Honestly suicidal after dealing with this company every time I top up steels my money left with no electric for hours always takes weeks to get my money back electricity number expires every week and they don’t tell you letting you spend money just to not have electric! Please please please avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The refund cheque has arrived EVENTUALLY
It took two long webchats and finally a phonecall to get a complaint handler to contact me. The good news is that he did a good job, understood the issue, admitted to culpable mistakes, and offered me substantial compensation for being messed around. And the cheque he promised has finally arrived.
Whilst there is joy in heaven over repentance that is genuine - and the large compensation figure (> £100 is a sign they are serious about admitting their error), the fact that they have no forwarding address field on their system as well as the billing address is appalling. Despite being informed of the need to direct the cheque to a different address, it was still sent to the old address. They offer to forward a transcript of webchats; they did so, and were left with nowhere to hide as the webchats demonstrated that I told them the address to send the cheque to TWICE.
Overall... not a company I ever want to have anything to do with ever again; the compensation is a fair return for a LOT of effort. I've got better things to do with my life.

Fantastic support with a payment refund with a third party..
After finding myself in a very stressful situation with an erroneous supplier taking over my gas supply without authority and subsequently charging me for 18 months of energy in error, Jonathan in the OVO energy customer care team was amazing.
Jonathan remained calm throughout, listened to my major concerns and supported me fully in resolving the issue. He instigated a third party call with the erroneous provider and supported me during the call interjecting as required, stating industry standards and the requirement for the third party to refund me fully.
An amazing service and really above and beyond. I can’t thank him enough for helping me to resolve this very stressful issue.
I would highly recommend Jonathan and OVO energy he was fantastic.
