Ordered some rubber gorilla buckets ie pails but received tubs instead. Waited 8 days to receive this incorrect order and have written email to the company explaining the situation asking for a refund but have yet to get a response to it. Four days ago I sent the email. Not exactly a prompt response. Just an update that it's now been nearly three weeks and I still have no response. Will write one more email to the company but don't think I will be making 8 phone calls like some of the other reviewers. Don't need the hassle just don't give this company the time of day.

Order 2 internal bi-fold doors. They arrived a day later than planned. Both arrived damaged but the 1 we have used as didn’t notice til after. The other I contacted buildworld to say and a week later I am still negotiating how to get a refund or replacement! Worse company every.

I Placed an order for some decorative mouldings. Never heard anything back on this after a few passed so I called them as to when they were going to deliver. Spoke to a lady who said they were waiting for items to come back into stock but now had the items and would ship in next 2 days. Heard nothing again for two days, so called again. This time spoke to some called Asad who said they did not have any stock and have cancelled the order ! Now I’ve received two emails saying they will refund but guess what , still no refund! I will now go through the credit card company and raise a dispute. It’s truly shocking how businesses these days deal with customers and then expect to do well. Honestly if you’re reading this review and thinking of dealing with this company, all I can tell you is save yourself the bother! Their service really is appalling!

Avoid this company. I'm 250£ out of pocket with a door that is not fit for purpose wrongly described on their website. After ten's of emails they didn't manage to sort a collection in a month!.... Probably the refound will never happen.... So...No No No No!

Worst company ever , don't use ,ordered oak doors with rebate latch ,got the doors fine ,but no eebatch latch ,after telling them constantly, they sent out twice just the keeps ,asked for a refund as I had to go and get one myself so the doors could be fitted ,but would not give a refund
Stay away from them

I bought 5 rubber tyre buckets 4 years ago for around £6 each. Sceptical but proven wrong. I used them everyday and the first one packed up after 4 years work. I called the company to praise them and ask if the buckets were the same, they didn’t know so I held off ordering. A couple of days later, 2 buckets arrive and they are different, nothing like before, no paperwork & in a shoddy box. I was impressed as I thought it was a gift.
Going through old emails, I find that they were not a gift and they had taken £26 from my card. Not impressed. I will not take further action but I certainly won’t use them again.

UPDATE: Took another 20 days of phone calls and emails to finally be refunded. No apology or reason why every call and email was dismissed.

Possibly the worst company I have dealt with.

! was kept fully informed on the progress of the order; not just when something happened but when something was going to happen. Even then I was caught by surprise on delivery day: I barley had time to ask myself who was desperately trying to ring me when there was a knock and man, with a door, at my door. Which was well packaged, by the way, and is now waiting for me (not so promptly) to prepare and hang it.

Ordered 5x bags of self leveller early hours Wednesday 17th August. On Monday 22nd had still not heard back from company with delivery date. After 3 calls to the company during Monday morning i could still not be updated on my order as warehouse hadnt updated customer services. Explained that goods where required asap as fitters had been booked got told it could take up to 48hrs to receive an update.
Dreadful service will never use again

Ordered some doors over the phone. It was quite easy, the person I spoke to was helpful and friendly. Doors arrived in reasonable time with no issues. It all went very smoothly.
