Finally they gime me 5 days to retired my bitcoin, not by transferring it to my cold wallet no, they force you to buy Canadian $ and then send it back to bank account. It's like those people are government snitches, every other exchanges even the worst is better than this control freaks company, run away from them.

I’ve never had any problems with Bitbuy. The fees are a little stiff, but the user experience is top notch. Easy to control purchases, staking. Withdrawals and deposits are simple as well. I read people complain that the withdrawal wasn’t an easy process for them, I have always got the money I requested in a matter of minutes, every time. Although it says you may need to wait between 30 minutes to a few business days for transactions to clear, I always got my money instantly! That’s the best part about Bitbuy!

This Company is a Complete Scam, once you make a profit and try to withdraw, they ask for your Crypto Wallet Address, but they delete the very last digit and send you a confirmation of withdrawal and then the coins are lost forever or maybe that’s just a Scam too and they keep your crypto and when you file a complaint, they say that they need 21 to 28 working days to investigate and you never hear back from them again. After numerous attempts to contact them, they simply delete you !!!

I opened a Bitbuy account last year and started buying btc. I tried to get a sizable amount off the exchange recently via cold storage wallet without success. After several attempts to withdraw and following the verification process, reaching out to "customer service" I still haven't been able to make the withdrawl and Bitbuy has just cancelled the original withdrawl attempt. I'm afraid to start the process over because I'm feeling like I'm dead in the water here. I made multiple attempts to get someone to help me through the glitches in their profile verification process and I just got the runaround. And like another user reported, I'm asked about where I'm sending the btc, I thought it would be obvious since I'm trying ot send it to a cold wallet address. Then they wanted to know how long I plan on keeping it there.
I'm going to try again today to withdraw my btc and send it to cold storage but I'm very worried about this exchange.

Update: after 6 days I finally got a phone call from a very nice support person who assured me that I had done everything right and that they needed to do their due diligence and the restrictions would be taken off my account. My feedback to Bitbuy was that it would have been reassuring to have had the phone shortly after my problems started,

Scam. Put your money in. Can’t send crypto. You must cash out. They take profit. No compromise. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

They advertise free interact withdrawals. But $26 will mysteriously disappear from the amount you withdraw. It's not a fee though, so I guess that's all good.

I’m retired and my parents passed long time ago
I have other platforms that I use without any issues
I’m happy that I used a small amount to test BITBUY otherwise I would be in big trouble now

Pure scam.
They allow to register a new account , convert to crypto and then you can't withdraw your crypto. You have to talk to their "advisor". So, you have to schedule the call. And the nearest available date is three weeks down the road! Oh, ye! You can convert crypto back to Cads and then withdraw.
The whole adventure will cost you 10% of your investment.
Is it something called crime?

I’m extremely disappointed with Bitbuy. I made a deposit and was shocked to see that they hold your money for up to 3 days before making it available. This is completely unacceptable, especially when other brokers and exchanges process deposits instantly or within minutes. In such a fast-moving market, waiting days just to access your own funds is a dealbreaker. It feels like they’re deliberately slowing down the process, and it’s frustrating for users who want to trade quickly. Definitely not recommended if you value speed and efficiency!

What a scam this platform is, its like hotel california, you can come but never leave. Followed all instructions, wait for hold to end then say I can't withdrawl without making appointment to talk, about what? Then I cant get appointment for 1 month. Who runs this scam, this there a regulator I can report these company to.

It’s the worst i ever seen in rates when you buy and selling your coins. For example xrp coin listed at 3.55, the buy rares is 2.68 and the sale rate is 3.41. Mafia organization charges less

Avoid this company at all costs. In the last year they have become a scam, I had thousands in there and they would not let me withdrawal any of it except in dollars. I had to trade out of my positions to dollars just to get my money out. DO NOT USE BITBUY

This guys are scam. run away from them i was duped $10k last year. they would have gotten away with it if EPF CAPITAL PLC had not intervened.

I was told that my account is ineligible to use the platform for trading. Ok fine, but crazy thing is, this was after depositing via e-transfer, i realized after i tried to buy LTC to send to a friend in the USA to their crypto wallet, It would not let me buy the LTC with the CAD funds i had deposited. I thought hm, that's weird but then i tried to withdraw my funds back to my bank account, i can easily use another platform. It told me i needed to wait 72 hours to withdraw my funds based on initial first time deposit. Okay, i'll wait 72 hours. - 72 Hours have passed; am i able to withdraw my funds? No i am not. For anyone reading this review, you can simply look at all the other reviews and see that almost EVERYONE that uses this platform is having issues. Seems like a massive scam to me at this point, I may have to contact my Bank provider and let them know that i've been a victim of a fraudulent scam. This is very frustrating because i genuinely feel bad for the people who put in thousands of dollars with obviously no issue depositing but withdrawing you need to wait, and it's so evil that a company would do this and claim "we're just trying to keep our customers secure." That's a load of rubbish! Look at all the reviews! 0/5 - customer support hasn't responded to me and it's been more than 24 hours. With a company dealing with peoples money you'd think that they would be quick to settle the issues with their "customers" but that doesn't seem to be the case. After all the reviews i've read, I'm not going to say "Do Not Use This Platform" but i will tell you, there are providers that are WAY more helpful, and won't hold your funds for no reason and make up reasons that don't make any sense. I really hope the people that have had alot of money locked get their money back, I'm leaving this review for everyone else having issues with this provider (if you even wanna call it that) and also myself; and saying - This seems like a big ponzy scheme of sorts, Take your crypto investments elsewhere, these guys are SKETCHY + WEIRD. If customer support manages to reach out to me and i get my funds back, i'll leave another review but until then - this is exactly how it sounds.

Been with them for years. Now I need my money for family emergency and it wont let me withdraw any of it. they tell me something about restricting withdrawals to new accounts. But mine is not a new account. I hope that I wont have to get a Lawyer to fix this scammer!
