Fantastic!

Can't understand the negative reviews, although people generally only leave them after a bad experience.
I'm new to Billabong and have just bought myself some amazing bargains in their sale including a rucksack, scarf and X2 fleeces. I liked my first fleece so much I bought another in a different colour!
With speedy delivery, good quality, stylish clothing which is a bit different, and eco-conscious materials I will certainly buy more in the future. Maybe add a vegan clothing range 🤔. This would be amazing. Keep doing what you're doing 🙂

Don't send survey till delivered

I know it was Xmas, but after 2 weeks have still not received order.. and no way of tracking, which may be down to delivery company...08 01 26 will change review to finally delivered, item good quality, just nearly 3 weeks to receive it, don't see joining billabong member has any benefits. Free delivery but bombarded with emails and a 3 week wait, upgraded to a2 star

Would not say experience was grea.

Would not say experience was great-see comments in previous questionnaire. Let down a little by longish delivery schedule, lack of reliable tracking information and what I consider the unprofessional procedures of DPD carriers.

Zero customer service

Zero customer service - business acts as a proxy to a european warehouse. No one is manning the support desk and the initial emailed response from the customer support form is automated.
I was sent some wetsuit boots in a wrong size and asked for a resolution but since their one and only response is an automated reply via 'Alice', I hold little hope of hearing back from an actual person.
So that leaves me with two options, try and send back via their Returns process which leaves me with zero confidence, or try and sell the products on.
It's shocking that Billabong think it is acceptable to conduct business like this, the '.co.uk' proxy company are operating on near illegality given how blasé their approach is to the Consumer Rights Act.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Ordered an item. They sent a size too small. Set up a return through order site, printed off return label and posted it. Since then nothing. 10 days later no response to repeated requests to know if refund is being processed. If they do respond its an automated reply unrelated to the query.
I have sent proof that it was posted back and that it entered the returns tracking service.

Still no refund. I now do not know how else to get my money back for an item they got wrong and I returned.

Package damaged

Package damaged, items missing from bag that was ripped open in transit. Emailed them 3 times with this message, finally got a response saying items can be shipped separately! Absolute joke of a customer service.

Terrible customer service and misleading discount system

I’m really disappointed with Billabong’s customer service. I placed my first order with a valid 20% Student Beans discount code, but there was no clear way to apply it at checkout. After contacting customer support, I was passed around, ignored, and repeatedly given generic replies blaming me instead of addressing the problem.

What’s worse, other customers have clearly reported the same issue with discount codes not applying properly, yet Billabong has done nothing to fix it. They keep advertising first-order discounts while refusing to refund customers who couldn’t use them because of flaws in their own system.

The agent I spoke with stopped replying altogether after I asked why the company ignores customer feedback and hides behind “policy” instead of helping. That’s not good customer care — it’s avoidance.

It’s very disappointing to see a big brand refuse to take responsibility or even acknowledge that their system isn’t working properly. I won’t be buying from Billabong again until they fix their checkout process and start treating customers fairly.

No loyalty...

Took months to receive a human reply for initial ticket (common theme here!). Chased up... ignored. Opened a new ticket. Original ticket replied to a couple of weeks later.
Item bought with money plus loyalty points. Item returned as poor sizing against same sized historical purchases. Billabong refused return of loyalty points. No disclaimers during purchase stating that loyalty points were 'non-refundable' in the event of a return. Unable to find anything on the website relating to this 'policy'. No loyalty to customer on Billabongs part. Very poor.

Non-Existent Customer Service

Bought a shirt from Billabong's website, and it arrived with rips in the seam. Tried to contact them by email multiple times, but have received no response other than an automated one. Tried calling, but a recorded message said that 'no one is available to take my call' and then the line went dead.

Does anyone actually work in the customer service department for this company? Judging by the reviews, I'm not the only one disappointed...

Will never purchase from Billabong again. Terrible from start to finish.
