SCAM. A Top-Tier Experience in Being Blocked
Firstly, let me be clear: my experience with BullionNZ comes across as nothing short of a SCAM. I reached out with what I thought was a straightforward request -to purchase a single gram of gold, a modest start for my wee boy as a single mother for Christmas. Instead of receiving communication, assistance, or even the basic courtesy of a reply, I was blocked. Out of the blue. No trade, no explanation, no nothing. That is why I call this exactly what it appears to be: a SCAM.
I would, however, like to sincerely thank BullionNZ for investing the valuable time it must have taken to block me without a single word of communication. Truly, this cemented me into the Top Tier of customers who are dismissed without even the privilege of being acknowledged. It is ALWAYS - and we mean ALWAYS - refreshing to see a company perfect the art of ignoring potential buyers.
From memory, I reached out with a simple, good-faith request, yet from BullionNZ’s perspective, the slickest, most efficient solution was deployed: silence, followed by the block button. No tracking, no transaction, no courtesy - but certainly flawless execution of avoidance.
The communication was exemplary in its absence. The payment? Nonexistent, because of course, the opportunity was denied. And the drama? Oh, there was plenty, but only because BullionNZ ensured there would be by erasing me out of the blue.
What also becomes clear is the company’s apparent ability to cherry-pick which customers are deemed “worthy” of service. High-value buyers are lavished with endless praise, while smaller, genuine customers - the so-called “low drag” type who know exactly what they want - are discarded without hesitation. This selective approach may be dressed up as “slick and efficient,” but in reality it reveals exactly the type of business BullionNZ chooses to run.
So, based on THIS INDIVIDUAL TRANSACTION: there was no gold, no service, no transaction, and no trust. Just one button pressed with remarkable efficiency.
It would, of course, be an ABSOLUTE pleasure never to attempt business here again. Stay safe, keep stacking, and above all, keep blocking - because that seems to be your most polished, professional-grade service.
Do not waste your time with this company. Asides from a scam it is above obviously run by a smug, narcissistic, self important, passive aggressive man who treats customers like an inconvenience …. especially if you’re small time, modest and trying to do the right thing.
