Glitch

I rarely ever write reviews but I’m fuming that Brewser 2.0 have taken £38 from me for a subscription that I haven’t asked for. I had one for a very short time a few years ago but suddenly they have now decided to restart the subscription. This is theft! Order number #2502

*Following this I have finally managed to get in touch with the company who have promised me a full refund. In fairness they were apologetic and explained it was a glitch in the system. Will delete once I have received the refund.

Restarted subscription without consent

Like others have said. Restarted a long-since cancelled subscription without notice or permission which I will be raising with my bank. I assume this has got to be illegal?

Would have been 5* before the website redesign

I was happy with Brewser until the recent website redesign.

First, I wanted to skip a month due to currently having plenty of beer at home. When I went to the website to do this, I found it was being redesigned. When people's money is on the line, you really shouldn't have downtime for your website. Even a day before my next order was confirmed, the website was still down. I was only able to cancel in time because I kept repeatedly checking.

If there is a problem, good luck solving it, because the website doesn't appear to provide any contact information.

Second, I haven't been thrilled with some of the recent boxes, so I hoped to look through all the breweries and pick a box that might be more to my taste for my next upcoming box after the skipped one. The website now offers barely a dozen breweries to choose from instead of the huge number it had before. If this continues, I won't have much reason to keep the subscription, especially given that most of the breweries that are available are the bigger ones I've already tried anyway, and I'm more interested in trying out beers from new, small breweries. I wondered if this was user error and I was simply missing something on the site, but other commenters here and on Facebook have noted the same thing, so it seems it's not just me.

Good beer, varied choices, but be wary of the new platform until it’s been developed further

A good service at its peak. Decent choice to help you try different breweries. Any issues sorted quickly by customer service (such as accidental billing after a system migration).

Cancelled my subscription over a year…

Cancelled my subscription over a year ago and last night they have restarted my subscription, without my permission or authority and are sending me a box of beer and charging me for it. I fear their new website has reactivated EVERYONES subscription. Really the worst experence. Please cancel Order #2616, as I did not make it and refund any monies taken from my credit card. Also remove all my details from your database.

No communication took money from account cancelling service not easy

Cancelled my subscription a year ago and they have just charged me again. According to the FAQ they can't refund as it will already be sent. Going through the cancellation process again it is deliberately confusing. Companies that is those kind of tactics are con artists. Lame.

Poor chat experience through website 2.0

The beer is good, but the customer service is non existent. The new chat bot ignores you then claims the problem is resolved.

My last order was dispatched with Evri and ended up at the wrong street and postcode (thought they happily took a picture to confirm they are useless) but Evri dont take any responsibility for error, and I can’t get hold of anyone at Brewser.

Edit to say that Brewser called me the second i’d posted this to apologise for the new 2.0 chat which still needs work, and refunded my missing order which has turned around my opinion of their customer service.

Evri are still the worst though.

Brewser 2.0 is terrible

Brewser 2.0 is terrible, the worst website to navigate. Cannot line up breweries months in advance unlike before. Been delivered a brewery that you have sent me before. All in all this is terrible and I will not be using ever again. That is once you delete my account as I am unable to on your site.

Shipping issues are out of out our control, but will always get you a replacement box if a courier losses or damges yours. Just simply reach out on the help widget and we will take care of you. Cracking Beer Sub Company THE BEST IMO

Been a member for a good while now, selection is incredible, amazing deals and some top notch breweries and some little gems on the discovery boxes, have to say he Customer service is second to NONE, never a problem for these guys

Father's day beer box

Father's day beer box! I brought this 2.5 weeks before Father's day with the website stating "delivered in time for Father's day". I hadn't heard anything between the order confirmation email and the Saturday before Father's day which was when I was worried about the delivery so messaged on Instagram as there is no email address available. Still nothing by late Saturday so I found that an Oliver Morgan was one of the owners so also messaged him directly. I've chased both of these contacts with no reply still and so would suggest avoiding the company. The box arrived on Monday afternoon which is all well and good but I felt bad explaining to my dad on the day that I had infact brought him something but that it just hadn't turned up. Such a shame as his birthday is coming up in August and a beer subscription could have been an ideal gift that I could have continued each year (he is a hard person to buy for). I wondered if they have anything to do with Bier company/Bier Nuts as we had a very similar issue with a beer themed Christmas advent calendar from them a few years ago. Bottom line would be to use them with caution from my perspective, maybe the subscriptions are their focus with these one of purchases at the bottom of their attention but ether way a very disappointing experience from supposedly the UKs best.

We arranged for these boxes to be collected from the brewery to ensure they would make it to their destinations on time. I can confirm that your box was collected on time and due to a label re print picked up a delay at the Evri Hub which sadly is out of our control. Your Instagram message to us went into our Request message folder and this is why it was not seen. Having also spoken with Olly he confirms that the message you sent to him also went into his Request folder as you are not connected with each other. As a small team and business, customer service is something we consider to be a top priority. We have a HELP widget on the website which is monitored daily and in most cases we will respond and resolve in the same day. We are sorry that your message got missed, and again that your box arrived a day late.

Excellent beer and service!

I've been a member for a few months now and the monthly craft beers have been really excellent, much better than other beer clubs I've been in in the past. Plus their customer service seems really great too. My last month's delivery never arrived when the shipping company claimed it had, and Ash sorted it out for me quickly without any hassle, and a replacement case was soon on my doorstep.

The Best Beer Subscription Service

I’ve been using Brewser since they got started and absolutely love it. The idea is genius, being able to buy beer from breweries all over the UK through one simple website is a lot of fun and so easy. But beyond that their customer service is exceptional. They really know what it's about.
