on & off when & where you want to. That's hw it should be.

I love big bus tours
I love big bus tours. it is a great way to travel around the city and get a good sense of what to see, the history and interesting information about Las Vegas. Had a very entertaining trip with one of the guides and a trainer. Spend the whole trip laughing. It was great fun!
Great tour guide
Great tour guide, informative and funny. Saw everything and had all questions answered. Our plan is always to ride the big Bus, see what interests us and then go back the next day and spend our time at those sites. It works for us.

It took a little long to get to my pick up spot. Other than that it was great!!!!
Great way to see the Las Vegas Strip!
Took the night tour bus and sat up top for our first night and first time in Vegas. Loved being high up over the strip amidst the crowds, lights and action. Would definitely recommend as a great intro to see the strip. We were dropped off at Fremont Street for over an hour, plenty of time to see the light show, street performers and buy some souvenirs. My only complaint would be that we couldn't hear most of what the tour guide was saying en route. Not sure if she was speaking loud enough or there was an issue with the microphone. There were also a lot of pauses. Vegas has so much history as well as current growth, seems it should be easy enough to talk about the town non stop for two hours.
Trisha was a fantastic guide
Trisha was a fantastic guide. Bruce was half drunk.
Great for Newbies
The Big Bus tour is a great way to explore and about Las Vegas’s attractions especially if it’s your first time there. I would highly recommend it for people new to Las Vegas.
