Stuck in Sri Lanka
My partner and I were stuck in Sri Lanka and our flights, booked via a travel agent, were cancelled. We looked at various routes to get home and proceeded with an offer from BudgetAir. The prices were good, as most other operators were increasing their due to supply and demand. Really easy to apply and check in using the app. Absolutely fantastic service and would highly recommend. We also got home! Thank you so much.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible
No phone number to call.
Never respond to emails.
Chat system always busy and can't get through.
Unhelpful.
Flight was cancelled by airline, was never informed.
They put their own contact details on the booking, not mine.
I purchased an extra luggae directly from the airline (wizz air) which I am unable to refund as their details are on the booking.
They refused to update the booking with my contact details and refused to give me the email they used for booking.
Unable to get refund for the extra luggage.
AVOID AT ALL COST
I would give 0 stars if possible.
I was denied boarding due to an incorrect passenger name on the ticket issued by BudgetAir. I called them from the airport 3 hours before my flight, but received no help or solution. There was no support by phone or message, so I had to book a new flight myself at a much higher cost.
They only replied 10 days later, offering a refund of the original ticket but refusing to cover any additional expenses caused by their error, and instead blaming the airline.
Very poor service, no accountability, and extremely frustrating experience. Avoid.
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE REPSONSE - BEWARE TICKET REROUTE/REFUND SCAM
No customer service response. Our outward flight from London to Islamabad via Kuwait on Kuwait Airways is affected by closure of airpsace in the Middle East. We've been trying to contact BudgetAir by contact form and email for 2 weeks about our imminent travel booking, now only 5 days away. The system is not able to field chat or agent repsonses, and email goes into a black hole.
ALSO, BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! There is no customer service contact phone number. but scammers are advertising phone numbers pretending to be for BudgetAir. They will ask for your booking reference and offer you alternative routing at much reduced cost, insisting on payment through Revolut money trasfer app BEFORE a refund of original tickets can be processed. Clearly scammers.
Fake customer service numbers found through online search to beware of are 020 3951 4953 and 020 8038 1040. There may be others.

Customer service
It is near impossible to get though to anyone on the phone and the webchat takes hours to speak to someone
Poor Customer Service
I tried to contact customer service immediately upon payment after noticing an error in the booking. I was put on hold for hours, during which time my tickets were issued. I've lost 150 pounds because they couldn't be bothered to answer my request before issuing the tickets.
Imagine the worst customer service…
Imagine the worst customer service ever, then multiply it by 10. They received money refunded from the airline, but have not paid it back to us for over 2 and a half months – and in that time have given us nothing but runaround and delaying tactics. Their behaviour has been nothing short of irresponsible, unethical, and disgusting.
Our flight in January this year was cancelled due to poor weather. The advice received from Budgetair's live chat agent was to cancel the booking and request a refund which we did. The refund was paid back to Budgetair on 7 Jan 2026, but I haven't seen a penny of this yet – after 2 and a half months of chasing. Then, today, they have asked us to provide the documentation from Easyjet for the refund for the transaction between Easyjet and them to help reconcile their accounts! In other words they have no idea what's in their account and they expect me to provide documentation on their transaction that didn't involve me! Shocking, and simply a delay tactic.
To get home, we then arranged Eurostar tickets ourselves to complete the journey – at significant cost to us – which Easyjet said could be claimed back. However, having acted on Budgetair's advice, we cancelled the flight booking, and in doing so this negated any right to claim alternative travel. Any reasonably trained advisor should have known that cancelling the booking would prevent any compensation claim – so this poor advice cost us over £700. Again, when we try to claim this back from Budgetair due to their poor advice, all I get is the runaround.
On at least 10 different occasions, I've been told that a senior complaints agent would call me back within a certain time – only twice have I ever received this callback.
I've sent receipts through to back up my claim - on at least 7 different occasions they denied that they had received them – EVEN THOUGH 2 OTHER AGENTS HAD CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAD THEM ON FILE.
You get a different agent every time you speak or write to them (even though I have specifically requested a single point of contact) – none of which have any real grasp of the situation. It is clear that they have no intention of returning the money that is rightfully ours for the refund, and they simply don't care.
Avoid this company like the plague. Shocking, horrible and unethical.
There is no way to contact budget air…
There is no way to contact budget air line. The online chat is rubbish. Does not contact you with an agent. There is no phone/mobile number to contact. The email address given does not respond back. My mum needs to travel to uk via middle east and due to the current situation I wanted to enquire about her flight status. But they are least bothered. Worst online agents for booking. Avoid at any cost. I am so regretting booking through them. There is NO customer service available to take your enquiry. No way to Contact them.
Can anyone kindly let me know their contact no please?
