This is my second purchase from Blackmoor. Standard gooseberry and redcurrant in 2022, both excellent plants and doing well. As they were so good, I've now received and planted a James Grieve appl... See more

Bought Peach Tree last year. Did nothing last year but thought I’d give it a chance. This year just shrivelled up and died. Notified Blackmoor and response was just to send me a link to what disease it had died of. Not great customer service. Will be my last purchase from them.

I recently collected an M26 bare root apple tree from Blackmoor. It’s now in my back garden, planted following Blackmoor’s instructions. It’s a nice looking tree, with a good root system, no complaints.

I asked if one of the trees I was ordering was going to be suitable, and they gave good advice despte the risk of losing the order.
The plants I did order arrived on time, and are thriving in the garden.

Ordered two half-standard Titania blackcurrants. (Blackcurrant plant grafted onto 90cm stem. Had to google that before ordering)
They arrived within a few days looking incredible! Already had a huge amount of flowers that look like they’ll turn to fruit. I wish I could upload a photo I’m so impressed
They are beautiful plants and have won the Mrs over, who initially didn’t want them ordered

Received my 2 blueberry plants a short while ago seem in good condition plenty of foliage although a little cramped in the box don’t really know much about this variety but looks completely different from my previous buys from Blackmoor just hope it is a good companion plant for my other blueberry plants

I liked how informative and friendly the Blackmore website was, and that they sold the pink blueberry in a slightly bigger pot than other retailers. It arrived happily sitting in its box and is now snuggling in some ericaceous compost 😁

I ordered 2 rhubarb plants on the 16th Apr paying for first class Royal Mail delivery @ £5.25. Birthday presents for my mum's birthday on the 24th. They weren't posted out until the 24th Apr and I received them 28th Apr. I can understand taking out two days for Good Friday and Easter Monday but the rest of the delay is unnecessary.
The plants themselves are in good condition and were well packaged.

Further to my earlier review I was sent two replacement rootstocks which to be honest didn`t look in much better condition than the original ones - these too eventually failed.
I was given a refund.

Beautiful healthy plants well packaged.
Added bonus was the tracking of the parcel - it was brilliant.

I ordered a plant from Blackmoor Nurseries recently. I wanted a particular variety & they provided expert growing advice too. Their communication was excellent, advising me of the status of the order & when it was dispatched. I was then able to track its progress until delivery. The plant was expertly packed to prevent damage in transit & arrived in beautiful conditioner just as it had left the grower. I would not hesitate to use Blackmoor Nurseries again.

Beautiful plant all ready for collection - way bigger and healthier looking than if we’d have gone to our local garden centre….thank you

I ordered an Egremont Russet apple tree in early Feb.
A '2 year bush bare root'. It arrived quickly and I planted it indoors (with light) in a bucket of compost until early March when I planted it out.
It is now covered in blossom, really beautiful. This recent retiree is a total beginner in the garden and could not be happier.
There's lots of useful information on the Blackmoor Nurseries website, e.g. how big the tree will get, pollination groups etc.
Totally recommended.

I’m delighted with my tree. Beautifully grown and carefully packaged. It’s already been dug into its new home in our garden! Many thanks and I’d be very happy to order from you again.
