I was scheduled to wait over 2 months for an NHS procedure that was essential - the results would hopefully relief worry and facilitate a return to work.
After contacting BUPA I was booked in for an initial review within a week, had the procedure the following week, and positive results fed back at a second appointment the week after.
The consultant neurologist was excellent - taking time to fully review my medical history and provide a clarity that has been sorely missing for months.

I took out Bupa private medical insurance after being told I would be able to access quick next-day GP appointments, which was very important to me as I have two children and NHS GP availability is already very poor.
After signing up and paying for the policy, I contacted Bupa to arrange a GP appointment and was shocked to find the earliest appointment available was in 9 days. That is completely unacceptable for a service being sold as fast-access private healthcare.
I cancelled the policy immediately and requested a refund as I feel I was misled about the level of service being offered.
Very disappointing experience and not worth the money. Would not recommend.

Very easy to claim and they keep you updated about the claim especially with my last claim. Because the invoice was for more than I could claim. They made sure I was aware (I was) of what they would be paying .

I had a medical concern and couldn't get an appointment with my GP as quickly as I wished. So I rang BUPA and arranged an appointment for that day with their GP facility. The doctor could not have been more helpful and I left with a prescription feeling reassured and, 2 weeks later, feeling much better.

Bupa were very helpful with my claim. They could have made it perfect by making the payments to Doctor and hospital . I had to make 2 payments to 2 different places for my treatment. It would have been simpler and less time consuming for me if i paid Bupa one payment.

A great app with a Dr. But denied any server treatment through them. Very disappointed. Symptoms had been slight before joined them and got worse. Not explained before we joined that this is pre existing and would not qualify for treatment.
