We were sorry to hear the product could not be used straight out of the box due to insufficient quantities of the bolts needed.

With such a large amount of TVs on the market it is impossible for the bracket manufacturers to keep on top of every combination of bolt sizes and our website does not ask for specific TV models.

Occasionally compatibility issues can occur but not often and our customer service staff are on hand to source and resolve free of charge.

As this review was the first notification of a problem one of our team contact the customer directly and as they had already sourced bolts from elsewhere we have refunded £5 as a goodwill gesture.

Once again, please accept our apologies.

Good site

Easy to order and to find the correct bracket for the TV. Solid and good quality. Not actually attached the TV's yet as waiting for them to come out of storage! Hence only 4 stars for now.

You can find the bracket but you can't use it!

30th Nov 20.
After reading various reviews from people stating the importance of buying the correct wall bracket for a Samsung 32” Q Series LCD TV and a fair number struggling to get them to fit, I visited bracketfinder.co.uk to avoid any problems. I chose the AVF MP200 Cantilever bracket which turned up in good time. My plan was to fit it in my daughter’s house and given work commitments and Covid restrictions I was limited to sorting it early evening on Sunday 13th December.

13th Dec 20.
Without opening the ‘Assorted Screw Pack for All TVs’ (as stated on the website) I could clearly see none of the screws were long enough to attach the bracket on to the back of the TV. With no shops open and unable to find any suitable screws, I ended up using an old bracket which previously held a speaker. It wasn’t ideal but was secure and given my time restrictions, it did the job.

14th Dec 20
Bracketfinder’s website clearly states ‘no fault returns’ will be refunded but “it will be your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk”. I returned the bracket, the cost of postage with tracking was just over £9 with Royal Mail. Given the item wasn’t actually fit for purpose as it was missing screws, I requested my postage be refunded.

17th Dec 20
A reply to my email from ‘Bradley’ advised me to use the screws that should’ve been included with the TV “as they’re unique for the TV”. He offered to post them out despite me making it clear I’d already used another bracket. On the morning of the 18th he emailed saying “Please donate the bracket and we’ll get this fully refunded”. What exactly does that mean…donate? He then followed this up a few hours later saying “I'd recommend contacting the return method you used and ask them to return it to yourself and sell the item on if you wish”. Despite these nonsensical messages, I was refunded the cost of the bracket in full later that day but not the postage.

22nd Dec 20
While I understand whoever Bradley is, he is just a bod trying to do his job, his replies were strange and sometimes meaningless. When I pointed out the bracket wasn’t fit for purpose as it couldn’t do what it was sold to do his reply included the line “We offer collection services if we need to bring something back due to an issue to avoid this issue”. Nowhere on their site does it mention this and it is easy to state this service ‘exists’ after the event.

7th Jan 21
When I asked him why a collection service wasn’t suggested initially he admitted “some TV's do have unique or different mounting requirements that can cause unforeseeable issues. We do our best at trying to provide as much as possible within the box to avoid this”. These guys know the brackets are not what they claim and there is a fair chance parts will be missing. He then emailed stating “We even went above our normal solution to provide a resolution with the least amount of hassle for you by already refunding in full and allowing you to keep the item”.
I didn’t keep the item! I returned it as per the instructions on their website. When I asked for the email of his manager, Bradley predictably confirmed “we don't have a direct email for these”.

13th Jan 21
And then out of nowhere I received an email stating “We are pleased to advise that your return has been received and is being processed by our returns team”. Why? They’ve already refunded the cost of the item that wasn't fit for purpose. Turns out their processes are as good as their products. Hopeless!

In summary, if you’re a fan of dealing with companies who don’t know the meaning of customer service, who sell products akin to buying a Meccano kit at a jumble sale with pieces missing, then mess you around once you’ve spent £9+ returning their sub-standard goods… you’ll love these clowns. Seriously, please avoid them and do yourself a favour. Nobody deserves to deal with people like Bradley or buy goods from companies that sell sub-standard tosh.

Finally, if anyone from bracketfinder chooses to respond to this review, I’ll only take it seriously if it includes offering my postage refund. I have emails to back up everything I have stated above and arguably when read in full they paint a bleaker picture than I’ve stated here.

Reply from Bracket Finder

We were very disappointed to read these comments, it was immediately apparent something was not right and we wanted to fully check all correspondence before responding.

What we found confirmed our initial thoughts. None of your emails advised that you had returned the item until after we had processed the refund.

This puts a different perspective on things and Bradleys responses make sense.

He offered to send additional bolts free of charge.
He give you a full no quibble refund without you needing to return the item.
He advised you could either keep the item or donate it.

When you eventually advised the item had already been sent Bradley suggested you could possibly stop the delivery as you had already been refunded in full and have it returned back to yourself. At no point do the emails advise how you returned the item.

New TV models are released all the time and as such it is impossible for the bracket manufacturers to keep on top of every combination of bolt sizes and our website does not ask for specific model numbers. Occasionally compatibility issues can occur but not often and our customer service staff are on hand to source and resolve free of charge.

It remains unclear when you returned the item as there was no date ever referenced however at no point did we ask you to send anything.

You reference in both email and this review that you followed the "No Fault Returns" policy which clearly says you must cover the cost. We cannot understand why you would do this if you considered the product "not fit for purpose". As Bradley correctly pointed out, we do not request people pay to return faulty items as we have no way of refunding additional money.

Directly underneath "No Fault Returns" is our "Faulty Returns – Dead on Arrival" policy where we advise we will collect faulty items from a persons home. Although you state you read our return policies, in your review comment 22 Dec your claim you were never informed of our collection option and we make it up after the event is not correct.

Both of these return policy sections advise you to contact us first for a returns authorisation number however this was not done. If we had been contacted first as we request this could have been avoided, you would be in receipt of a full refund and a product to donate.

Any return booked in by our warehouse personnel will have an email sent confirming receipt, this is a courteous notification and will occur regardless of whether an item has been refunded or not.

We did not take writing such a reply lightly but concluded it was necessary to defend ourselves and staff as to address us as clowns and suggest nobody deserves to deal with people like Bradley is unjust.

Wall Mount PLB118L Slim line Tilt

We wanted two wider wall mount brackets. One for a stud wall (55" TV) and one for a brick wall (42" TV). Contacted Bracket Finder outlining my requirements and received a reply from Chris. Chris made some suggestion and I purchased 2 x PLB118L Slim line Tilt at a total of £72.98 including delivery.

Wall mounts arrived in two days and contained all the fittings required. Both mounts now fitted and all working well. The wall mounts are slim and it can be difficult to fit cables when the TV is on the wall. Not a criticism of the wall mount, more a heads up for those with big hands.

Good service, good product. Would buy again.

Thank you

Service was good BUT

Service was good BUT, I used your search to find the correct bracket for my tv, and it wasn’t the right one. By the time I found out, when my partner came to fit it, we just had to adapt it. Which involved a hammer 🔨 Not very satisfactory.
