It was an absolute scam. Ordered over 6 weeks ago & we’ve gotten no updates or resolution to the order placed. We called, emailed, reached out on social with no success. Do NOT order from them.

Shame on BO-HA - terrible customer service
I agree with everyone who commented on the lack of customer service. It doesn't exist! I'm sure Stephanie Davis is a ghost name. 2 wall sconces arrived without the detailed centre medallions. I let them know the medallions were missing and sent a photo. "Steph Davis" replied that a ticket has been issued and I should hear back from a customer agent in 24-48 hours. Days went by, nothing. That was 11 days ago. 3 emails and 2 phone calls later, nothing! I tried submitting a review - but, it didn't go through. Duped!

Terrible customer service. DO NOT trust this company. I’ve been trying to get a refund since 12/28/2023 for items that I was not satisfied with since they arrived slightly broken and didn't function properly. The communication is spotty at best and when you actually get a reply it doesn’t help to resolve the issue at all.
The other reviews that mention this are 100% accurate and I am currently experiencing it. I will take notes as mentioned by another reviewer and post on their social media to get a response.
I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company (which was successful) since they were absolutely unhelpful in helping me resolve this issue. I think you should do the same if you're currently dealing with this issue.
Awful customer service and lack of communication
Ordered and item on November 29. It is now December 18. I sent several emails and left voicemails requesting any information on my order. I initially had one email saying they saw my order and someone would get back with me within 24 hours. No one did. I called the number on the website and the voicemail went to a children's museum, then was out of order, then the number changed completely on their site. I found that odd. It wasn't until I started posting my frustrations on their social media page that someone got back to me with a USPS tracking number that USPS says isn't one of theirs, but the Bo-Ha folks swear it is the right one, and my item will be delivered shortly even though tracking shows the delivery service hasn't even received the item yet and no one can tell me when to expect it. Just a general lack of communication and really poor--I mean awful customer service. They should not be allowed to advertise 24/7 customer service because it is an absolute FALSE claim and misleading advertising. Due to their lack of transparency, communication, and general questionable business practices, I will never order from them again and if my item is ever received, I'm sending it back--although it appears from other reviews, I'll never get a response or a refund when I do. Buyer beware and be prepared for zero communication.
Update: I never received my order and ended up disputing it with my credit card service. I just didn’t have the patience to communicate with this company anymore.
Reseller of Aliexpress crap, doesn't refund when returning
I got the item that doesn't really look like the mockup they have on their website. I returned the item, never got a refund. They completely vanished the moment I did the return.
Tip : search the picture from their website on google image and find the ali express seller that sells the same thing for 20% the price.
Edit : after writing this review the company called me and offered to refund. I would still not trust them.
I ordered 2 pendants and 3 wall sconce
I ordered 2 pendants and 3 wall sconce, worth about 600$. Unfortunately all was fine until I needed a refund because they are nor CUL approved and not safe/accredited in Canada. I shipped my lights back, but I never got the money back. Be sure you are able to install these lights!
Ordered the Amalia light
Ordered the Amalia light. It shipped pretty quickly but upon receiving it we noticed that there was no safety certification sticker on it and our electrician would not install it. I’ve been trying to get a response from them for weeks! I get generic responses saying someone will contact me in 24-48 hours. Nothing. I’ve tried calling. Nothing. Terrible customer service. And a useless product.

If I could give a negative star I would. I have been reaching out for months trying to get a refund. Stephanie is the only one I can talk to via email. No one answers the phone and they keep saying, we will send you a return authorization and then ghost me. I don't think with all the similar negative reviews that a company should be able to get away with this. They also said their products were manufactured in California and the package clearly came from China. I just want my money back.
Does not honor 30 day refund/exchange policy
I ordered a pair of wall sconces but discovered they would not work for what I need. The Bo-Ha website states they have a 30 day money back full refund and exchange, no questions asked. I contacted Bo-Ha by email a week after I received the order to arrange for an exchange for a different model. They (Stephanie) sent a generic response email the next day saying they would respond within 24 to 48 hrs but did not actually get back to me until a week after my first email. A few more emails were exchanged afterwards within the 30 day period in which they gave no detail or confirmation they would honor the full refund/exchange policy and in fact they instead suggested I keep the ones I ordered and "gift" them to someone and they could then offer me a discount on the model I did want. I also tried calling their customer service phone number but it goes to a generic voicemail and I never had a call back. This company does not honor their refund and exchange policies and does not provide 24/7 customer service as per their website.
Never refunded an item that I paid to return
I am having a terrible expérience with this company. I bought a fixture from them. I Did not like it. I wrote to them and they said I needed to pay for the return (I live in Canada) and once receive they would refund me.
It was worth it so I paid to send it back. I tracked the package. They received it but never refunded. When I reached out they finally said they will refund, but it had to be on the same credit card (mine was changed for fraud) so they could not refund me. I asked that they find a way (send a cheque or a transfer ) but never got back I sent multiple emails and they provided multiple excuses not to handle the situation. Since then it has been months ( forgot about it). Lately I wrote to them and still they are not responding. I will continue to request my refund and will elevate my case.
The quality of their products is good
The quality of their products is good. The customer service might be the worst I have experienced with an online reseller ever. Stephaine, in particular, cannot tell the truth to save her on life. I have over 2 dozen requests that went weeks w/o responses and even most recently when I gave her a chance to make good before I wrote a scathing review she promised to send me replacement bulbs and they never arrived. There are many, many other lighting resellers that offer similar products with great customer service. Stay clear of BO-HA or hope you have zero problems with your order and get lucky not to have to reach out to Stephaine.
Scammers! Defective product, no refund
I ordered a sconce that was defective. When I sent an email, with pictures, to customer service they replied that they were looking into insurance for the shipping. I reiterated that it was defective, not damaged but received only non-committal responses.
Eventually I sent back the fixture, at my own cost, so that it was returned within the 30-day requirement.
I verified via tracking that they received the return and then proceeded to be told for over 60 days that 'Stephanie' was looking into it, even though it was not her job and she wouldn't give me anyone else to contact. I posted a negative review on their site, which was confirmed by their system as being received, but which was never posted. Scammers!
Follow up: After posting this initial review, someone contacted me stating they were the owner of the company. They asked if I would remove my poor review if they processed my refund. I stated that I would gladly amend my review but not remove it and I never heard back from him, so still no refund! Totally unethical company.
BO HA: Not 30 Day Guarantee and no such thing as 24/7 Customer Service
I bought a couple of sconce lights. They came and were not what I thought they were. I followed all the instructions and have communicated with their comms person several times. I sent the lights back in March and I have still not been contacted or refunded. I put in a BBB complaint. I'm still waiting for someone to contact me. It's been 3+ months. Every time I email them, I'm told that someone will return my email and no one ever does.
