Waste of money!

We got a two day Premium tour, that comes with the boat tour. I am a Miami resident, but thought that the Hop on and off with the double (open) deck would be a great (and safe) way of showing the city to my family that was visiting. I do understand that we took the tour on a super busy week (between Christmas and New Year) but boy, what a huge disappointment and annoyance it was. First, we arrived at Bayside to start the tour almost one hour prior to the 10am starting time of the tours. It was already packed (not the company's fault) but to make things worse, there was no direct information or visual aid to help us find what was going on. We had no idea that we needed to redeem the tickets prior to boarding the bus (which makes no sense because we already had our QR codes), and after talking to 3 different people in 3 different lines, someone finally SCREAMED at us that we could do it in the bus line and that we had to run before we missed the bus. We (literally) ran to the bus, the driver printed out our tickets that contained the bus QR code and, on the bottom, the boat tour ticket. We did two full circuits with the bus and by the time we tried to board the bus in Miami Beach, to get back to Bayside, we had people invading the bus and passing in front of us. The poor bus driver was terrified, and there was no other team member onboard to help her (the busses in the morning had the driver and another helper on it). We had to make a huge scene so a family that was waiting for over two hours (with 3 busses going by and not allowing them to go in, because there was no seats available) could board. Little we knew that that was the last bus of the day and we wouldn't be able to make it back if we had missed that bus. After all that, we came back the next day and tried twice to board the bus, but the lines were impossible, and the screaming crew was extremely rude and incoherent about the waiting timing for the next busses. They tell you that the next one is 30 min away, just for another crew member scream to the line that there will be no other buss for another hour. So we gave up on taking the bus on our second day (for which we paid for) and went to the boat line. We saw the lines before and knew it would be crazy, so we got there 1 hour before the next departure time. After waiting in line, before we were about to get in, we learned that we actually needed to redeem the ticket, AGAIN, at the boat company boot. No one, at any time, told us that, and there is no place where this information is available. But wait, not only we needed to redeem the tickets, we had to SCHEDULE the tour. And the only available times were at night, so we were stuck for another 4 hours at Bayside waiting for the boat tour, not being able to take the bus because they were late and no one was giving us any info about their schedule. The biggest problem, besides the lack of information available anywhere, is how the crew treat the clients. I was never, ever, screamed at like that, by anyone, much less a service provider. I've done these tours (double deck hop on and off bus) more than 10 times across USA and other countries, and never saw anything like it. I could forgive the delays and lines, because they can't control that, but the miscommunication, the lack of information available ANYWHERE, and the rudeness of the crew are unforgivable. Money wasted.
PS: the bus tour is nothing special, but the boat tour is really beautiful, and going at night actually gave us the chance to see the city's skyline in a very beautiful way. The use of masks were not reinforced anywhere, in the bus or boat, so if you want to be safe, you better avoid it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY (SCAM)

we purchased the premium tickets (two of them) which was $110. the website is very misleading, it says that the bus tour is hop on and hop off. when we redeemed our tickets they never told us that they weren’t doing hop on and hop off due to covid-19. also, there was no social distancing on the bus and only about half of the passengers were wearing masks, even though they are required. the next day we went to the island queen to redeem our tickets for the millionaire boat cruise only to be told that they were already redeemed (not sure how because we never did the boat cruise) so our only options were to purchase tickets again or to request a refund. the whole experience was very disorganized and the staff was unhelpful. there were no directions or addresses which made it hard to find where to get picked up and when we called they either didn’t answer or they hung up the phone before answering any questions. maybe if this company would be more honest and informative incidents like this could be prevented. sad to say we wasted over $110 on a bad experience. i would not suggest booking anything thorough this company. i saw bad reviews on here and figured i’d give it a try still but i was wrong! save your money!!!

Worst ride every

Worst ride ever, if you got off the bus no guarantee you could get back on. Saw to many people denied access because bus was to full some complaints were they were waiting up to 2 hours. Didn’t want to miss our flight. All the driver wanted was a tip, my tip never use this tour bus. Management never responded back the must not care about quality over profit. We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise is were we bought the excursion tickets no response from them either they didn’t want to get involved.

Big Waste of Money

This had to be one of the worst tours we have ever taken. We were returning from a cruise and since our flight was at 3:20pm thought we had plenty of time for a tour. We had to wait for everyone to get on the 1st bus at the port for an hour before we finally took off for the Bayside Marketplace to catch the open top bus that takes you to the south beach area. Had to wait in a line and got on the 2nd bus that came along. Got one of the last seats on top but, the tour guide was awful. Didnt even give us the ear buds so we could hear the narration, had to ask for some since we couldn't hear. The guide was obviously drunk or high. The info he gave was hardly understandable. We would not have had time to get off at any of the stops and get back to take the shuttle to the airport. Good thing we didnt, we hardly got back in time as it was. There was a train stopped for 45 minutes & there was no way to get around it. When we got back I couldn't find my suitcase and just in time we found out it was on another bus. Barely got on the shuttle in time, very stressful. This was so unorganized and I will never ever go on one of these again.

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY

Way too expensive for what it's really worth! The first bus leaves around 9am if you're staying in South Beach for instance and the last one is around 5pm so you have to constantly mind the time!
Another con is it's often crowded so the driver doesn't even stop to pick you up! We took a two-day pass and were sorry we did because it was not worth the money. Some guides are very nice but that's pretty much it. My advice would be, stay away and take the FREE trolley instead , the drivers are awesome and very nice and you spend nothing. The Metro Mover downtown is also free. If you have to move say from South Beach to another neighborhood, you can take the bus and then explore the district with the trolley.

Disappointing time wasting experience

Disappointing time wasting experience. Empty buses drive by claiming they're full, yet one clearly sees plenty empty seats. Why? Way too much time spent standing in hot sun waiting for the elusive "ten minutes away bus", surrounded by other customers all equally confused, anxious and frustrated. Rather give an honest ETA so one can actually spend that time exploring. Then suddenly a number of buses turn up together? Having done hop on and hop off in many other countries and cities, today's experience was unexpected and stressful. We bought the premium 2 day package, but will certainly not go back tomorrow for more punishment.

We had a very mixed experience in Miami…

We had a very mixed experience in Miami because of the quality of information imparted by four different guides. Robert was outstanding. We rode the entire red loop with him in the morning. We reboarded for in the afternoon for Little Havana and the next two guides were opinionated, self-absorbed, and very unprofessional. They had almost nothing to say about the city’s history or the architecture but talked about themselves and their beliefs (Josh And Ramon). Our last guide was a charming young woman who we enjoyed whose name I’m sorry not to remember.

$50 for this! Not worth it

$50 for this. We did the blue tour. Definitely not worth the money and the commentary was incomprehensible. The tour lasted about 45 minutes to drive up one street and back in Little Havana. Save your money. My wife is doing the red tour: hopefully this will be better.

Not available for wheelchairs

The buses aren’t available for persons in wheelchair. No space for wheelchair and strollers in the bus. You should say the number of stops -to know where to get out. And renew stops signs - to easier to find stops. But thank you. Staff was helpful

Good Ride. Covered quite a few places

It was a good ride. However, the tracking on the mobile app was not working up to the mark. The commenary in the recorder was a bit different from the one being delivered by person on board.

Customer always comes first..........

Wow-What a "Shame" that this Bus Company doesn't have air conditioning for their clients. Our driver, Chris Dasque, and tour guide, Megan Koops services were outstanding. My husband and I were absolutely miserable, because the temperature inside the bus was hotter than the temperature outside This is Florida, don't you get it???????????? Our three adult children were on the top deck which certainly helped. How do you get away with this? Meanwhile, I will not recommend your companies name to any of our family, friends or organizations.

Who ever the driver that schedule to…

Who ever the driver that schedule to stop on July 11, 2019 in front of Holiday in hotel (#4333) scheduled at 10am are very rude and not accommodating and should not be in customer/ public service. This driver did not even yield or stop, where a few yards away and I was waiving my hand for him to wait, he made eye contact with me but he did not even flinch or yield. He was way early to come in at 9:30am and late for 10:00am.
I will avoid this tour next time around not, worth my business. A few second of wait, cost you my business next time. My family travels at list 3 times a year.

I called 3 times the day of our tour…

I called 3 times the day of our tour there was no answer and none of the messages I left were returned. My first call was 6 hours before our night tour was to start, then another call 3 hours before and then one at 7:30 when the bus was not there to pick us up. The sign at the pick up location has your phone number on it to call if any questions but you don’t answer you phone so what’s the point. The night ride was nice but the customer service was terrible.
