TRIUMPH STRATFORD
Purchased a Triumph Trident 660 which had a problem.
This was quickly and efficiently sorted by Rob (The Manager) and the team.
Many thanks

I dealt with Perry on the purchase of my new KTM Duke, He was very helpful, professional, informative and knowledgeable. Customer service was outstanding and made the transaction seem less. I will definitely use Blade again.
Helpful and patient salesperson
I went to browse Triumphs and ended up testing a Street Scrambler (not for me) and a Tiger 800 (bought it) Salesperson was helpful, didn’t rush or hard-sell me, and wasn’t bothered when my meandering purchase process went on past normal closing time. Used bikes were well prepared and very clean- the ones I looked at were at least. I was happy with the price and p/ex deal and handover was straightforward. Lots of paperwork to read and sign though.
Forced by Ombudsman & Finance company to take back bike - took over a year!
I had a painful experience with Blade Swindon with a new KTM motorbike, having raised an issue with corrosion on a bike that was still in warranty, they refused to do anything even when they were told by the Ombudsman, and verified by an independent inspection, that the bike was not suitably durable. It took over 12 months and only resolved through Santander being compelled by the financial services ombudsman to collect the bike and refund me. Blade Swindon inspected it themselves, agreed with me that it wasn't acceptable but refused to repair it as KTM excluded corrosion in warranty - completely ignoring my statutory rights and the fact that they are responsible. This was the 3rd new bike I purchased from them, no previous problems so didn't experience how they deal with complaints. Freedom of information request after the fact showed that it wasn't just the Swindon branch but the actual head office of the group that had the approach of doing nothing if they couldn't recoup costs under warranty, even when evidence shows a problem and they are absolutely the ones who are liable to fix it - thankfully I bought with finance and Santander do abide by their responsibilities but by their actions of also ignoring and delaying in dealing with Santander it resulted in me having a bike I couldn't use (as I'd formally rejected it) for a year and having to continue paying for it. No apology from the dealer even after it was proved that I'd been sold a defective/sub-standard product, no interest at all from KTM (even though provided with evidence that it wasn't just my bike but a problem with multiple KTM's of the same model) who only cover the engine and frame for warranty, a terrible way to treat customers from both Blade and KTM. My advice would be to always pay the deposit on a credit card so that you can use the Ombudsman to adjudicate and protect your consumer rights, Blade Swindon lost a repeat customer but not sure this even bothered them at the time. I wasn't intending to leave a review, but after reading the correspondence I got under the FOI request and the way they dealt with not only me, but also Santanders complaints team, I felt compelled to make others aware of what I experienced.

due to distance i bought a used triumph t100 after a whatsap video of the bike.the salesman decribed the bike as immaculate which was good enough for me to buy it.anyhow the bike arrived with various srapes and scuffs on it.ive priced the damage for parts alone comes to £500.its dissapointing that they were so desparate to sell that they managed to do the video without showing the damage.numerous calls have been made but i am not able to talk to anyone to resolve the issue.if i could have left no stars i would have done
Triumph Bud Eskins
Just bought a triumph T100 Bud Eakins from Blades of Swindon. Perry the salesman was very professional with the handover and I am very pleased with the bike

A small dick works there
I took my Honda deauville in to have the rear brake looked at, as was a little spongy, as i came in one of the guys moving bikes around asked what i was riding...I told him i had a Deauville and he said, lucky we have a skip at the back... i was shocked that someone would say that to a customer coming in, i would have retorted but didn't want to start i didn't know what he did, as he might have had to work on my bike, the young lady on the service desk was unsure what to say or how to react...I found his attitude both unhelpful and very unprofessional, he knows nothing about me or why i use the bike i do, I happen to be a community Carer and i need a bike like this tyo carry all the PPE and meds i have to use to look after elderly and sick people...
Not all of us need a flash fast bike to make up for our insecurities and the need to compensate for our lack of stature.
will i use them again...hell no, if this is the type of dick they hire for there shop, i want nothing to do with them, what ever happened to the motorcycle fraternity.... does it matter what we ride...as long as we do.
on the up side, the young lady at the service desk was very helpful and an asset to the company...unlike her colleague
Honda X-ADV 750 Purchase
Recently purchased a Honda X-ADV 750 under business finance through Luke and I was extremely satisfied with the service we received. Luke went above and beyond to ensure all information was clearly explained and that the finance was arranged in a timely manner. Very professional conduct and friendly customer service. All round great experience and we are now enjoying our new purchase immensely. Thankyou Luke at Blade Motorcycles, Abingdon, Oxon.

Terrible Experience
This is the worst experience I’ve had in almost 30 years of buying a motorcycle. It took 6.5 weeks to deliver a used Triumph Explorer 1200 from a cash deposit! The bike had staining to both sides of the engine casing which wasn’t there when I first viewed the bike with photographs as proof. Bike was advertised with Arrow and fog lights, it had neither on delivery. Blade have been less than helpful leaving all the communication up to me, whilst they offered to take back the bike, there were no apologies or offers of compensation of any sort. When I spoke with the manager he shrugged it off and just agreed my experience wasn’t what he would expect. I’ve decided to keep the bike because in current covid climate they are rare, but I would never choose to buy anything from Blade Motorcycles again.
Honda Monkey Yoshi RS-3
Hi, I knew what I was looking for, bought a 2 year old Honda Monkey from Blade Honda in Swindon over the phone in lockdown 2021. I was assisted by Perry. I opted to have an aftermarket exhaust fitted (supplied at a discount, thanks), there was a problem with order / supply in the first instance, mistakes can happen, everyone is human after all, yet it is how they are dealt with that matters, I was patient and to be fair to Perry he certainly did persevere until the situation was resolved, to my complete satisfaction. Extremely happy with the bike, much better than I expected for a 2yr old bike with 1700 miles on (is virtual as new), clearly been looked after and never seen rain, many thanks to all at Blade Honda in Swindon. Best regards, Richard :-)
PS: Your delivery driver Nathan should get some overtime he had virtually done a 12 hour day by the time he got to me, cup of tea and sandwiches were supplied to keep him going !
Purchased a new Triumph Scrambler 1200
Purchased a new Triumph Scrambler 1200. Lovely bike, it was all ready on time. Pete Saunders from sales, was very helpful. When collecting the bike, he advised me on several items and demonstrated all the functions of the electronics menu. He encouraged me to contact him if I required any further information. Pete also followed up a few days later. I am very pleased with the service from Blade Motorcycles and would recommend.
Blade Triumph Swindon
I bought a second hand Triumph Tiger from Perry at Blade Triumph Swindon who was very friendly and helpful, explaining about the Tiger before my test ride. He, along with his colleagues esp. Nathan, made special effort to ensure that all the loose ends of the purchase were dealt with in a timely manner.
Disappointing
Disappointing I bought a brand new bike had stickers replaced but the old stickers are still in place and new ones put on over the top and also ripped the new stickers on applying them. rear seat does not lock down. also my rear rim has chunks/gouges in it showing bear metal although these issues are getting sorted I still feel it shouldn’t of left the shop this way the guys have been helpful they are friendly chatty and seem willing to help but I feel a brand new bike shouldn’t of come with these issues 😞 I hate leaving bad reviews but sorry guys
A great experience at all levels!
I recently bought a bike from Blade Ducati in Abingdon and the whole experience was excellent. I liaised with George Kruczko, who was very helpful, informative, and made the whole experience easy despite the lockdown limitations. The communication was spot on and prompt and on the day everything went like clockwork. I will certainly go back for anything else I need.

Spoke with George today and he went above and beyond to help me trace some old bits for my 2011 1098 Streetfighter
Can’t praise this guy enough
Priceless 😊👍
AVOID SERVICING YOUR BIKES THERE UNLESS…
AVOID SERVICING YOUR BIKES THERE UNLESS YOU DONT CARE OF PRICE! I went for 7600 miles service on Kawasaki + break fluid changed and been charged 674£ 😱 That like 10% of the bike value. They haven’t let me know about the price just when I picked up the bike. It is official overpriced as I checked with other local Kawasaki dealer service they would done this for 500£ still a lot but not 674£ and when I talked to the phone they said they do price match with other local Kawasaki dealers 😂
THEY CHARGED OVER 100£ or more for 1 hour labour.. When I want to get some money beck they just ignored me. They said will phone me and they never did. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I'm surprised to see previous negative ratings. Bought a new bike via contactless socially distanced selling during covid, George worked hard to answer my questions, produced walk round videos and made things hassle free. nice delivery guy very helpful and patient and helped make it into an occasion. my first brand new vehicle ever. I felt valued and they listened to my requests
Excitement spoilt in buying a new bike.
I bought a new bike from them (pre registered 70 Plate).
On collection at a pre arranged appointment was kept waiting in the cold and rain. Had to ask for a coffee.
They had agreed to fit a power socket but then invoiced £180
Staff had bad customer service and attitude inter alia trying to upsell gap and tyre insurance etc. Glossing over what verbally agreed (play back telephone calls are recorded for training etc etc)
Not a pleasure experience in buying a new motorcycle. Cant blame covid for bad experience.
Cheltenham branch - average
Pretty average. Staff are friendly but ever so slightly impersonal. For me, they just fall short of that line between “what a friendly person” and “meh”.
I have also been considering taking my Triumph elsewhere in future because the cost of service just seems to be getting so darned expensive! My previous thoughts were that it’s best to take your Triumph bike to a Triumph service shop but, whoa.. not sure I can afford it.
A tidy looking showroom with plenty of bikes to ogle over 😊
