Thank you

I would like to thank Ellis for his service today. The bike I originally wanted to purchase was sold, however Ellis took the time today to help me find an alternative.

He gave detailed responses for all my questions and I’m very excited for my lovely new purchase. I will definitely purchase from BigMoto in the future.

ASK FOR ELLIS - you won’t regret it

Such an easy process, I dealt with Ellis and he genuinely couldn’t have done more to help me secure the bike I wanted.
He went back and forth with the finance companies getting various quotes / terms based on different deposit options.
Can’t wait for delivery now :)

Highly recommend!

Excellent service provided by the staff. I initially had chosen a bike and started the finance process with Amy, only to see a different bike I preferred instead. She was nothing but helpful throughout, even though I felt like I'd wasted a big chunk of her time!
The supply of information throughout the handover process was exceptional, the sales portal is a fantastic concept I've not seen before!
Would definitely recommend!

Hidden engine change

Avoid this company I went to purchase a motorcycle from this company they failed to tell me that the engine had failed and that a reconditioned engine was on order when I purchased the bike.

I was only informed when phoning for a enquiry on my finance plan and the adviser stated the bike was on the bench and having some engine work completed I requested what work and I was then told a reconditioned engine was required.

When explaining the situation and that I was unhappy with the service the customer adviser became rude and ended the call extremely quickly

I still believe they wouldn’t have told me the engine had been changed.

I have now requested a refund and will not be purchasing a Bitsa Bike.

Also delivery is between 7-21days just so if you do want to purchase a bike you will be waiting a while to receive it regardless whether you collect yourself or not.

In the reply you have stated first available opportunity however that would have been at point or sale or on the sales sheet due to the engine being purchased prior to me purchasing it all I’m hearing is excuses and being told about the engjne swap was only found out through my curiosity

Hi Mr Rands thanks for the review. We made you aware of the engine swap at the first available opportunity. We would have also updated the V5 to show the bike had a replacement engine.
The call recordings don't reflect any of our advisors being rude or any calls being terminated.
We can confirm that prep time is 7 - 21 days currently due to the volume of bikes going through our workshops.

In response to your update - we were not aware of the issue until the bike went into the workshop for prep, this was after the point of sale. We are not looking to present excuses, just the facts of the situation. We're sorry that you were unhappy with your purchasing experience and wish you the best of luck in finding a new bike.

Bigmoto valued my bike on the…

Bigmoto valued my bike on the description given by me. They examined and confirmed valuation. Money was put into my account before the bike left my premises.

They gave a reasonable value approximately £500-£700 below the value of a private sale.

The process was very smooth and efficient. I do recommend

Tried to purchase a bike through…

Tried to purchase a bike through Bigmoto. It started off with there being damage in the digital pack that wasn’t advertised in autotrader. One salesman said it would polish out. Then another said it wouldn’t. Then they added a delivery fee. Then they added an admin fee. Then they said the delivery would take longer than planned. All in all I cancelled as the price kept going up and the problems kept getting worse. Wasted a lot of time and would avoid at all costs going forward.

Hi Lee, thanks for the review. We informed you of the admin fee and the cost of delivery when we went through the finance application with you. You stated you were happy with the figures at that time.
Unfortunately we can only upload a certain amount of images on autotrader, we use the digital pack with video to ensure customers are aware of all blemishes on our bikes. When we discussed the mirror with you we advised we would try to polish the mark out but could not guarantee it would work, you stated you were happy with this.

Would definitely recommend Big Moto

What a great company. They are super fast and helpful all within 24 hours I had a bike with a deposit to having a finance agreement signed a tracker put on the bike and an estimated delivery date. The call handler (Clare Hussey) was great, super funny and light hearted while remaining professional and helped me get through the process I.E. helping me with the additional extras / monthly cost. I would absolutely recommend Big Moto to anyone looking to purchase a bike especially if you need to get your bike delivered. Great value for money too

What an amazing place and stress free

What an amazing place and stress free, they quoted my bike on the information I gave and they arranged collection on what day I requested. The driver turned up and went over the bike and evaluated what I had described. They sent the money over to my account in minutes, I would certainly recommend Bigmoto to anyone buying or selling a bike what a fantastic service, forget other bike places in Macclesfield go direct to Bigmoto they are amazing thanks guys

Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable

John Ford at East Anglia was fantastic, we ran into a bit of trouble with miscommunication between the finance company and BigMoto but John got it sorted quickly, and while we were waiting he kept us entertained with his stories and memories. I had travelled from Nottingham to Great Yarmouth to collect the bike and he made sure my trip was worth it instead of turning me away, helping me to leave with the bike despite the initial admin problems. Understandably he stuck to the rules, not letting me have the bike until he had confirmation it was paid for from head office instead of trusting my word, but did so in a way that made me feel like he was protecting me from having to return the bike later.

Much appreciated to John and I'm sorry that I took up so much time causing him to miss a sale! But definitely a credit to the East Anglia staff
