Since 2004, Bluebird Care has been here to keep loved ones where they feel safest: at home. We started as a family business, and today we’re honoured to be a trusted partner in home care for families across the UK through our network of over 200 local teams.
Our purpose is simple yet profound: we’re here to enrich the lives of those we care for—helping them stay independent, maintain dignity, and enjoy the everyday comforts of home. Our team of compassionate professionals is dedicated to making this possible, day in and day out.
At Bluebird Care, we know how hard it can be to balance care with life’s many demands. We understand the emotional weight that comes with aging, illness, or disability, and we’re here to provide support that feels not just capable, but caring.
We offer a wide range of services, from personal care and companionship to dementia support and end-of-life care—always tailored to the unique needs and wishes of each person we care for. And we’re here for families, too, helping lift the responsibility from your shoulders so you can focus on being the son or daughter, rather than the caregiver.
Bluebird Care stands out because we genuinely listen. We make sure that every service is crafted around the people we serve. With us, you can trust that your loved ones are in gentle, reliable hands, so you can have peace of mind and they can have the comfort of home.

Been with Bluebird for about a year. They provide care services, such as stoma care that many of the other companies do not provide.
They have really supported Mum, and clearly worked with Mum to ensure she maintained as much independence as she could.
The other week, on last visit of the night, Mum needed 111. Nicola stayed late to help Mum get though to 111 and set up the home visit she needed.
Thank you Nicola we are very grateful for what you did.
The care provision has evolved to meet Mum's changing care needs.
My thanks to all of the team who have been so supportive and vital in keeping Mum independent and at home.

We are really pleased with the care Mum has received. Mum really likes the carers and they know her well and are lovely with her. The office staff are really responsive and very helpful and supportive. I would definitely recommend
i can not recommend Bluebird Care as an employee enough, they look after us and suppoet us in every way. Nothing is to much trouble when I call or vist the office.
Just brilliant! Had a not so good experience with another company, when I enquired here, they just helped me in every way.
They are truly different to others and this shows in the carers, they are so professional and friendly
Very straight forward and easy to get the information needed to set up the care for my Grandmother.
Friendly staff, good knowledge to give clear and quick responses to queries.
first time needing to reach out and use this kind of service so the calm and knowledge of the Blue bird team put my mind at ease
The service provided by Bluebird care really cannot be faulted. The carers always arrive punctually and work efficiently and professionally. Because support is provided by the same few carers, they are familiar with the routine and location of everything.
On a personal level the carers are friendly, smiling and anxious to help in any way - a pleasure to have around.
Delightful carers, clearly competent at their job. Telephone staff very good too. Efficient.
Inflexibility on time of arrival of carers is a problem when I have my own medical appointments to go to.

New management took over Bluebird care in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire when Mum was being cared by them, which was satisfactory at the time; the new management gave us no warning of this then proceeded to change the care arrangements we had in place for Mum. They then made life very difficult for us as a family including fees going up and paying for there parking or to take the time off mums care. The management staff were rude and abrupt on the phone and were only interested in making money not about mums care. We left having to give them a months notice and found a much more flexible, approachable kind and caring Care Team in Huntington.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND Bluebird Huntingdon

Bluebird in Ely couldn't do enough to help us and we couldn't have done it without them... They liaised with other medical professionals on our behalf and made the whole awful process so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble! The staff without exception were incredible and Dad adored all of them. He was a proud man and they were not only very professional, but also friendly and approachable. Can't recommend them highly enough! Dad enjoyed their company immensely and they became part of the family during the time they were with us. Wouldn't hesitate to use again. Highly recommend!

The carers are very supportive and mindful of my mothers condition. Contacting the office is easy and they are helpful, and make positive suggestions to improve her care.

I have now been working for Bluebird Care for 6 weeks. My experience so far has been amazing. The initial training in the first week was very informative and kept me engaged and I learnt a lot. The training has continued to be amazing throughout my training period. Everyone has been very welcoming and I feel like I am truly part of a highly professional team and I am excited to continue my journey with all of the lovely staff at Bluebird Care.

Until they were taken over in 2023, Bluebird provided my mum with carers who could empathize with her situation - dementia, frailty, COPD, etc. However, since takeover they proved themselves to be obstructive, bureaucratic, astonishingly unhelpful and, for reduced level of care mum received, well over-priced.
Read the very small print if you intend hiring this company.... mum went into hospital after a fall. She was in for three weeks, during which time Bluebird continued to charge her for each and every visit that they were due to attend... I spoke with various members of staff who all confirmed that even with several months' notice of upcoming visits by relatives, (when their services would not be required) they would still charge the full rate. Is this legal...? DO check their money-focused approach to 'care' before signing on the dotted line. I trust they go into administration ASAP.
By the way, other providers such as 3BNCare we're excellent, attentive, empathetic, available, flexible - and HALF the price....
