They were very helpful, right from the start of my enquiring about having work done to bird-proof my solar panels. I got several quotes and British Bird Control turned out the cheapest, although I would have gone with them even if they had been more expensive. Their information and how they go about their work, along with reviews on other sites persuaded me of this.
I paid a deposit and was told the week the work would be done, but obviously this is weather dependent. Communication was really good, so I knew that they would come on the Tuesday. I was at work that day, but that wasn’t a problem. Unfortunately there was an accident on the road so the guys were held up, and they contacted me to let me know what was going on. When they eventually arrived, they went up on the roof only to discover that my panels are quite unusual. We were quite early adopters so they are reasonably old, so that might be the issue. Anyway, they realised that their usual system wouldn’t work on the size and gaps of my panels. They spent some time trying to work out a different way but to no avail. Sadly this meant that the work wasn’t done.
The company kept me in touch about all of this, including a long phone call the next day to explain the problem and to help me with trying to find another company that might be able to help. My deposit was reimbursed that day too. All this, after they had spent a day on the road and been unable to work, or earn any money from me.
I would absolutely recommend this company.

The bird proofing work was not done correctly, apparently the birds somehow managed to pull it all out and return. Hmm. Nobody ever replied to my requests to put the work right. Waste of money.

Efficient customer service. Friendly, hardworking team who carried out the work. Very pleased with the process from start to finish & would recommend.

From start to completion we have been well informed about the procedure for installing this caging around our solar panels. The two chaps who installed them were efficient and polite and 'just got on with the job'.

Clear communication, responded to changes well as it was fairly dynamic, and the team that turned up to do the job we kind, did it well, and explained everything clearly leaving no mess behind.

I was dubious about this company, but i have to congratulate them on an excellent service and doing exactly what they said they would do and what i wanted them to do.

After some internet comparisons, I asked British Bird Control to install bird-proofing for the solar panels on the roof of our house. The whole experience was very good, from the initial conversations/explanations to the installation (the team was very efficient and willing to explain all related issues), and the billing/payment process. I couldn't have asked for a better service at a very competitive price!

From initial contact, the company kept me informed throughout. The two fitters Gaz and Mace were very friendly and professional and Gaz pointed out exactly what they were doing. Unfortunately they were unable to clear the gutter because it was frozen solid. As soon as the temperature went up a few days later they returned as promised to finish the job. Excellent service.

The team who installed the pigeon proofing on my solar panels were friendly, quick and efficient and left no mess. Also they obviously did a good job, because the next day I spotted several bemused pigeons wandering round and round the panels and peering underneath, trying to figure out why they could no longer get in. Success!

Recent stormy weather delayed things a bit but we were kept appraised and once a date was settled, they came and did a very professional and efficient job in bird proofing our solar panels - excellent value.

They got everything right from initial inquiry through to completion. Their quotation was detailed going into every aspect of the job plus it was far from the highest price of companies bidding for the work. I was kept informed of progress every step of the way. The installation team were friendly and professional as were the rest of the team I had contact with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others or to use them again myself.

Excellent service! Initial contact and subsequent queries promptly dealt with. Kept fully informed regarding appointments for work to be carried out - made difficult because of Storm Babet. The team who came to assess and carry out the work were brilliant. It was me that was terrified!! No more pigeon worries for us!!

Had my solar panels protected on the 5th October 2023. Happy pigeons dont seem able to get under my panels now. Have to say I was expecting my panels to have at least a wipe over whilst the workers were on the roof. Also my gutters are still blocked. During the recent heavy rain water was pouring out of them. Not sure it is blocked gutters or the downpipe. No idea why this company can't offer a full service of thoroughly cleaning the panels and if needed removing the downpipe to unblock it. At 60 I find it difficult to climb ladders but will have to sort out the problem myself or pay to have the work done. I did think for £600, at least my panels would be cleaned. Communication was good. Happy with protection but wish a full service was offered.

This company has been a pleasure to deal with due to issue with pigeons under solar panels, from initial enquiries through to work being completed,everything fully explained, work carried out quickly and everyone I have spoken to has been brilliant, thank you all so much !

A very efficient service, everything was clearly explained to me before booking a date and I was kept informed of progress, the team actually came a week before expected. The bird team were very personable and knowledgeable, and did an excellent job for us.

Waking up to the sound of silence is a perfect start to the day. After months and months of droning feral pigeons from dawn onwards we are so thankful for the 2 young men who leapt about on our roof last Thursday!

From our initial enquiry onwards, the people at British Bird Control have looked after us so well. Everything has been explained in detail, emails have been responded to promptly and phone calls likewise. The 2 man team who did the dirty job were friendly and business-like, again explaining everything before they started and then gave a full report, with photos, before they left.

So: no more noise, feathers, blocked gutters, messy windowsills - not to mention beady eyes staring at us from the rooftop. The cost was more than worth it and we are more than grateful.
