To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

Bluenose Appliance Repair works on both sides of Halifax Harbour: one branch in Halifax on Spring Garden Rd, one in Dartmouth on Akerley Blvd. We repair fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves and ovens: Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, Bosch, KitchenAid and most other brands, gas and electric. The process is the same on every call. The technician tests the appliance, explains what failed, and writes one price for parts and labour. You approve it before work starts. The service call and diagnostic are free when you book the repair. If the machine is too old to be worth fixing, we say so and you decide. Every repair has a 90-day parts and labour warranty. We read every review on this page and reply, starting with the negative ones. Hours: 7 am to 11 pm, seven days a week.
