We have old Bromptons, which in the past have been serviced by Biketrax exceptionally well. We were horrified to hear that Biketrax had lost the franchise/licence to sell Bromptons, and that it had been awarded to Edinburgh Bike Co-op. Reluctantly we had our Bromptons serviced at the nearest Edinburgh Bike Co-op which is in Aberdeen. The service was appalling, in stark contrast to fantastic service from Biketrax.

A couple of days ago, the folding pedal fell off my Brompton bike in Edinburgh so I popped in to Biketrax to find out whether they might have the correct part in stock, expecting that if they did I would be told to leave the bike and would get it back in a week’s time, however the pedal was replaced there and then within about 1 minute. The staff are extremely pleasant, skilful and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t chose to go anywhere else.

Speedy delivery and good stock. Would have liked a cheaper delivery option though (e.g. 2nd class post).

Website was quick and easy to navigate and our purchase was delivered as promised. Can't ask for any more than that.

Very accommodating and friendly bunch. Cool shop! Front suspension on bike was in poor state and sticky. Was a distraction on the rough terrain. Overall very positive experience

Very good rental bike. They got my position dialed in and I didn't need to change it (which was fortunate as they frowned up making adjustments to anything carbon ...). Location of the shop is great. Super cool and helpful staff.

I contacted biketrax from Italy, to make a birthday surprise for my son who was at that time in Italy for a short vacation but lives and works in Edinburgh.
I received assistance and professional advice, I paid on the fly with paypal and the boys immediately activated themselves to make sure that the lucky one (byketrax's bikes are TOP) could pick it up on the first Saturday since his return to Edinburgh.
In this way I only had to send my son a photo of the bicycle, an address and best wishes.

Thank you Luke and Will, it was a pleasure to buy from you, see you at the first opportunity.

Excellent customer service!

Hired a bike trailer from here. The staff were brilliant and great with my toddler. Trailer was in good condition and safe... unlike the one I hired from another bike shop in Edinburgh.

From time to time I have dealt with Biketrax for over 15 years for spare or replacement parts or accessories, always for a Brompton. They have never failed to be helpful, polite, and speedy. I recommend them without reserve. Keith Donaldson.

I rented a bike for the day from Biketrax Edinburgh. Everything went very well; they were well organised in the shop, the bike was as advertised and well maintained. Will rent from these guys again!
