Poor customer service impossible to get in Touch by phone or email they Never email me back now that I got money invested they seem to ignore me impossible to whitdraw its block for how long I dont no.and I dont no if I did the good thingto invest money here

Locked Out

It was a huge ordeal to recover the funds in my account since I was locked out due to an 'incorrect' password. I was then prompted to complete a biometric data and personal data collection which I did not agree to and excluded from their terms and conditions and privacy policy. I disputed it and asked if they could verify me any other way including my ID, bank information, IP address, transaction history, etc. but to no avail. I sent them a quote from ChatGPT with the privacy issues and instructed the company to delete all of my personal data including data held by third parties. No confirmation for this request. TBA. Note, it took a month to recover my funds after countless emails. It seems another customer (reviewer) encountered the same issue which was unresolved. This is very unfortunate. The only way I could retrieve my funds was to close my account. IMO, worse than the banks. Hope that helps!

Warning - Bitbuy and will close your account and all money and crypto in account belongs to Bitbuy

I was purchasing bitcoin through Bitbuy. I recently tried to transfer money to bitbuy. Bitbuy requested all my bank financial transactions to clear my wire transfer. I provided it as they held my transfer money. They wanted to know where I transferred the bitcoin I had already purchased. I had transferred it to my cold wallet. They then required I send them a copy of all transactions in my cold wallet. Once they had all information I recieved an email. It stated I had 5 days to clear everything out from my account with bitbuy. Anything that was in the account in 5 days I would forfeit to bitbuy. They also were returning my money transfer. This is the result of this. Bitbuy held the transfer money for 9 days before returning to my account and charged me $35. The unrealized gain I would have had if bitcoin as purchased immediately was $2,000. The bitcoin that was in my account I could not transfer to my wallet. I had to exchange it to CAD which bitbuy charged a fee for and returned to my bank account. Another fee from bitbuy as charged. Do not use Bitbuy. They hold your money and bitcoin and if you are transferring to a cold wallet Bitbuy will issue a 5 day notice that they think you are scamming and Bitbuy will close your account at the end of 5 days and anything in the account is forfeited to Bitbuy.

what once was a great canadian company

Good Morning. I have been a loyal client for years and have always been satisfied with the service but recently i Had to some changes to my account and submit documentation. I had sent them the request last week no answer, then when i called they pratically pushed me of the phone. I am not one to complain, however if someone is reading this new ticket number 679377.

Subject login issues

Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience with BitBoy Canada App and Support

I wish there were an option to give a rating lower than 1 star because that’s what the BitBoy Canada app and its web browser deserve. Despite entering my correct credentials, the system keeps rejecting my login attempts, claiming my username or password is incorrect.

I have reached out to support multiple times, but I have received no response whatsoever. Additionally, I am not receiving any password reset email links, despite repeated requests. Instead, I keep being sent irrelevant or unhelpful responses that do not address my issue.

This level of service is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. If my issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action to address the inconvenience, lack of support, and potential loss caused by this failure.

I urge the team to take this matter seriously and resolve my login problem immediately.

BEWARE Scam exchange reminds me of coinfield.

Sent some crypto as a test to make the wallet address checks out. Its been 24hrs with no sign of it.

This is just like coinfield again, no customer service, no sign of cryptos. Thankfully i don't have anything on there except for the 2 xlm tokens i sent. Stay far away for these freaks

BitBuy (Coinsquare, Coinsmart) Criminals

BitBuy, Coinsmart and Coinsquare are absolutely the worst companies to deal with. AVOID AT ALL COST. I just don't understand how they are able to stay in business. They make it very difficult to imposible to get your money back once they have it in their coffers.

I deposited significant Canadian $…

I deposited significant Canadian $ funds to this company to my account through e-transfer. Funds didn't credit to my account. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT TRASFER IS PENDING OR WHAT IS HAPPENING. A support link is there that generates automated ticket - and NO ONE EVER REPLIES TO THAT TICKET EVEN AFTER DAYS ..I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANY CRYPTO INVESTOR. SERIOUSLY WORRIED ABOUT MY FUNDS NOW.

Scammers

I have an account with this company for several years and when i wanted to withdraw my money they stopped answering my emails and my telephone calls, i do not know why the Canadian government is still keeping them open ! They are big scammers , everybody be careful to deal with this company that is operating from Toronto

By far the WORST crypto company in the world! I asked to be able to withdraw my crypto which they disabled for me to do that. They took my money no problem and bought me some crypto XLM but then said i couldnt withdraw it. i had to sell it and withdraw fiat on which bitbuy charged me fees going in and exiting. When i said i was going to complain to the securities commission they namely a fellow named manny said i had 5 days to withdraw my fiat then my account would be deleted and purged from thier system.

Bitbuy is actually the worst

Bitbuy is actually the worst. I never wanted it.. i was using a different platform that switched over. Ive been jumping through hoops ever since to have access. Took days for me to have my account unlocked. Feels like some of my funds were missing after the switch over. But wont show history before your funds were swapped over. And the app is so glitchy. Wont let me withdraw.. and im trying to add my bank while i wait the 72 hours and the keyboard will not stay up for you to put in the account details. Its like theyre trying to keep your money on their platform. Feeling like ive been robbed. I better be able to withdraw my money in 72 hours... be warned. I wouldnt trust Bitbuy... never again. Go to Kraken.

You guys held $3000 worth of bitcoin with no options to withdraw or trade

Hello my name is Timothy and i am writing to you guys for a second time and would need a response else i would file a complaint with the Ontario Securities Companies OSC. I made a deposit of $3000 3 days ago with the purpose of holding a bit of crypto, after a few hours i tried to convert a bit of the bitcoin i bought to eth but it said i couldn't trade on my account cause of some security whatsoever which is just uncalled for. Now i have $3000 worth of bitcoin in my account and i can't withdraw or even trade it. You guys are just keeping my money with no justifiable cause. I would like a response soon as possible thanks

Disappointing platform

Very un happy with them i have opened an account and got verified but they have took the right to withdraw crypto from my side 
And wont even allow me to send funds to my ledger .
They have asked me to schedule a call with one of their team to get approved to send crypto I did                                                                                                ( it took around 6 days until was available slot to schedule the call )
I have waited by the phone around an hour and a half and didn't receive any calls ,                                                                                                                      Then they sent me an email saying that they have called and I didn't picked up ( i was by the phone waiting for a call )
I've tried to contact support and didn't get any answer they sent me an automatic email with a link to schedule another call                                                           ( Another week to wait until they had an opening )
Didn't get any replays from support , they have very good reviews online and were recommended through                                                                                Out a few articles i read online so i choose Bit Buy because of all i read 
Very shame that they have such poor customer service ,                                                                                                                                                              when you are dealing with a company that deals with your funds they have to have a very good customer service 
I am disappointed as a costumer and i don't recommend of this platform  

I dont even have a case number because they dont answer

I made a huge mistake transferring to…

I made a huge mistake transferring to Bitbuy. A few weeks in: a withdrawal restriction on my account with completely unwarranted and intrusive questioning from Bitbuy via email. CAD funds and crypto are completely frozen and unable to withdrawal. Email support has been unhelpful and giving me the run around. Anybody have any advice on how to solve this?? It is completely unacceptable. I have used MANY crypto platforms in US & Canada and none have ever had this issue.

Bitbuy asking intrusive questions and requesting screenshots of my own coldwallet withdrawals. These questions arouse after withdrawing crypto from their exchange to my coldwallet. No other Canadian exchange that I've used (newton, kraken etc.) have asked for such personal information after a withdrawal.

Bitstamp to Bitbuy

Had an account with Bitstamp that was transferred to Bitbuy.
When we finally got access to Bitbuy there is no crypto in there.
0.3 bitcoin is missing.
Now they claim we withdraw that after 8 days we bought it.
This never happened and we have never withdrawn btc or money from the account.
They now want us to send a picture of an ID with a handwritten note.
Like what is that?
We need help if anyone has had a similar experience.
That's quite a lot of money missing for us.

If this withdrawal was made before your Bitstamp account was moved to Bitbuy, the best route of action would be to reach out to Bitstamp directly. They can provide first-hand details about what may have happened.

I bought crypto currency from them…

I bought crypto currency from them after that they blocked my account , I was compliant and answered all questions they asked (they did not answer mine). I did nothing wrong , still they are holding my funds ( and use them too , I think this is your end game after all ). All together, all the process they are practicing are abusive and unjustified, this leases me no choice but to complain to the regulator for this and make a “good review “ for such practices eventually reducing future victims.
