I have had the cottage pie and the lasagna. Cottage pie , I think there must be a shortage of potatoes and mice because it has the thinnest layer of mash on top and so much gravey in the mince that... See more

Bisto Gravy Cranules. Unworthy of even one star. I’m expat in New Zealand and we’ve always been able to get imported Bisto gravy here, which has been decent up until this year 2024. Whatever the... See more
Of this Aah! Bisto Classic Cottage Pie, the mashed potato (53% of the total) has the taste of finely divided 'reconstituted' potato and is utterly bland, with the consistency of cotton wool. Of the re... See more

Bisto cottage pie
Had a Bisto cottage pie and with the amount of gristle, it was inedible - disappointed.
Just had a Bisto Hotpot
Just had a Bisto Hotpot, very disappointed, very little mince and mostly potato.
What's happened to Bisto powder quality?
My mother always swore by Bisto when I was a child and used nothing else for making gravy. I'm now in my late 70s and have used Bisto all through married life for making gravy but goodness knows what's happened to it in recent years. Following the instructions on the packet (which I never had to) the gravy would come out like dish water! I use my own measurements but have found that I now have to use more and more gravy powder to get a good consistency (I prefer thick gravy). I don't use granules if at all possible but feel that I'm being forced to as the quality of the powder is now so poor. I'll be using a shovel soon to get a decent, tasty thickness of gravy! Also, I always purchase where I can the packets containing 454g of powder. The suppliers of these are now few and far between, unless you buy online (which I don't), I prefer to shop local but unfortunately my local shops do not stock the 454g only the 200g which again I felt I was given no option but to purchase. Unfortunately this will not last long due to the quantity of powder that needs to be used!
£4 FOR WHAT ...what a Complete rip…
Bisto Granules £4 FOR WHAT ...what a Complete rip off. Use to be just over £1. Sick of people ripping off the public. ASDA
I had a classic cottage pie frozen meal…
I had a classic cottage pie frozen meal today and although it tasted good it left me feeling as if I had a rock in my stomach! Not sure what additives are in these meals but best avoid in future
Waste of money
Most flavourless non thickening gravey on the planet,i am so sickened that as i couldnt get my usual gravey which by the way is less than half price and a hell of a lot nicer i ended up paying £4.55,i would rather go without Bisto gravey than buy that again!
Yuck - Repulsive Bisto Dinner
My husband and I each ate one of the chilli con carne with rice meals. They were the most repulsive, vile things I have ever had the misfortune to eat. There was barely one piece of edible mincemeat because it was all gristle and disgusting hard bits of who knows what. It was barely suitable for a dog. needless to say I will never ever buy one of these microwave meals ever again. A very, very poor excuse for a meal. Extremely disappointing and waste of nearly £6.00.
Very thin and just burns
Very thin and small portion. Cook it to guidelines and it cooks into a burnt solid brick. Inedible.
Total crrap never again

Where's the flavour gone?
Bisto Reduced Salt Gravy Granules.
I noticed lately that the amazing Bisto gravy flavour has gone, and it's now bland, almost tasteless. What happened?
Won't be buying again, until I hear the old flavour is back.
Sad, as I've been enjoying Bisto my entire life.
Mess
Ok, bisto powder is really good. The packaging can only be described as wasteful and messy. A box and an inner bag, no matter how you do it, you will end up with powder all over the work tops. This fab product needs to be in one container. I have never had gravy granules all over the work tops . It can not be profitable to use two packages, the mess does put me off sometimes, please mr bisto send me a reply ,I do buy your products.
Not a good add for children to see.
Why are you showing an advert on tv with children passing a gravy boat round when if they did it this way they would all burn themselves. You should definitely have put more thought into the add.
Weak & Nasty Bisto Gravy Granules
After year's of buying Bisto gravy granules I've got to say, that whoever had the idea to try and flog us off this cheap, nasty, poor version of Bisto has shot themselves in the foot.
I for one will never purchase this product ever again.
It seems like every big company on jumping on the band wagon of welcome to rip off Britain.
