They were on time, hard working and careful of my things. I would definitely refer these three men and Black Tie to my friends.

The people that actually did the move were courteous and professional. My complaint lies in being overcharged. The move took four hours at the agreed rate of $185.00 per hour. However, I was charged almost $1600.00.

Fast. Nothing valuable broken.

The movers did a great job and were easy to work with.

We had a few issues, but they got professionally handled to our satisfaction.

They left a bar cart and plant that we had to fit in my car and take to the storage area.

The plant was artificial and the bar cart contained on liquor.

Black Tie Moving in Memphis was fantastic! Professional , friendly and very careful to not damage furnishings when loading and again when unloading. Covered tables, wrapped dresser drawers- and moved a few antique pieces without a scratch or dent— highly recommend.

Great customer service, nice, professional workers! Although they gaughed a place in my doorway trim and didn't tell me about it and I found it after they left, they worked very fast!

The movers were **excellent** and efficient but the move understaffed and too few workers assigned for a whole-house move. Only two workers showed up with one truck, and others had to be called in for reinforcements and ended up having to make two trips back and forth with the truck. It was an unnecessarily very very long day. I have never used a moving company before, so if I move again I will definitely ask for clarification on how many trucks and movers will be assigned to the move. Rookie mistake!

Fantastic group of movers! They had us packed and loaded in a day and a half. Outstanding crew. Great experience for the price!

Our movers! Kantrelle, Cantrell, and Ethan were pleasant and easy to work with. They kept us informed throughout the process communicating about any questions and making certain when we arrived to our new home that all of the furniture and boxes were not only placed in the correct room, but even in the exact location in the room. Thanks so much for making our move easier and more enjoyable!

The move was underestimated. It was an intrastate move, and someone should have come onsite to review. A second truck was needed, and the first one was overweight and needed to be partially unloaded. On the second truck my grill was never secured and apparently dropped.

The crew worked beautifully together and made my move from Memphis to Nashville problem free. They always went the extra mile to protect my valuables. I could not believe how efficiently they moved. A shout out to: Braxton, Tay, Laxavier, Isiah, and Terrance.

Making an appointment was easy; phone personnel were helpful. The young men who did the moving were pleasant, hardworking and seemed to work well together. They were eager to place furniture where I wanted it and kept a positive attitude. I appreciated their professionalism.
There were some nicks and dings to furniture and a drawer that won’t open/close properly as well as a few places on walls but I didn’t report these as I had not taken before/after pictures.

The movers were on time, diligent and pleasant to work with during the move. They wrapped my furniture and handled everything with care. My only concern was that I never received any written confirmation of the move and I was not able to note or prove any damages.

I'm appauled after being so nice to this crew. I went back to my storage unit for a final walk thru. I then find the my table glass was broken. The driver for this crew mentioned earlier he had not seen my table glass. After this experience, I can not trust these guys. I await positive respect and resolve from this review.

First of all they were late. I called Black Tie because I was most concerned about moving my art and lamps. I was assured that the first thing that would be done was carefully packing my art and lamps. When the crew arrived they were completely unaware and unprepared to pack art and lamps. They improvised but in hindsight I should have sent them away and hired a different mover. I wound up with a broken lamp and two very expensive chairs with broken legs. My husband, who is a master craftsman, was able to repair the damage. I would not choose this company for any future moves.
