Disappounting having eaten at Bondi…
Disappointing having once eaten, many years ago, at Bill's on Bondi beach. Leicester is not Sydney. The chain has lost love in the food.
It was fine for a quick Friday early evening meal. The chicken was succulent, corn ribs very tasty and crispy rosemary fries. Cauliflower soup was not warm enough and green salad too warm, so wilted.
If this review was for the Cinamon doughnuts alone, it would be 5*
Great place to eat
We had a lovely meal in our local Bill's Restaurant in Street. Our waiter, Joe was very attentive without being intrusive. This is my 4th visit and the food never disappoints. I thoroughly recommend treating yourself to a visit.

I visited Bills in Bath 28/9/25 we waited 20 minutes to be seated during that time we were totally ignored no apology either. It was another 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our drinks order. There were 7 of us 6 got drinks except for me. No one seemed to be around to get my drink my friend went up to the bar yet still no drink. Eventually after 20 minutes it arrived. We all gave our food order another 20 minutes wait, and again I was the only one without food. My friends had nearly finished theirs by the time mine had arrived. The service was absolutely awful and the cheek of it they added £17.50 service change which I might add we did not pay. It was an absolute disgrace. It was my first time there and it will definitely be my last.
Visited the Wimbledon branch
Visited the Wimbledon branch , excellent food and great service . Looked after by Niki who made sure everything was ok and recommended dishes. No complaints at all
Really disappointing experience with…
Really disappointing experience with Bills. I’ve always been a fan, however visited Bath on Saturday. We had some cash to spend, so bought dinner and a couple of drinks. It wasn’t until we tried to pay we were told they were cashless. Absolutely no signage or mention before hand. We queried this with the staff member who shrugged and said ‘I don’t make the rules’ which I thought was very rude. To rub salt in the wounds we were charged ‘optional service charge’ which hadn’t been pointed out and I would not have paid!
I wrote an email expressing my dissatisfaction and received a useless generic email regarding Bills being cashless and absolutely no acknowledgment of the rude staff member. I won’t attend again.
Visited Chelmsford Bill's yesterday
Visited Chelmsford Bill's yesterday. I was surprised and dismayed to learn that they do not take cash so I was forced to pay my bill by credit card. Also a service charge was already added to the bill - this is getting to be the 'norm' with restaurants now in the UK and it is not acceptable. Leave the tipping to the customer - IF THEY ARE SATIFIED WITH THE SERVICE!!If not, then do NOT tip!
Welcome back to Leicester
Welcome back to Leicester. booked a table saturday prior to going to the LCFC game, just like the good old days.
We were looked after extremely well by Lizzie, and of course will return.

We had a wonderful waiter
We had a wonderful waiter, whose name was Manik, in the Richmond Bills. He was able to serve lots of us and was a very nice man 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Long long waiting time
Nipped in for a quick refreshing drink and an early lunch unfortunately the food wasn't what we wanted. Ordered a cappuccino and coke zero. The staff that dealt with us was great, however, we had to wait twenty minutes the place was not full by any stretch.
Service was fine/but food!
Rushden Lakes
Service was fine, albeit mid morning, but food overcooked, sausage was typical supermarket fodder.
Why oh why do most cafés go for what I call sawdust sausages, I guess price, but I would gladly pay more for proper local butchers type; & they would be far more appreciated.
Tipping inclusive(12.5%), which I didn't realise,
I like to give a tip if earned.
Dog friendly👍
Manager very Rude
I checked online to see that Bills in Braintree Freeport was dog friendly. We arrived and waited 15 minutes standing at the door to be seated. We were the only ones waiting. No staff approached us, we were just left there. Eventually we picked up some menus and started to walk outside to sit, of which there were plenty of tables. The Manager Kelly stopped us and said "just make sure your dog doesn't mess everywhere!" Really!! I had a 4 month old puppy, in his harness and lead, in my arms. How much mess is he going to make! Then she said you have to wait at the door to be seated. At this stage we were still waiting for a "good morning, welcome to Bills!!!".... Kelly was grumpy, rude and made us feel unwelcome as we had a puppy. My friend said we were not waiting as we'd been standing there for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement, and we walked outside and sat down. My puppy lay on the chair and slept. Our waitress Holly was amazing. She should've been the Manager! She was very friendly, polite, hospitable and loved our little puppy. Definitely Management material, unlike Kelly who is definitely in the wrong position. Our food was okay. Nothing amazing to be honest. Bills in Braintree is not as good as Bills in Chelmsford. Our whole experience was dampened by Kelly's attitude and I'll not be going back. Management need to make customers feel welcome and if your website says dog friendly, then make them feel welcome too. So other than for Holly, it was a pretty awful experience.
Visited Bills in Greenwich for lunch on…
Visited Bills in Greenwich for lunch on a Saturday after a trip to the Cutty Sark. Unfortunately we found the service rather poor. After being sested we waited 20 mins for drink orders to be taken and another 20 mins for them to be served. We requested a kids milkshake with non- dairy milk but were advised that although they had oat milk it’s not possible to make a milkshake with it ( for some inexplicable reason) . Very disappointing since waiting staff are very good at asking about allergies but then the restaurant is unable to provide for them. Service was extremely slow. We waited almost half an hour after finishing mains even though the restaurant was half empty by that time - then had to ask staff to clear the table and bring the dessert menu. All in all a very disappointing visit and no where near as good as the Soho branch. Probably will avoid in future
Visited Bill's Restaurant at Rushden…
Visited Bill's Restaurant at Rushden Lakes with 2 grandchildren.
It was very busy because they had a special deal for 2 children to eat for free.
Service was slow but it was BUSY.
Main courses were fine but the dessert for the grand children was disappointing......the pancakes were so tiny.
My major concern was the state of the toilets.
One was out of action and the others were DISGUSTING!!!!!
Great food and service
We went to bills in greenwich for my daughters 17th
The service and food were amazing
Felt very comfortable and were looked after very well in a busy restaurant
Definitely a fan of bills brand and will return to other locations in the future
BEST customer service at the…
We had the best customer service at the Westfield Bill’s on Bank holiday Monday. Very patient polite and accommodating staff. Shout out to Dave who sorted an issue we had with our food, efficiently and without fuss. The restaurant was super busy but they still managed to give us full attentive service. I think a bonus is due for the team. Thanks guys!
Salad disappointing.
I had lunch in the Chichester restaurant.
We had a good cosy table away from the hubbub .
Service was good but I had to ask twice for a jug of water.
I had the Santorini salad with two ingredients removed as my main meal.
I was very disappointed in the size of the meal . There was mostly watermelon along with a few strips of lettuce. The most disappointing was that I had 5 x half inch square portions of Feta cheese.
The meal was not worth the price.
Great place to eat!
Place is situated well in the lakes, so a great view and vibe.
Staff were happy and smiling ( you don’t always see that!) professional but friendly too.
Food was fantastic as was the service.
I also get 20% off with my blue light card which is a bonus!
Definitely will return.
We had dinner at Bill’s in Westfield
