Excellent service for 20 years!
As a defiantly stereotypical woman who needs a man to fix things, this shop has been my salvation again and again for two decades. Today I found my bike with a flat tyre and missing cap, after winter in the garden. I pumped and pumped to get it there, discovering en route that my bell had stopped working!
They found me a cap for my tyre, pumped it up properly, and even got my bell working - tho I'd been thinking I could at least pay for their goodwill by buying something.. but no charge!
Small things today, but I've gone straight to them again and again since I first got my bike and they're always so hands on and helpful, with nothing too much trouble and no question too small. Their service for the bike is brill too, with great clarity on what needs doing, the costs and what's maybe recommended but not essential.. so I could save some money when needed but get my bike going smoothly again with everything right. Don't go anywhere else! These people love bikes!
Always dependable and friendly.
I bought the bike from these guys 8 yrs ago. A specialised MTB. They do most of my servicing.
They are friendly enthusiastic and clearly devoted to the cycling world. Their services are always thorough and good value.
My recent service didn’t go so smoothly but they made it all good in the end with a minimum of fuss and left me with a bike that looks and feels as good as new.
Great service, went above and beyond.
I needed parts to service a DT Swiss GRC1400 wheel and Luke was exceptionally helpful in assisting with procurement of the correct items needed. After several emails during which Luke patiently answered all my questions, the parts were carefully packaged and dispatched promptly, the freehub was also pregreased. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Brilliant service.
Professional and trustworthy
Highly recommend: fabulous customer service. I was relieved my bike was fixed properly by professionals abd now I feel confident in using it on the road. Thanks to the Biketrax team!
Outstanding team of sales and…
Outstanding team of sales and mechanics. Only recently discovered the store. The sales folk always have time and patience to make you feel valued as a fellow cyclist. As a latecomer novice to the entire cycling scene I always have loads of questions to ask of experienced cyclist folks who I look up to for valued advice and opinions, and these folks are more than happy to share their experienced opinions patiently. On the latest visit on Saturday 20 April, when I had a troubling squeak coming my self-assembled titanium gravel bicycle (with how to do knowledge gained from YouTube) and after explaining that I was going to use the bike for Etape Lochness in a week, mechanic Ben was kind enough to take an interest and go out his way to spare a few minutes there and then, just before store closing time, to fix a number of problems he instantly identified, and made sure the bike was safe for the sportive event. Immediately after his expert input, the bicycle rode silent and silky smooth out of the store. I cannot praise the team there enough! The Etape Lochness was a success for me on Sunday, with the bicycle running smooth, willing me to go faster, and only limited by my own inexperience and level of fitness. Even so, I managed to complete the course in a time and position better than I had hoped for, thanks to help from Ben and Biketrax!
Really helpful!
Really helpful!
Popped in a wee while ago to order a few things for my bike. One item was a bit delayed after being ordered, which was no fault of Biketrax (A gauge thingy to adjust a derailleur), but they managed to find one they had in the back of the workshop and offered that I could use that as I need to get the bike ready for a weekend trip. So really happy with the service.
Polite efficiency
I have been a customer for a few years now and the staff have always been very helpful and knowledgeable.
On the off chance, I called in the shop on my way home from work with a squeaky rear wheel. The chaps spared their time to check out and fix the problem pronto. I have not had that experience for many a year. So thank you chaps.
Good mechanics
Good mechanics, picked up all faults of the bike. Wheel wasn't matching the dropouts, chief explained why it's not safe without using biker jargon. I would ride it anyways but they apealed to my sense of safety and got a decent price for E1900, one pointer I've mentioned to the shop is if client buys a product from the shop it should be fitted for free but it's policy and I get it.Plus I'm not sure if the tyre wasn't fitted dry. Can't take it off now but that's still not an issue, just a bit Noughty!;) Brakes were flushed on point, feel great. Rear wheel truing on point looking at the condition of spokes good job. New spring was fitted to rear shock all touched bolts got a good chunk of paste after reinstaling. Friendly Farewell from the new manager after checkups and a blast time with the guy at the reception(sorry forgot your name mate) were just an addition to good experience. I rarely trust bikeshops with my bikes, I was forced to do it this time and guys pulled through. Will come back if I'm ever in need. Fully recomend!
I was looking for a rare crankset…
I was looking for a rare crankset replacement and decided to phone up the shop for some help. Max and colleagues gave me quite a bit of time and were enormously helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and managed to identify a suitable alternative. Top marks!
Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service - slight issue with the order due to a warehouse issue but a phone call later (with some great advice) and we were sorted. Cannot recommend a better service, next time I need anything this will be my first place to look.

Very helpful and professional. Good buying experience.
A little disappointed overall
A little disappointed overall. Delivery was late considering how expensive it was! Also 2 chips in the head stock took away the condition of the frame.
Friendly & reliable
The member of staff with whom I spoke on the phone was very helpful and friendly. My products shipped very quickly and I was happy with my purchase.
Had the part I wanted
Had the part I wanted, and despatched quickly. So I got the part in about 4 days from the order. Quick and efficient. Cheers.
Informative and helpful
Really lovely, helpful, supportive and informative. They knew my bike really well and were able to offer tyres suitable for it that could be used on the surfaces I wanted to cycle on. There was a delay in getting my order, this was out-with their hands. They did get in touch when they had the tyres I wanted albeit not in the same colour as my original order, which was perfect for me as I didn't mind. So I got what I needed without having to wait unnecessarily. Not the first time I have used them and they are our go-to place. Cannot reccomend enough.
