I have had the cottage pie and the lasagna. Cottage pie , I think there must be a shortage of potatoes and mice because it has the thinnest layer of mash on top and so much gravey in the mince that... See more

Bisto Gravy Cranules. Unworthy of even one star. I’m expat in New Zealand and we’ve always been able to get imported Bisto gravy here, which has been decent up until this year 2024. Whatever the... See more
Of this Aah! Bisto Classic Cottage Pie, the mashed potato (53% of the total) has the taste of finely divided 'reconstituted' potato and is utterly bland, with the consistency of cotton wool. Of the re... See more

I LOVE Bisto ready meals particularly…
I LOVE Bisto ready meals particularly the Chicken dinner one. Such a lovely big piece of chicken with lovely vegetables and the stuffing is perfect too. Definitely recommend ☺️
Bisto Chicken Gravy Granules gone downhill
Bisto Chicken Gravy Granules seems to have changed recently. Not as much taste and I have to use more to get the consistency I used to get. Not impressed, especially at the price. I shall be looking for an alternative.
Smells like coffee
As everyone says the red gravy has changed taste beyond recognition. Open the jar now and it smells of coffee! Time to time to find a new brand.
What's happened
What's happened, price has rocketed, half Empty tubs having to use 2 or 3 times as much to get a the same consistency as before because it no longer dissolves properly, don't taste the same, it's become a rip off
What has happened to the Original…
What has happened to the Original Bisto? The taste is awful... completely ruined my roast dinner. Have used it for years... not now... threw the full packet straight in the bin. Won't be buying again unless the flavour is changed to how it was.
The gravy granules taste awful now
The gravy granules taste awful now. They don't dissolve properly far to much salt and fat in them.also it goes sort of stringy when made
Why has the gf bisto granules gone up…
Why has the gf bisto granules gone up from £2.90 tp £3.60
How can this be justified
The new recipe is bad bad bad
The new recipe is bad bad bad, it was a favourite of mine for decades,WHAT YOU DONE TO THE TASTE, ITS YUK YUK YUK
I loved the bisto hotpot
I love the bisto hotpot, even converted my daughter.
But oh dear bisto what have you done??
I did my shopping as usual, was looking forward to my hotpot for lunch.
When it was done and i started to eat it.... eweeee what have you done?
You have changed the recipe it taste so bland.
You have not even said on the box it is a new recipe.
I have always bought these every week for my lunch. Now i have 5 boxes left and not even sure if i csn eat them.
Please bisto stop messing with the recipe and if you have to do this, then at least put it on the box so we know it is changed.
The new recipe is not a winner for me. I will not be buying any more.
Just had bistro lasagne
Just had bistro lasagne. I think it is the worse I've ever eaten. The beef was chewy with every bite, and heavens knows where the cheese was! Such a shame, and I wish I'd read these reviews sooner because I gave the rest to my dog.
Changed recipe is now vile
Changed recipe is now vile - chicken gravy tastes like flowery herbs
I dread to think what they done to the others - why change something that tasted great?
Am doubly gutted as have food allergies & it was one of my few pleasurable foods that I could make fast - now it looks as if I’ll have to even make my gravy from scratch now too.
The only other change I can see from the old ingredients is they’ve removed milk and added a load of herbs - so think they are catering to angry vegan crowds - as there’s zero meat taste left in the chicken gravy
Really hope they haven’t changed the turkey or beef ones - as these added flavours overtake the entire meal and ruin it
Turned into foul and tasteless junk
Like many others I've been buying Bisto for years (could never manage proper gravel like my mum used to make). We had to go on a low carb diet for the last couple of years - so Bisto had to go. OK now, so bought some Bisto and was absolutely disgusted - thin, lumpy and almost utterly devoid of flavour. Foul to put it politely (or brown and runny......). Assume low salt / fat / sugar health tsars to blame. Will never buy again and suggest you don't either!
I cannot understand why Bisto have…
I cannot understand why Bisto have decided to add onion oil to their beef gravy granules. They make onion gravy, so why contaminate their old recipe. I have an allergy to onion and upon tasting my first mouthful, I was sick all over the dinner table. There was nothing on the tub to say that the recipe had changed. Shame on you. Iceland and The Co-Op still do onion free gravy thank goodness. I hope that your sales drop because of this.
Toxic gravy full of artificial chemicals! Should be banned!
Question how can you make gravy when there's nothing in your product that even remotely resembles gravy, just toxic artificial chemicals, I mean the list is endless.
I bought it because of its long history and association with my UK culture, I remember it on TV when I was young, how could you now make such a rubbish product shame on you and I hope you go bust!
Maltodextrin, Palm Fat, Salt, Colour (Ammonia Caramel), Sugar, Flavour Enhancers (Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium 5'-Ribonucleotides),

Really I think that the bisto ready meals are great for the price and a good healthy change from takeaways which cost a fortune these days.My favourite is the classic beef hotpot (which i add a fresh red chilly whilst cooking). I also like the cottage pie which i add some grated cheddar on top. Honestly, for an average of £1.50 how can you possibly give these products a bad review?

Wouldn’t feed the Bisto Lasagna to my dog so why do they expect us to eat such rubbish when it belongs in the bin.
Bistro Beef gravy has changed
I have bought Bistro Beef gravy for years and now they have changed the recipe. Tasteless, insipid and it ruined my roast beef. I will not be buying it again. If something is good - leave it alone !!! I hazard a guess you have cut costs so thy we have to use more to get any kind of thickness and flavour. It’s a
NO from me from now on
I've just some bisto heat and pour beef…
I've just some bisto heat and pour beef gravy absolutely disgusting a word of advice don't give it your children there's far too much pepper in it
Bistro gravy granuals are rubbish
Bistro gravy granuals are rubbish. Used to be good but to get a decent gravy thickness you now need to use at least half a carton full which doesn't make it very economical.
