Good communication and a fabulous service. We chose Reeves for our move to Devon as we wanted a seamless and professional service. We were not disappointed and they made moving far less stressful. Lee and his team were superb. We would recommend Reeves to friends and family.

My move made easy
The whole team made my move as easy as it could have been, from the initial meeting to the packing up and the delivery. A special shout out and thank you to the team that delivered and got me all set up - they could not have been friendlier, more helpful, or willing to go the extra mile to ensure that everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Thoroughly recommend based on my experience.

Happy Customer, professional service
Happy Customer. We had confidence in the quotation from the Operations Manager and the office staff who were very helpful all the way through. The removal team were thorough and helpful, carefully packing up our household and moving our house contents. No breakages just a professional service from kind people.

This is a big shout out to Britannia!
This is a big shout out to Ben R, Matt L, Tom L, Ben W.
We can’t praise these chaps highly enough. They did our move a week ago and were excellent and professional at all times. They paid care and attention to moving our furniture out and into our new home including some very heavy plant pots. They were polite and respectful at all times. A great team. They worked extremely well together. We would very much recommend Britannia Movers.

I highly recommend Britannia Movers…
I cannot recommend Britannia Movers highly enough. I’ve used their services twice now—first for my international move to the UK in 2024 and again for my recent relocation back to South Africa in 2026. Every step of the way, they have been more than professional; they truly treated me like family.
Moving is exhausting, but the team was always on top of things. They kept me constantly updated on the process and shipping ETAs, so I was never left wondering where my belongings were. When it came to the move itself, they went above and beyond—resealing and repacking many of my items to ensure everything was secure and safe. If you want a team that is proactive, communicative, and genuinely cares about your possessions, look no further. They took the stress out of a very complicated process!"

Should have chosen Pickfords

What a terrible experience, these people (Liverpool branch) moved us from Lancashire to Cheshire.. easy huh ? well no it wasn’t
From the start this removal was absolutely chaotic . Van space was severely underestimated, one small van arrived the day before moving day to take plants and garage, unfortunately most of the plants didn’t make it on that van. Day of moving 2 small vans arrived to take the remainder of our possessions, didn’t take much imagination to realise that all of our stuff wouldn’t fit in the vans, worst of all they seemed to blame us! There was plenty of moaning and recriminations and eventually reached the conclusion they needed another van …. from Liverpool, but someone would have to go get it as there were no drivers available, this meant that one van load of our essential stuff stayed in Liverpool overnight!
There were problems at the destination which meant that some things couldn’t be placed where we wanted them and furniture was left piled up in the living room and dining room, tools were hurled into sheds in heaps and nobody seemed to care about our possessions, many items are scratched or generally misused . Wardrobes and beds were dismantled and rebuilt without much care at the new house
What should have been a 1 or 2 day removal turned into a 3 day move.
Too many more things to mention here.
We complained to the company about the chaos and they said they would send something for our inconvenience , how lovely to receive a half dead bunch of roses and a tiny box of lardy chocolates from M&S !!
My advice would be to avoid this company.

A very professional and efficient company
The Best thing about my experience with Britannia Movers was the correspondence and being kept informed about what was happening with my cargo plus, advice of returning my belongings from Thailand and Papua New Guinea over the last three years.
In particular I'd like to point out Kate Armstrong who was always polite and courteous at all times.
I was always kept up to date about the shipment of my belongings and it's location during the long journey from Port Moresby, via Brisbane and Singapore all the way back here to Cornwall.
Also very helpful were the documents required for Taxation, and Customs that I had no idea I needed.
My packages from Thailand were handled to a storage locker in Truro and then delivered to my home with the least possible fuss thanks to the calm and friendly approach by Nathan Kellow at Lanes.
My belongings from Papua arrived in perfect condition (apart from one broken glass) and delivered at the time indicated to me.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending Britannia Movers for anyone shipping belongings from Overseas to the UK. I found Britannia-Movers to be a highly professional organisation and the people I was in contact with to be friendly courteous and efficient.

We couldn’t keep up with the speed and…
We couldn’t keep up with the speed and efficiency of packing and loading the vans and the reverse on the following day. Even our two bread rolls (meant to be lunch) emerged uncrushed from a box the next day.
Just one small item of furniture has disappeared without trace, an old white bedside unit with drawers which might have been useful but might not have fitted in anywhere.

Wonderful company - highly recommend!
The communication we had from Brittannia Chase throughout the process was seamless and all the people we dealt with from start to finish were responsive and extremely courteous.
Our shipment being transferred from Gloucestershire to the West Coast of Ireland was conducted in a very timely manner and the service received - from the wonderful packing team to the very helpful Irish delivery men at the other end - was faultless.
We are so thankful that we chose Britannia and would not hesitate to use again.

Nothing was too much trouble
Nothing was too much trouble, They managed the move to a second floor flat, without the use of a lift, with ease, confidence and a lot of effort. I could not fault them in any way.

Adaptive to change, delivered on time
I moved from Australia to the UK, and Britannia were very receptive to my changing delivery schedule, which I greatly appreciated. Once I was able to advise a confirmed date, they delivered on time and all my effects were in the same condition as they had been packed in. Correspondence was timely and allowed effective communication between myself and their representative. I would highly recommend Britannia Movers and would use them again.

Shocking Behaviour
Britannia exported my belongings out of the UK to the EU (Germany) without my knowledge or consent, having cancelled a day of packing at the last minute (but did not deduct the cost). They then refused to tell me where my belongings were and threatened to sell them (after they had been paid a £3,700 deposit in advance). After they exported my belongings (which I did not know about) they emailed me to say that they had increased the cost from over £8,000 to over £11,000 (they had done a comprehensive home survey visit in person yet stated that the volume was a huge 50% greater than what they had quoted for). It is not a question of what is damaged, it is more a question of what didn’t they damage after my belongings were literally stuffed like sardines into a van, unsecured and mostly without any protection, with garden tools just thrown loose on top of antiques with no protection at all and left to rub against the furniture during transport, perhaps not surprising as the majority of their crew were school leavers (presumably much cheaper than experienced and suitably qualified men). I am left with a permanent scar from a deep cut on my hand after they literally threw a kitchen knife block with seven extremely sharp knives loose into a box, unsecured, with no wrapping and concealed with all of the other items thrown in the box. AFTER I had paid a further £5,000 under protest (against the advice of my solicitor and whilst having to arrange for another company to retrieve my belongings from Germany to take them to my country of destination), they said “yeah, I do know where your stuff is but I’m not going to tell you.” This was after they claimed that they could not tell me because all of their computers were down - I had challenged him (their Operations Manager) and said that I didn’t believe him and he knew exactly where my belongings were. He also said that he had looked me up on the internet and he viciously taunted me about the closure of my company, saying “you are obviously no good at what you do.” I am left deeply traumatised (feeling like I have paid to be burgled and mentally abused) and am now facing an unpleasant legal battle after they have ignored an email requesting copies of the export declaration documentation that they fraudulently presented to the UK Customs, in order to unlawfully remove my belongings from the UK without my knowledge or agreement. A few days after packing I telephoned to confirm that my belongings were stored in their depot in Godstone, as agreed only five days earlier and recorded via email, and the woman confirmed that this was the case. I now know that she lied as their German sub-contractor has since confirmed by email that they collected my belongings from Britannia Sanderstead’s depot in Godstone and exported them prior to the date of this call. I had previously emailed their director (they are in fact a small family run firm operating under the Britannia ‘members’ scheme - there are numerous replies from ‘Britannia Movers’ here, asking reviewers which branch they are referring to) who replied by email, stating that he “was happy with the way his team were dealing with it”, so the director of the company was fully aware. Their chief problem stemmed from the fact that they were not sufficiently versed in overseas customs (they simply sub-contract without knowing the intricacies themselves). I had been advised that based on my foreign dual citizenship I would not have to pay customs duty. Their operations manager had shouted at me, accusing me of “looking up stuff on the internet” and telling me that I didn’t know what I was doing and “your stuff will be confiscated” - I can’t help but wonder if he would have done any of this to a man. He was wrong as I did not pay customs and I have the documentation to prove it. Clearly it was them who did not know what they were doing. These were not just ‘belongings’, my belongings are my entire life, from photographs of my children and family and keepsakes that have been collected over forty years, to cherished pieces of furniture from my childhood and gifts from those whose memories I cherish who are no longer with us.
Edit:
When this review first appeared, Britannia attempted to get it removed by informing Trustpilot that the review belonged to a different company. I confirmed that it was correct. They now seem to have recovered their memory, although selectively. They state:
"Despite multiple requests, the required documentation had not been received. As a result, the shipment could not be completed in the normal manner".
They are correct that they had no signed contract or instruction to export my belongings. They packed on 27 Aug., exported my belongings on 29 Aug., and told me on 09 Sept.
