THE WORST!! Not reliable

Oh my god they’re THE WORST!!! They’re not reliable AT ALL! I see some good reviews here, I guess, ordering from them is like a roulette. You may receive something nice (I guess based on the reviews), and may receive something very bad (my case). It’s not what you want for their quite high prices. My order cost little less than £90.
I ordered a plant from them for my husband’s birthday.
Not only did they mess up with the dates (they let me place the order, and in 4 (!!!!!) days after that (1 day before the birthday) it turned out the plant was out of stock). Obviously, the surprise was ruined. I had to tell everything to husband and he agreed to wait.
Today, (3 days after the birthday) the plant was delivered. The plant is a complete mess, all the fruits lay down on the ground, the branches are broken, the delivery box looks like it was smashed several times. A reminder that the delivery cost almost £7.
Another shockingly bad thing is the support team. They are simply terrible!!!! They either don’t bother to answer your letters at all or write you a random letter once in 3 days. I tried calling them, they don’t pick up the phone.
I’m very, very disappointed. In fact, I’m frustrated.

Delighted with my purchase

I ordered a large plant that I had wanted for a long time. It arrived within just a few days, in excellent condition, and is now thriving in its new home thanks to the advice that accompanied its arrival :)

Simply the best

I didn't expect to be this excited!

Just moved house and fancied a few house plants to liven the place up. Came across this subscription which takes all of the decision making about not only which plant, but which plant pot to buy all wrapped up into a monthly mystery box. I did not expect to be so darn excited about it.

Really well packaged, and not a scratch on the box despite it somehow getting to me from the Netherlands.

I cannot wait until I get my new plant next month!

Beautiful

All plants arrived looking healthy and packaged with protection in mind. The plant pots are gorgeous and Bloombox takes all the hassle out of finding the right sized pot, and without having to source beautiful pots from 'all over' that fit with own decor too.

3 subscription plant received ..... roll on No 4

I have just received my third plant in the subscription and really happy with all the plants, pots and the excellent information. I live in the Highlands of Scotland and each delivery has been perfect. I have really enjoyed reading about how plants help with the quality of air in our homes. Roll on next month....

Lovely website and fantastic selection…

Lovely website and fantastic selection of plants, however, plants did not arrive in great condition (dry and damaged) and customer services attitude was not the not as helpful as I have experienced with other well-known online plant and flower retailers!

Hi Tamsin, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We can see that you contacted our Customer Care Team on Tuesday the 30th of March regarding your order placed on the 17th of February.

We do ask that if a customer receives a plant in bad condition or feel there is an issue that may affect the plant's growth or survivability, they contact us ASAP (or within two weeks of delivery) to investigate this further. Sadly, we are unable to investigate any damages or health issues reported after 30 days as it’s impossible to know whether the plant arrived unhealthy or if this is due to the care that the plant has received. We'll always compensate but we do ask that customers get in touch ASAP (or within two weeks of delivery).

Apologies for the disappointment caused here. Thank you again for taking the time to speak to us and leave us a review.

Amazing service from Joanne at Bloombox

In my second month of the subscription and the courier lost my parcel. Joanne from their customer care team has been an amazing help. Really prompt response time. Provided me a form to raise the issue with the courier and arranged for a replacement to be sent which I should receive shortly! Very happy with the service!

I get the monthly subscription

I get the monthly subscription, all plants are really healthy and delivered really carefully, its so lovely to be sent another addition to my green family every month. Now I need to put up some more shelves.

Beautiful monthly treat

I'm three months into my subscription and loving it.
A monthly treat just for me.
They have all come well packaged with good information cards so that I can give my new plants the care they deserve.
Each plant also comes with information about the positive effects of plants in your home.

Stunning and unique goods

My first purchase was a stunning medium calathea which arrived as promised, on time and beautifully packaged. It is extremely healthy and came with lots of helpful and easy to follow care instructions. It is so beautiful that it deserved a new pot which I bought from Bloombox. The sizing guide was very helpful in choosing. Thank you Bloombox you are a fabulous and unique company.

Disappointing and bad quality plants

Disappointing experience from start to finish. Bought a snake plant in January, which despite paying £6.95 for postage arrived with sad looking and damaged, snapped leaves. I contacted customer service and was offered a 20% discount, which I accepted to avoid the hassle of returning the plant. Six weeks later the plant developed an infestation of fungus gnats, which I understand is common with poor quality soil. Despite my best efforts, I've not been able to get rid of the infestation and my plant started to look quite poorly and had to be disposed of. I chose Bloombox because I thought I would be paying a premium for a good quality plant but have been disappointed. Feels like a massive waste of money and can't recommend them.
