Awful site, tried to cancel a flight which I knew I would lose money on but they didn’t honour the final amount back to me. Shocking

I had a very disappointing experience with BudgetAir.
I booked a return journey from London to Tehran (booking reference: BUK-42187470). My connecting flight from Istanbul to Tehran (VF187 with AJet) was cancelled, which made the entire journey unusable as I can no longer reach my final destination.
I contacted them several times, received no response at all. No assistance, no clarification, and no refund process initiated , just complete silence during a very stressful situation.
This lack of customer support is unacceptable, especially when dealing with flight cancellations and urgent travel issues. I have now been forced to initiate a chargeback through my bank and file formal complaints through Resolver and the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when booking through BudgetAir, as their customer service has been non-existent when it mattered most.

Ignored My Refund Until I Posted a Review – Very Unprofessional Service
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with BudgetAir’s service.
I cancelled my flight and have official confirmation from the airline, yet BudgetAir continues to cancel my refund claim without providing any clear or valid reason. It feels like they are simply holding on to customers’ money with no accountability.
Their customer service is even worse. They do not respond to emails at all, and their live chat is a complete waste of time. I waited 6 hours in the chat queue, only for the session to be cancelled without any proper response. This is absolutely unacceptable.
What is most shocking is their pattern of behavior. They completely ignore customer emails and support requests, but the moment you post a public customer review, they suddenly respond. After I submitted my review, I received a reply within 9 hours.
So clearly, they do have the time and resources to read reviews and respond quickly — but they choose not to respond to customers through official support channels. This is very strange and highly unprofessional.
It seems like the only way to get their attention is to publicly complain, which should never be the case for any legitimate company.
Overall, this has been a terrible experience. No proper communication, no transparency, and no refund despite valid proof.
I strongly advise everyone: please do not use their service.

AVOID BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY
Booked with Budgetair. All seemed ok until I went to check in. A problem occurred when paying to choose seats. Wizzair will no longer let me check in as there is a 'payment pending'. They won't let me make payment as budgetair made the booking and has to be resolved by them. Been waiting for 2 days so far for budgetair to reply to my emails and have spent hours on hold to try and speak to someone to get a resolution. Looks like it's going to cost me nearly £300 to rebook the same flight directly with the airline as budgetair customer service doesn't actually exist. Avoid

Terrible customer service . Bot line with a few generic questions. Keeps telling you there are 30 people in line and they are busy. Never get a human. Waited 45 mins on a number of days . No follow up Won’t use them again. Cancelled our tickets with no reason why.
