This is our feedback for "Agency" work after the DFY…
This is our feedback after the DFY product and the subsequent Agency engagement.
DFY was organized and the process was straightforward. The questionnaire and checkpoint feedback loop were consistent and effective, no complaints there.
However, the Agency part was deeply disappointing and quite frankly painful:
- Work felt disconnected and fragmented. Deliverables arrived without obvious cohesion or follow-through.
- Clear lack of consistent quality checks. The BB Agency team repeatedly handed us work that had not been internally QA’d before submission.
- Mystery timeline failure. We started a one‑page design, gave them instructions was given the first week of January and we’re nearly in March with it unresolved.
- Not scalable or a fit. We intended to give the Agency more work, but the engagement clearly isn’t a good match. *Even after giving them access to our Staging site to show them the work we requested, is capable...
- Repeated, unresolved issues. It often took 4–6 hours to document problems with screenshots and videos, only to receive updates that left the same issues unaddressed.
- Vague communication. Messages lack clear target dates and concrete next steps.
- Agency posture = order takers, not partners. We expected consulting and guidance of the BB framework capabilities, not just transactional task-taking.
- Value mismatch. In our experience. The hourly rate does not align with the quality of deliverables or the lax time commitments.
- Budget vs. progress. We planned originally a 25–35K initial engagement could have grown to more.... which we've nixed with BudyBoss now. We're still burning through the initial 20‑hour retainer across 5–6 weeks with little to show.
- Operational drag. We’ve had to ramp a new team to pick up the slack and are simply waiting to extract the final deliverables from BB.
- No momentum. The team appears stretched and tapped out; there’s little evidence of forward continuity. Tasks feel heavy and burdensome. Or more convoluted than it needs to be.
In conclusion: We came in looking for an "Agency" partner and are leaving disappointed and disjointed. This is not the level of service or accountability we expected.

I reported an issue with a button being unresponsive, and next thing I new my site had crashed while Buddyboss team was looking into it. After that I have yet to receive an update as to what and why. And I still am not clear why they eliminated plugins from my site without warning to crash it.
They were able to resolve the next week which was nice in bettering my experience.

Problem with login in to our App.
FurQan helped us with the problem we were experiencing with login in to our app. The only thing I would say is that it took quite some tome to fix it (almost a week). Besides that, Furan was great.
