Covent Garden branch!
The staff were amazing: professional and friendly, both management and waiter.
The food is very mediocre,
Lobster Mac & cheese tasted like it was out of a can, lobster was playing hide & seek & when found it was so tiny that you had to question if it was lobster.
Ordered The whole lobster: not value for money, very tiny, barely any lobster
The lobster in brioche there was more sauce than anything!
Before this place was my go to for lobster meals (not shrimp it always tasted fake) not anymore, maybe they are trying to cut cost but prices of food increases.
Especially with increased competition, the company needs to take a deep dive, improve drastically & relaunch!

Incredible place

Incredible place! The meat was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked and full of flavour 🔥

The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. It does get quite busy and a bit noisy, but honestly, that just adds to the vibe, the atmosphere is lively and really enjoyable.

Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for great food and a good time ✨🤍

Dont waste your coins

Well, it was utter stress and chaos.
We came as a big party, staff were polite and tried to be helpful but we did have to chase drink quite a few times. The music level is absolutely insane. The speaker was above our heads we were literally screaming at each other to be heard. The staff tried to accomodate but the speakers are all linked. Several members of our party became quite stressed,myself included. I struggled to hear the person next to me. My steak tasted burnt and to top it off my daughter was not allowed to blow out and blow out candles for her 16th birthday which she was quite upset about. I could not wait to leave as i was so overstimulated. What should of been a great birthday celebration was completely ruined. Staff tried their best but i cant rate it higher d

Covent Garden - Good food, poor service

Location: Covent Garden

Likes:
- The food was delicious.
- We had booked on Valentines day and was able to be seated 10 minutes early.
- The tall lad in the red lumberjack shirt was very kind and friendly.
- Starters came quickly, within 10 mins
- Desert came quickly, within about 15 mins

Dislikes:
- They forgot our drinks and we had to ask twice for them.
- They forgot our side orders and if I hadn't said anything, would of charged for it.
- Dining experience felt very rushed, keep in mind its Valentines day, felt like trying to usher us out as quickly as possible.
- Mains took about 40 mins to come out.
-As we had about an hour and half allowed for the table, it felt like we had to eat fast due to the time they took with the food.
- They are dishonest, there is a 12.5% discreationary tip automatically applied, which to me is not 'discreationary' but as we didn't felt like we had a good service we would not of agreed to pay 12.5% for our meal as additional tip.

Disappointing Experience and getting worse over the years.


We visited Big Easy Covent Garden recently and, sadly, left disappointed.

Our Prosecco & Lobster dish sounded great on paper, but there was no Prosecco available that evening. We were offered an alternate drink, which none of us wanted, and it was a poor substitute.(their own beer is nasty)

Two of us ordered the lobster. The portion was shockingly small, with very little meat in a half lobster. To add to this, we were not provided shell crackers or lobster picks and, when we asked, were handed one to share between two people.

What really undermined the experience was the bill. A large “discount” was shown, which initially looked positive. However, it became clear that the drinks that were meant to be included in the meal had first been added to the bill and then discounted — meaning there was no real discount at all. The manager explained this was required for till ordering. Frankly, I struggle to believe that, especially as I’ve previously worked for the company that supplied the POS system. It felt less like a system limitation and more like a clever bit of accounting.

Over the years, Big Easy used to be a fun, reliable place we regularly brought guests to. Unfortunately, both the value and overall experience have noticeably declined. With so many great dining options in London now, we won’t be rushing back unless there’s a clear improvement.

Big Easy - Big Disappointment

Service was very slow and inattentive as this was a busy Thursday night at Canary Wharf. We had pre-booked and paid for the sharing platters with a drink. Had to chase the drinks twice. Main course food was lukewarm warm at best as was the restaurant manager’s understanding. Good value for money but will probably never return. Whilst the live music was a welcome surprise, it was so loud it was difficult to have a meaningful conversation. Ask for a table away from the bar as it was difficult to eat with people crowding the seating area.

Westfield Stratford

We visited the Westfield branch in Stratford.
Nobody on the door and only 1 table taken.
Nobody walking the floor.
Another group of 4 waiting at the door
The table already taken were trying to get somebodies attention so they could order.
A lone bar tender washing glasses was the only visible staff member.
So we left.
The group of 4 were still waiting as were the seated table of 2.
Went to another resturant and had a cracking meal.

Disappointing Experience

Disappointing Experience — Not Worth the Money

We were really looking forward to this meal, but it ended up being a complete let-down. The lobster portion was tiny — barely anything on the plate. When the food arrived, none of us could eat because we had no knives. We had to chase down servers just to get cutlery.

Wipes and bibs only arrived halfway through the meal — far too late to be of any use. We also told staff twice that someone in our group had a food allergy, and still had to chase them for the allergy menu.

When we finally got it, we found out the allergy menu was out of date. Staff casually told us, “Oh, we just got an email last week saying this and that isn’t actually gluten-free.” Sorry — what? Don’t you think you should update the menu or at the very least tell customers before they’ve already chosen what to order?

To make things worse, my wife, who is coeliac and needs gluten-free food, ordered a sirloin steak but was given a ribeye — the one I had ordered. Staff insisted hers was the gluten-free one, but after mixing up the dishes, how can we possibly trust they got the allergen handling right? Especially when all steaks come with a gluten-containing dressing, which should be removed.

To top it all off, a service charge was already added to the bill — and then they had the nerve to ask for another tip when we went to pay.

Chaotic service, careless allergy handling, tiny portions, and no attention to detail. Not worth the money at all. Avoid.

Good experience

Lilliana was a fantastic waitress throughout our time in Big Easy, she served us efficiently and was so kind to us!!
Our only downside was we found the food a little too salty for our liking, but that’s personal preference.

Over charged for my drinks…

I was over charged for the party package drinks, when I brought this to their attention I was told put this in an email, which I did! however No follow up from customer service team. I have since made at lease 3 additional follow up calls and my refund has still not be processed 3 weeks on.
Staff very rude and they respond by telling you to follow up with another email! they were very prompt to chase you for the booking however very poor after care service.

Avoid Bluewater branch with your life

Avoid the Bluewater branch with your life! After getting sick from the food 3 months ago we decided to give it a go again last night. What a big mistake - my daughter were sick all night from the mussels, my ribs was rotten and the calamari off. All upset tummy’s all around. For this privilege we had to pay £200 for 2 kids & 2 adults. Thanks Big Easy. Never, ever again.

Overcharging customers

Just not happy having to fight to get the correct bill. Went to Covent Garden last night with a friend. I ordered the lobster which comes with a free drink. When we received the bill, the free drink was charged at £14.90. I queried it as it supposed to be included in the £28.50 price. The lovely waitress went away to the manager had it removed. But when the bill came back, it was still not reflecting the correct value as they can only reduce the price to £12.18 she was told. At that point we gave up and just paid the bill as my friend had enough waiting around because of this palaver. Never going back to a Bigeasy again.

avoid at all cost - soho

Soho/ covent garden branch - We went for the bottomless bbq and prosecco. The staff really couldn't have cared less. After 30 minutes we asked if we could get a refill. Each member of staff went to find another member of staff to find out if that was ok. Yet 2 young women sat down next to us and within a sip, were topped up. When we asked for a top up of the bbq we weren't asked what we wanted. Just presented with 2 more platters ( i didn't want any more, so that was just a waste). We finished and weren't offered coffee or desert. An absolute shambles of a place. Avoid at all cost.

Lack of attention to details

Went to Canary wharf Big easy despite pre booking had to wait for a table to be set up... Nephews food he ordered didn't come but brought him the wrong food twice he had to eat that or go hungry.. And gave him his food when we was leaving had to box and take with him... Sister got the wrong drink despite saying its not what I ordered was told it was...despite the bill saying different, Lack of utensils made food hard to eat nothing to open the crab with.. Not offered bibs... Nice Ambience not enough staff

Amazing Birthday celebration, Big Easy Bluewater

We visited Bluewater branch on Saturday 12th October for 50th Birthday celebrations. We felt very welcomed and special, from the entrance there were Birthday wishes from the team that made the evening even nicer. Food and service was amazing as always, our waitress Liliana was very helpful, knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this location for special occasions.
