For over the last months I have not been able to make any withdrawals of any coins. I have sent documents, photos, statements, everything they requested. This has not done anything to help me get access. They have now been asking me to explain my withdrawals, I keep explaining I have not been able to make any withdrawals and they just do not get it. I had no problems when it was coin berry but now.
DO NOT use this company.
Worse exchange out there…
After being few years in crypto I can tell with certainty the Bitbuy is the worst crypto exchange!
Few years ago they lost my 25 ETH coins, and few months after they suspended my account!
I was very new that days to crypto, only now I understand how bad this exchange is.
Bitbuy has been amazing
Bitbuy has been amazing. Vit and Mohib took great care of me, my 2 accounts, my dad’s account and friends account. Deposit and withdrawal is easy. No issues. Never any problems with this. Used them for 3 years now.
High fees
Takes a while to get your account set up. When you go to withdraw crypto to another wallet, their fees are insane! Best to avoid this exchange and use one that has lower fees and better customer service.
Zero customer support
Zero customer support. Withdrawals apparently you have to wait 3 business days. No support phone number, no support email response. No address.
Very poor experience.
No service at all
I open an account with this company, it was really easy and I had to cantact them with a bank account issue, the first two time they contact me right away my email. After having change my bank account (they don't accept Desjardins). Even if I was correctly registered I couln't deposit any money from my account. I try to contact them, more then 10 times without any success. I want to close my account because useless, but you have to contact them to do so. There is no other way to contact them but by email. Absolutely no service
What a horrible experience
What a horrible experience! Once they ask you to update the app/account you get locked out for no reason at all. There is no support team to help you rectify this other than emails. They want you to send more personal information in which case I did. Still nothing and still locked out! If this is supposed to be a trusted company then why is there no support team or staff where you can actually speak to a human to rectify the situation. They keep sending the same information and getting no where. Will be going to a fraud department to see where my investment is and if I can get my invested money back. Obviously this is going to take some time but this is 100% a scam. Buyers beware! Look for another trusted company and do your research!
Do not use Bitbuy
I have googled Bitbuy and read favorable reviews, however my experience with them has been horrible. Here they receive terrible reviews, this company cannot be trusted and I fear I may have lost a significant amount of money with them, there is no customer support with this company and they will not respond to any of my investment queries. How will I ever get my money back is unknown.

What's going on??
I had used this exchange forever being the only Canadian exchange I could find that was reasonable. I signed up a while back with no problems. Till recently. They went through a ui change of sorts and " due to prevent fruad/crime" I was limited to 3 deposits a day.. sure... I can work with that.. when it came to withdrawing My crypto.. randomly I got hit with a suspension of withdrawl of crypto but it noted to me I can still withdraw My money.. uhh OK.. so I opened a ticket to see why i was restricted on my crypto withdrawl. The 3 reasons the site says it could be are not true at all..not my first deposit.. not a new device.. and no changed were made to my account.. the 3 reasons they state.. are not true.. when I hit "learn more" I just get sent to the support page to open a ticket... ugh OK? I had to use pro trade as trading directly from the book gave me internet errors.. .. no response from bitbuy for a few days now.. and looking at the pro trade.. the volume is incredibly low.. overall not impressed in the last few weeks. Seems suspicious and overall annoying. Will update/remove review if I get ANY response as to why I'm being ghosted and denied my crypto withdrawal

I will be honest and give them 2 stars, still one of the best in Canada, if you don't know much about crypto don't self custody, just want to buy and hold I guess its ok. As for the bad, their fees are absolutely isane purely disgusting at 2% borderline criminal. The new app is garbage, it wont let you sign with biometrics, their level of support which used to be great has gone down the drain. If you are used to trade on Buybit or Binance you will realise how limited bitbuy really is. Also more then anything, charging 0.0005 BTC for a transfer is absolutely disgustingly crazy ! (+40$ for what should cost 2-3$) Stay away if you can, go try other platform unless you don't care being OVER charged ! Use VPN go elsewhere save your hard earned $
INVALID CREDENTIAL - but no way to get validation or ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT!
My CoinSmart account was migrated to Bitbuy.ca last year and I received scant details about how to re-establish access to my crypto-trading account. During the past week I have tried numerous times to reset my password to my new Bitbuy.ca account but have never received the promised access code Bitbuy supposedly sent to my designated mobile number (which is the same as that under my former CoinSmart account). Furthermore, when I send Bitbuy messages via both PC and Bitbuy.ca app links I do not get a reply, other than an acknowledgement that I sent them a request, and a warning not to send more requests becasue they will take longer to respond i.e. "so you have a serious problem with your account but we won't get back to you on a timely basis, if you try to contact us again (i.e. via CoinSquare) we'll take even longer to not reply".
Further to one of my attempts to get access to my account, and to add insult to injury, I did get a notification from CoinSquare - which I hope is a related entity - that my email is already registered and I should login on CoinSquare. Of course the reset password system does not respond from that domain either! SO FAR I have CoinSmart, Bitbuy, and CoinSquare associated with my registered (and previously verified) account.
[NB: These matters were mostly resolved when various BitBuy agents addressed my specific issues. I upgraded my rating of BitBuy. While I give them credit for reaching out to fix the issues I am concerned at the wait times needed to get trading status problems resolved.]
Horrible, Suspect Fraud.
Horrible, suspected fraudulent. A bank statement was required for application approval. I blocked out my account total as it was none of their business! My account was reflected! When I asked for an explanation the consistent only reply was it’s our policy! Bull, they have other motives and I would be very, very careful! There are a lot of other less suspect applications out there to use. STAY AWy from these guys!!!

This used to be an excellent Canadian exchange but is now complete and total garbage. Ever since O’Leary bought it things have gone to hell. I tried e-transfering $3000 in order to purchase some ethereum and after a day and a half my transfer was not processed. I had to call my bank in order to reverse the transfer which they did, thankfully. I missed a 20% jump in Eth as a result of this ordeal. Terrible exchange do not use under any circumstances. As a Canadian who wants to deal with Canadian exchanges it actually pains me to make this review but I just want to warn others.
I've used Bitbuy for years without…
I've used Bitbuy for years without issue. Recently I've tried to withdraw crypto into my CAD(cash) account. Every time I try to sell certain crypto assets ie; Polkadot or Polygon I get a 'Validation failed' message. I'm signed in to my account and can successfully sell other coins. Not sure what to do to bypass this message. Bitbuy doesn't provide further details or suggestions on the matter. How do I solve this issue?

I had been requesting so many times to please re issue my withdrawal to my email but it had been more that one month, Bitbuy is not acting on it. My withdrawal was issued already to my email but because of my mistake in answering the security question, E transfer unable to process the withdrawal and they said I have to contact bitbuy. I dont know when is Bitbuy going to grant my request in re issuing the amount of more that 2400 to my email, so that E transfer can be able to process it.
