Excellent product yes expensive but well worth
it in the long term

I found BrandEcosse by accident and as is so often the way, this was probably Karma!! I ordered the boots I was after and following a swift delivery they were a tad too small. I contacted BrandEcosse and got a response on a Sunday!! The return was organised and the one size bigger pair were winging their way to me the same day. So, whilst the products they sell are of the highest quality, the customer service is second to none and I can not recommend them too highly!!!

Purchased Capriolo.
Beautiful, comfortable & top quality boot.
Have size 8.5- went up to 9 as recommended & perfect.
Ordering was straight forward & delivery was quick.
Carrier used made import straight forward.
Contact with Jane was very pleasant & she was very helpful.
Don't think i'll be ordering again soon as these shoes will probably last a lifetime :-)

Quality products with an impeccable servie and delivery schedule. I would definately recommend this brand to any outdoors people, especially dog walkers.

I got a pair of Cervo Rosso last year and Stambecco this year. The Rosso were comfortable straight out the box had to break in the Stambecco but now very comfortable as well. The quality of the boots is excellent and I would recommend them. The company are great to work with as well. Capriolo next

Ordered a pair of Fagiano's on Monday received on Wednesday. Jane pulled out the stops to ensure I had the boots ahead of a weeks walking in Cornwall. Great build quality and an investment for the future.Definitely recommend.

The Capriolo's were an out of the box delight! Super comfortable from day one plus being a very elegant boot design with red laces. If I have a concern at all its the join between the suede top and rubber base, there is a strain but I'm hoping that that is just the boots shaping to my feet.

I purchased a pair of Capriolos in May, they have now been to the Italian Alps, South Africa and the English countryside. This is an ideal spring/ summer boot or very dry winter. It has good grip on soft/ slightly moist ground and on boulders. If the gravel trail became larger / shape edges you would feel occasional impression on the sole of your foot but provides good ankle support. They are a well made boot, so much so I am thinking of getting a pair of the higher calf style for my more adventures trips and particularly wet/ snowy conditions of winter.

I ordered a pair of Capriolos a few months ago. The delivery was smooth and the packaging appropriate. But the boots, more like sturdy gloves. Very comfortable out of the box. I've worn them quite a bit. They are best suited for 2 - 3 day trips on paths and difficult ground. Not scrambling above grade 1- they work but you have to watch placement to not damage them. These boots are a great utility shoe and waterproof. So for the pub or day hikes with light loads these are ace. Highly recommend. May have to go Elvis and get a blue pair...

Ordered a pair of Fagiano boots after reading a positive review in Shooting times around a year ago. My old boots ( different brand) packed in earlier this year and I ordered these in early April.ordered online and delivery was prompt with size as indicated.Boots are now 3 months old. Perfect fit and extremely comfortable and easy and quick to pop on and off- they improve with age. Use the boots daily for dog walking and training in fields and open countryside. Fully waterproof too having submerged in the river several times when out with the dog. Some slight rubbing in first week but soon past this. Would highly recommend this boot for regular outdoor use of any time - very robust. Cleans up easily too and any marks easily removed with cleaning kit.

It’s a depressing fact that so many UK footwear firms have taken their manufacturing to China and other countries that have no history of boot manufacture and therefore produce a poor product that has no pride in its making. Look at Hunter Boots… once a giant now in liquidation due to shoddy workmanship and corporate greed. So wonderful then to discover Brandecosse a small, Scottish, family business who have teamed up with a master Italian boot craftsman to produce brilliant, stylish and durable leather hiking boots. I have just received a pair of Stambeccos ( translated… Alpine Ibex … goat ) and they are superb. Thick yet supple leather, beautifully stitched and comfortable straight out of the box… but will become more so with gentle breaking in. I’m now in my early 70’s and these will very likely last me till I ascend to the Everest of the heavens. Believe me I have spent a couple of months researching online and going to the shops to find a proper boot and these are the real business. I highly recommend anyone in search of true craftsmanship coupled with a company that has integrity to look no further than Brandecosse and the master leather workers of Italy… you will NOT be disappointed.

Just got my third pair of Capriolo boots. The first pair I wore nearly every day for a year. The others I bought so I could have some spare and for ‘best’. I wear them for long distance walking and just for knocking about in. They are comfy straight out of the box. Waterproof when you need it. And they just stay looking good. If you wear them as much as I do, the price per wear is pretty low. Service is great too. Recommended.

Received my Capriolo Boots a couple of days ago-
Love the Aster colour,as many Women's boots only seem to be produced in Pink or Purple,which are not my colours.
I often find Women's boots too narrow,but these can be adjusted using the lacing.
Very comfortable-toes don't feel trapped,which is an important feature for me.

I wish to sing the praises of Mark and Jane Hughes' Brandecosse. I purchased their Fagiano which, from the word go, proved to be a very comfortable boot. Fagioanos cost about the same as branded Wellingtons but will outlive them by several lifetimes. In addition to economy, they look very smart. Sadly an eyelet came loose and - boot within warranty period still - there was no quibble at all about this. I am a manufacturer myself, so I know that even the best can inadvertently fail to proceed. I asked Jane for the cheaper option of repairing the eyelet (also as my boots are run in). Instead, Jane gave me a brand new pair of shoes. Again these feel comfortable straight away. Fab company, fab boots!

Bought myself a pair of Brontolare boots last year and loved them so much I bought a pair of Fagiano boots for my wife. Beautifully made boots, delivered quickly and without fuss. A gentle breaking in has resulted in boots I could wear all day (and have). With some care they should last a lifetime.

Ordered a pair of boots after a phone call, they arrived next day, less than 24hrs later. They guy I spoke to on the phone was helpful, informative, and gave sensible advice. Great customer service.
The boots (Rubicon) are well made with sturdy outsole that l belive will give many years of service. These are not cheap boots, but they are good quality,that will do the job your buying them for, and will look better with age.
It was a pleasure to deal with this company, and would not hesitate to recommend their product, and service.

Nice quality boot very quick delivery, quality is more utility like a military type boot solid but not really refined as some very high end type artisan makes .
