Transport of boxes etc

I love the sofa but it would help a lot if the transport company could take all the boxes and other transport covers with them after delivery.

We recomment to keep the packaging in case you decide to return your product. If you would like to return your product it is requred to come back with the original packaging in order to get the full refund. (In the case of sofas we only expect the sofa to be covered as good as possible with the packaging)

Unconvenient pick-up point

Pick up point is not convenient to reach due. It is only opened 3 days/week and weekend is not included. Further it is far from public transport.

The reason our pickup point is outside the urban area is partly for practical reasons, we can come up with all the furniture to be delivered and collected as we do not have the capacity or place in our stores.
The opening hours are adapted to the quantity of goods sold, but since Bolia grows, we want to extend our opening hours.

Issues with the quality

Two of the legs of the tables we bought have quality issues. One is scratched and the other one had a problem in a corner with the venieer peeling off.
I'm highly dissapointed with this issue

Messed up the delivery.

Missing the corner pice of the corner sofa. Instead of the corner it was a 2-seat sofa in the package. :)

wrench key is pretty much useless

Hi,

The wrench key is pretty much useless. The space in the table to operate the tool is really tight and It took a lot of patience during the assembly. I will buy a new tool and re-do.

It will be worthy to have a proper tool deliver with the furniture. I will rather pay 65 kr more and get a real tool.

Bolia is not IKEA.

Furniture order

#1 - Difficulty purchasing with a credit card - The computer system would not take a standard credit card. Only debit card from Sweden. The associated had to process my card via the main office. 3 days to order 23k SEK in furniture.
#2 Delivery - The delivery company just left the couches on the floor. No setup, no removal of packaging. They didn't put the legs on. If I knew delivery was going to just be someone carrying it up the stairs I would have gone with a cheaper moving company.

Regarding the delivery the set up is not included in our service, unfortunately and we recommend you to keep the packaging as returned items must be properly repackaged in the original packaging, insofar as possible.

Great all the way!

Quick and easy from my decision what I like to buy. Steady and clear communication of confirmation, delivery by e-mail, personal call and sms.
I ordered delivery to my door and the transporter called me as announced exactly 30 min before delivery, I live at 5th floor and the door bell rings and all stuff is carried inside smoothly, I check all ok and sign. Simply great:-)!

All fine in store, but some irritation home

We had good experience in both Bolia stores in Stockholm (Södermalm and Kungsholmen), felt well advised about our sofa and the cover to choose. The order process was smooth as well. There were constant updates on our order and sufficient information on the procedure to follow. However, delivery was a little disappointing as the personnel was eager to leave as quickly as possible. Checking the package for damage seemed to be nearly unacceptable, as was the request to put the package in the apartment instead of the entrance hall.
When I opened the package, I realized that we had to screw together the sofa ourselves, and only half of the screw holes were pre-drilled. This came as a surprise to us, as we had not been informed about this by the sales person, and had intentionally not chosen an IKEA item. ;-)
However, the sofa looks fine, the upholstery is as promised and I can only hope that we did everything right by fixing the sofa up ourselves. :-)

Bolia delivered my sofa without screws for the legs on 2 March. Still waiting!

Bolia delivered my sofa without screws for the legs on 2 March and I am still waiting to receive them! Customer service on the phone or their Arkaden store is almost nil - what service does not follow up with its customer to find out if they have received the missing part and then close the case? And why were there no screws with the delivered legs? The last contact I had with them was when they offered me a gift voucher for 500kr (which I accepted thinking I would get the screws the next day but no). I sent them a second email last week asking when the screws would arrive but no reply from them. I've asked for my money back in full and no, I don't have the packing the sofa came in so let's see what happens.
I am so disappointed - should have read the reviews before ordering a sofa from this store.
Update: Later in the day.
Bolia sent me an email agreeing to take back the sofa and effect a full refund but their saving grace is Jonas who works at their transport booking office. He called me to book a time to pick up the sofa and listened patiently while I ranted frustratedly about why I was taking such a drastic action. Sympathizing with me, he promised to see what he could do to solve the problem and said he'd be in touch during the day. Later in the afternoon, I got a call from Pamela of customer service saying they were sending me temporary legs today. Why did it take so long for them to come up with a common sense solution? Why didn't the girls at the Arkaden store think on their feet to come up with this solution? It took a young man who worked in a back-end office to come up with idea of 'loan' legs and he delivered them to me later this evening. Kudos to him. Bolia, you owe this young man a big fat raise as he's the reason I'm keeping the sofa.
