Completely agree with previous review - don’t expect any help when something goes wrong. I understand it is supposed to be the charter companies responsibility once the holiday begins but where is the support when they don’t respond. None whatsoever. Good luck to all you guys who have given a good review for your booking experience. I hope for your sakes you get a better maintained and safer boat than we had the bad luck to book.
Would never use borrowaboat again based on their customer service.
Beware - you have no protection from ABTA as you might expect.

Very service orientated and highly professional, was about to give up but Natalie worked tirelessly to provide a very competitive price and found all our requested Greece charter specs! Service beyond expectation! Looking forward to our 2 weeks sailing in Greece. Thank you so much again!

I recently booked a sailing experience with Borrow A Boat and am pleased to give them a solid 4 stars. Over the years, their service has been reliable and adaptable, especially when dealing with changes in plans or specific requests, like when Federico assisted us back in 2024 with a sailing trip around Elba. Though there were minor maintenance issues with one of the boats, these were the owner's responsibility. For our upcoming 2025 journey, Nicolò was instrumental in securing a yacht fitting our needs and budget, giving invaluable advice on itineraries. The booking experience with agents like Luke Quinn and Eray Ozkan has been seamless, with prompt and professional responses. Even when minor aftersales issues arose, they were resolved swiftly by the team. Overall, Borrow A Boat is a customer-focused service that I look forward to using again.

Just completed the booking process, Adriana, the manager in charge of my booking did her best, easy to communicate with, she understood my needs and concerns and responded quickly and in very friendly manner. She helped me to find the boat for my budget and the booking process was very comfortable.

We chartered a yacht through borrow a boat for our holiday. Borrow a boat provided incorrect information that the boat slept 8 people. Upon arrival we found out that the boat only slept 7 (6 in cabins and 1 on the sofa). Despite many calls and texts borrow a boat were unwillingly to offer any form of solution despite there being another available boat in the marina to hire and asking for compensation.

I had no other option but to sleep on the floor of the yacht for a week. To top it off, the boat regularly leaked on the floor where I was sleeping.

Really disappointed at the lack of the lack of accountability and care of its customers.

I booked our sailing holiday for next Summer with the help of the efficient, professional Nicolo. He offered various Catamaran options based on my wish list and offered a wonderful Itinerary. Always quick to respond to any and all queries I had. I would highly recommend Nicolo.

We've just secured our first boat rental with Borrow a Boat and Vicky has been outstanding.
I received plenty follow up calls and emails, as she was going out of her way to assist with my many requests.

Luke was absolutely amazing with helping us to get the best boat for the best price. We changed our mind to go to Dubrovnik instead of Gran Canaria last minute because of change in weather forecasts and Luke was very helpful with the change in plans.
Had a great sailing holiday and will get in touch again soon to arrange our next trip!
