Hired a campervan for the weekend as we had friends staying and need some extra space. Camper was perfect for what we needed. But was quite old and dated. The kitchen equipment looked dirty but thankfully didn't need to use.

We had an amazing experience with Bunk Campers. Their check in/ check out process was simple, they showed us how everything in the camper worked, and were just incredibly helpful. On top of that, the camper was in amazing condition.

Everything was good especially Deepack but the postcode for the branch is incorrect and accordingly difficult to find.

Our first camper experience was wonderfull. When collecting the camper from bunk we were nervous as this was our first time but any questions we had were excellent answered by the amazing Samantha as her communication skills were excellent and made our nerves disappear.
Samantha delivered a perfect show around on how to use all facilities the van had to offer
The van was amazing and plenty of room
We will 100% be using bunk again and can't wait for our next adventure.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day trip.
A few niggles though.
We were advised the need to use Adblue when indicated & if we needed to purchase some to keep the receipt & we'd be reimbursed. Within 24 hrs we needed to top up. Handed the receipt over when we dropped the Motorhome back & didn't receive the refund....30 euro.
Would have been a nice touch to have a supply to take with us along with toilet tablets...again we had to buy our own.
We were unable to use the shower as it was completely useless.
There were no knives & only one glass. Also no sink plug which made it impossible to wash/ wash up.
Again we had to buy these.
Little details which should have been checked before the vehicle was handed over.
Despite the above we had a great holiday & would use Bunk again....next time we'd check everything more thoroughly before leaving the depot.

As sketchy and unhelpful as it gets!
We made a booking for an AV for 4 nights. Picked it up in Dublin and drove on... the AV broke down after 24 hours (!!). We got stuck in a parking lot in Waterford and waited 3 DAYS! before the AV got picked up and we were told multiple times by Bunk Campers, that we had to stay with the vehicle until the pick-up. Because we only had been in the AV for 1 day at this point, we haven't been by a camping site to re-charge or empty the grey tank - we were supposed to go to one the evening of the breakdown (which we had booked and paid for, but were unable to go to). So yeah, we were not able to stay in the AV at this point.
It has been almost two months since we got back from Ireland and still haven't received a refund for the days we were not able to use the vehicle due to the mechanical breakdown.... Or the On-Road Support insurance we purchased, the rent of the camping chairs and table or the chemicals for the toilet. Can't recommend Bunk Campers by ANY means!

We thought we were booking with a campervan company but we booked with GoSee travel who, after i read through the paperwork of what I could expect, took my money, passed me on to BunkCampers in Dublin. Things went wrong from day one. Two lots of bedlinen for 3 persons. Ok fixed. We stowed our suitcases in the vans lockable area but after reaching
first campsite, couldnt open it again. Drove back to Bunk, left it for a day - it was fixed - it had dodgy locking pins. Next oven wasnt working, couldnt be fixed, Reversing camera not working Stop/tail lights not working. We were told to take to auto electrician. We did and they got only one to work at our expense but the other needed parts from a FIAT dealer, Later a previous badly repaired rear bumper started to come apart - we had it fixed at our expense. Just before halfway round Ireland and halfway through our 35 day hire, the diesel engine began to surge and after a few days of that went onto "limp home mode". We contacted the hire company and was told to contact the road side assistance company who told us the breakdown cover and insurance had expired in April. We read instructions in the FIAT manual provided that led us to believe to put in AdBlue into the diesel regarding the symptoms. This didnt help at all. We phoned Bunk Campers and was told to wait with the van until it was collected on a flat bed truck. They couldnt provide another campervan. We waited for a day but decided to keep moving by hiring a car at our expense and use BnB accomodation. A few days later the van was still where we left it in the service station.
Although the list of items we had paid for that didnt exist were not compensated for, second half of our hire not usable, When I returned to Australia after the holiday, I saw that someone allied to Bunk Campers or
GoSee had helped themselves to 3000Euros = $4933.20 Australian Dollars. I think we fell in the crack between both companies. No refund was paid by either. Just make sure that you know who you are dealing with

What a wonderful experience.
Last year I had a not so nice experience with another motorhome rental company in Edinburg.
This time it was a wonderful experience how it can be done with Bunk.
We had booked an Europe 4 person for two people from Wednesday 29 May to Saturday 8 June 2024.
The booking process went smoothly. Online check in was clear.
Location Dublin is close to the airport. Looks a bit outdated.
However, we were very surprised when we were offered a spik spinter new damage-free Adria Matrix 600 SL Axess with a stepless 9-speed automatic transmission. All comfort was provided. Great and easy to drive, especially in mountain landscapes.
We were kindly and professionally helped by Samantha.
Also when returning the motorhome we were received and dealt with smoothly and friendly Deepak.
Recommended.

DO NOT BOOK with this company. There is no 24/7 service and they will make no effort to resolve an issue that comes up and also take whatever extra from the deposit they possibly can. They really are fraudulent as the other reviews said, and I wish I had read these reviews before booking. We paid quite a lot for this motorhome hire (Dublin office) on the impression they had 24/7 roadside service, as outlined all over their website and in booking materials. However, when we had an issue resulting in no heat, hot water, cooking, etc. for two nights with young children in cold Autumn weather - we could not reach anyone until the third day. Funnily enough, they mentioned wanting "good reviews" upon picking up the motorhome at which time the issue was apparent (the lock to the propane door not working properly, which the next day completely broke) yet Owen completely glossed over struggling with the lock and went forward in handing over the vehicle. When calling the 24/7 roadside service line - which is actually a call center, not a direct line to the company, the call center could not get in touch with anyone from the company until the third day. I even emailed eht company on the first night of the issues, but no response until the third day upon which the response was not roadside service - but instructions for us to break the lock to get into the propane area.
We received no response to several emails about this after our hire as we expect to be compensated for the nights we had no heat or cooking, and upon talking to Elizabeth Dickson from the corporate office, she gave me completely inaccurate information as to the communications around this issue that they had recorded, putting the added burdon of proof on us to "prove" we had called them. Clearly they are doing whatever they can to avoid making this right by us - but more dangerously, not showing the level of concern needed for others who may be in a serious situation with a vehicle and unable to access the roadside service. It was very difficult for us having two very cold nights and being unable to cook in the vehicle, but it also could have been worse and the company is showing no care or concern for the safety of their customers in their response. I will happily update this review if anything changes.
FYI - don't trust anything they tell you when picking up the vehicle. They also charged us over 400 euro for a small scrape to the top, left side - clearly caused by a branch - while upon picking up the vehicle it was clearly stated to us that such marks are inevitable on the Irish roads due to the narrowness of roads and trees having low branches and whatnot, and that this is not the type of thing that is charged for. Clearly, there was no accident or collision yet we were charged and also told that we returned it in very dirty condition, which it was not. We kept it as clean as possible, swept out and wiped down surfaces - however with constant rain and whatnot it is inevitable that living in a vehicle for two weeks will result in some dirt that will need to be cleaned before the next customer. That is standard service.
Where do I start? Vehicle kept on going into limp mode after reaching west coast of Eire, replacement motorhome did the same but not so bad but also had a low brake fluid light on. Fault codes indicated. No toilet sanitary pack included.
AA wanted to collect vehicle and leave us without accommodation. Employees promised refunds of a fair amount until we left the country and we then had to fight just to get monies back for our expenses e.g. Garage check and more. Appalling and inconsistent customer service. Eventually obtained €200 refund plus 10% discount off next hire which is absolutely pants and I only agreed because my partner did not want me to take time off attending the Irish courts. Please do NOT use this company, they lie just to get rid of you. Apparently the fault codes for the limp mode was because my shoes occasionally caught the brake when accelerating.
I was originally advised that because Bunk Campers were assessed by Bunk Campers that they were not at fault - no compensation would be paid. What a joke.
Never, ever had this issue with any cars or LGV'S previously driven from other suppliers. I have been driving safely for over 50 years.
The dodgiest outfit I've ever encountered. Paid top dollar, top premium for a 9 day hire - AFTER they swiped my card and got my money, we got the most beat-up vehicle (whole driver side stowed in, mirror hanging off) on the lot - can't reject it, read the T&Cs. Aside from the equipment faults, it didn't last 24 hours before it had to be towed back to Dublin. They took our money - $3kAUD no refund, won't answer emails.
They pressured us into taking a camper with a broken fuel gauge right as they were closing. Once we hit the road, the cabin filled with diesel fumes, making us sick. We called them and they told us it was our fault for over filling the fuel tank, to just keep driving, and the smell would go away. Turns out the fuel tank was leaking. Roadside assistance had to tow the camper due to how unsafe it was. After 2 days of trying to get an answer from the manager, they offered to give us another camper. With little time left on our vacation, we asked for a refund for the rest of the trip and to just pay for the days we used the camper. They refused and we are currently fighting them to get our money back. This company is untrustworthy. Avoid them at all costs.
