Excellent commentary and polite, informative staff. I would most certainly recommend.

On Friday the 26th April, my family waited for more than and hour from 5:15 PM near Colosseum take bus back to termini station, but the Big Bus never came. In that duration we saw other buses like Green line/Pink colored ones stopping and passing by.
We finally had to take metro train to come back.

I have used Big Bus tours on lots of occasions and have found it an excellent way of seeing the city and allowing me to get off and explore. The down side is that I have never been able to use the 10% off because the offer expires too quickly. I was in Vienna in December and the offer expired in March too soon for my visit in April. As a teacher I dont get the freedom to choose my holiday times and would like to have an offer that I could use, as I visit lots of European cities. Having already visited Paris Prague,Budapest, Florence and Pisa in the last few years. I am looking for a company that will reward me for my custom.

perfectly arranged with friendly staff

Just spent an hour in rain waiting for a bus. We watched five (5) City Sightseeing buses pass by to load passengers. Many other reviewers on other sites have noted the same experience. When we finally boarded, we couldn't get seats. Big Bus had better get their act together.

Overall Big Bus Rome tour was good and staff friendly but stops were too few and it was difficult to get to certain attractions e.g. Pizza Navona, Pantheon etc. from the stops.
The full tour takes about 2 hrs but it has only 8 stops and although we had two day tickets, we still had to use cabs to get to a couple of places.
We have used Big Bus tours in San Francisco, Paris and London so this was not as convenient as those.

Always a good tour once on board used this company in a few cities now. And always exceptionally good. In Rome there are only a few stops so walked miles to get the next one, and not as clearly sign posted as it could be, more stops needed especially when visiting with the elderly.

It was good, but lots of rattling made it noisy, and hard to hear the commentary. On one bus (purple route) the commentary was intermittent.

Excellent. Met the expectations. There were plenty of staff at the bus stations and in the buses. We took a 3 day pass with night tour and it was really worth it. Will be taking another one for Paris shortly. Hoping that turns out as good.

I thought Big Bus Rome did a decent job. Some of the employees were lovely and some not so happy. I felt there was quite a bit of time wasted waiting at stops but other than that, exactly as expected

Really good organised tour and of Rome, plenty of buses so there’s not a long wait at the stops. Really impressed with the commentary on board the bus that was really informative. I would definitely book another tour.

Great audio, clean buses, and friendly staff made our trip enjoyable.
