This photographs better than it looks in person. The sides of the egg do not come together evenly. The artwork on the base is cloudy and dark looking. This is far from the standards usually delivered by Bradford Exchange. I purchased this as a keepsake for my infant granddaughter. I had hoped for something that looked as nice as the pictures presented it.
I thought it would have been bigger and thought the inside would spin. It doesn't.

The colors and detail were beautiful. However I was disappointed that the figure did not turn and the music excerpt was short and disconnected. I expected better from Bradford for the price.

The only thing that could have been dead better is that the Clara should be spinning on her perch inside the egg when it's playing and she doesn't she just stands still. What's the point of the magnet you could have just built her and if that was the case.
Great gift
Poor quality. Ballerina is held on with a magnet. She means crooked. Music plays for a second or two, pauses, plays some more and pauses. Plays for only 6 or 7 seconds. I returned it.

I just got another notice from my credit card that you’re charging me again that’s two charges for this egg that we have not received. I think this is a scam! And I will report you to the Better Business Bureau.! and you better credit me the second charge to my credit card!

I was not impressed. The "gems" did not shine. The egg had to manually opened, the figure did not spin and the music was muted and indistinct. When I tried to return it you did not respond to my emails...ignored me. Will not buy from Bradford again..

Wish it was hand painted but looks like stickers! Overall it feels like a sturdy piece!

Character doesn’t turn and doesn’t stay attached to the magnet. Sides of egg open unevenly.

An excellent piece for our collection! However, I was disappointed that the dancer inside the egg does not rotate, but is held stationary via magnets.
Very nice detailed painting. Music could be a little better.

Even though I gave this a 5 star I was disappointed that the figure does not rotate on its own. You have to move the figure by hand. I subsequently exchanged for the box where the figure does rotate while music plays
