Monthly plant box recommended
I subscribed to the monthly plant box with pots as my previous attempts at buying plants had failed miserably. Every plant they sent has done really well despite my lack of green fingers. It's such a shame the subscription is not flexible. I moved over to a different company which had bi monthly subscriptions but their plants were not as healthy as bloombox.

Customer service hung up on me..
I Initially stopped myself from doing this because I HATE complaining, but looking over at my sad, ripped to shreds plant, I thought maybe its necessary.
I bought one plant for my studio, to be a backdrop for my videos and liven the room up a little, however when it arrived, each leaf has been ripped significantly, and have only got worse over time, there were also several dead leaves at the bottom indicating it possibly hadnt been looked after before being shipped to me?
Anyway, this isnt actually the worst part, the worst part was the customer service, I took a day off to wait for my delivery, and around 3pm I believe I got a text from the currier to say they attempted delivery... when they hadnt (I have a nest doorbell and my office is by the front door) I emailed customer service and asked if they could contact the couriers to ask whats going on, the response was ' I can see on the system they attempted delivery today and you werent in, they will attempt again after christmas'... So they completely ignored what I told them in my email, and didnt bother contacting the couriers like i asked.. so i repeated myself in the email, and asked them to contact, again I got a somewhat robotic response similar to the first one followed by ' we cant accept returns for plants damaged due to missed deliveries' despite me telling them no delivery attempt was made..
So at this point I call them, I explain my situation, and again they check their system, despite me asking them to contact the courier again, I was explaining that it had been over 5 days since my delivery had been shipped, and was concerned about the state the plant would be in when it arrives, and all i wanted was them to get conformation from the delivery company, that they did in fact not attempt delivery, so if i did have to return it, i could get a refund.. What happened next? THEY HUNG UP ON ME. They actually put the phone down on me mid conversation.
I review products for a living, I've worked with 100's of companies, and bought from even more, this was the WORST customer service I've ever received, and would honestly recommend avoiding them at all costs. I'm so frustrated and shocked at the state of their customer service, I decided it was more hassle than its worth to try and get a refund.

terrible service and product - the courier took a week and I waited in on the day they said they would deliver. They then didn't turn up. The next day I received an email to say they had delivered - with a photo of a piece of pavement. Got home and they had lied as no delivery and ring door bell not triggered. They eventually delivered a few days later - plants were dead and the lamp I had paid extra for was missing. As it was a christmas gift I went out and bought more plants to go in the terrarium. It was not cheap and postage charges are a rip off for the servie received. I contacted customer services who wanted a photo of the dead plants (which as I had already binned as didn't think they would need any evidence of dead plants when it takes 2 weeks to deliver). Their marketing blurb is all about plants and mental health - this has been stressful and horrible and couldn't be any further from their marketing. Yes another company that is all about social media and marketing and nothing about service.
A follow up - after hearing nothing from them about the missing lights and dead plants for 2 months I opened a case for a part refund from Paypal. They couldn't even be bothered to respond to that case so Paypal found in my favour.

Product overall good

Whilst I am very happy with the resolve which was done in time for Christmas, I feel the quality checking could be improved to avoid such issues arising again.

No flexibility or empathy for the customer
Accidentally typed my old address. Couldn't change the address through hermes and they recommended changing it through the supplier (bloombox) however they cannot change it for me (have no idea why, but their policy says you cannot make chsnged after ordering) nor request a refund, as per their customer service rules. Why is there even a customer service?
Lost my items and the money.
Top Notch Customer Support
Plants are of good price but the customer service here is what makes bloombox outstanding. As with the holiday season coming, couriers get lost and delayed. Their support team especially Jasmine was very helpful in sorting out all the issues I have experienced with the deliveries. It is very tricky to be sending live plants around but with COVID I guess that's the new norm.
Don't assume if you've ordered something that you will receive it
Taking orders for items that are out of stock. Extremely unprofessional as this close to Christmas, I am now having to shop around at the last minute.
There's no excuse with modern stock control to take orders if you're out of stock
Fabulous looking plants
Fabulous looking plants. I’ve ordered a few in batches and they all arrived packaged well and looking great. I like being able to see the pet friendly range without having to look up each plant and the detail on the care required for each plant.

Pleasantly Surprised Repeat Customer
I've got to say I'm pretty pleased with my experience thus far with Bloombox. I'm not typically one to write reviews but figured I'd leave my thoughts on this one. I've ordered twice now from them and the first order was a big one - probably about a dozen plants. Of the plants I received only one was in bad shape, one of them was the wrong plant, and the rest looked great. I messaged their customer service and got sent the correct plant right away, no extra fees or hassles. The second order I placed, I ordered four plants and oddly only two of them showed up - one in immaculate shape and the other needing a bit of care but mostly healthy and great. I again messaged their customer service and they immediately dispatched the other two that didn't show up. Sure they don't always get it right the first time but their customer service is honestly top notch from my own experience.

Amazing quality flowers with little fuss
I have now received three orders and am extremely impressed with the quality of the flowers. All bouquets have arrived in great condition, perked up with the food provided, and lasted for around two weeks (when the next order arrives). I couldn’t be happier with this experience - I was just saying to my partner that it’s the highlight of my week when I receive the order!
