Move the goalposts
Great initially but then they don’t seem to like you paying early because once I’d cleared my account (early), they wouldn’t allow me any more credit. They stated it was due to a change in circumstances but my circumstances haven’t changed. Stick with Klarna/Zilch/similar.

All payments on time = credit limit removed
EDIT - contrary to the reply from butter they didn’t reach out to provide any clarification. What actually happened was I raised a complaint, they said yes your account with us has been run well but tough we’re removing your limit anyway. Now in the hands of the FOS
Been using butter for a couple of years with a £1k credit limit. All payments made on time. Cleared balance in last week and out of the blue they’ve reviewed my account and decided to remove my credit limit. Most credit providers reward people who pay on time with credit increases. Butter seem to do the opposite. Emails from them suggest my credit score may have dropped but my credit score is a lot better now than it was two years ago when they were happy to lend me £1k

Good loyal customer equals cancelled account !
I’ve had an account for 2 years, this week it was cancelled with no notice. I’ve always paid on time, most times I paid off early. In fact I paid off my balance this week then the account was removed by them! I’ve never had a high credit with Butter just a few hundred pounds for emergencies, I just don’t understand, this is not the way to treat your loyal and long term customers.

Very very poor app I had a credit limit…
Very very poor app I had a credit limit of 200 great brought what I needed paid on time my repayments except one which was two days late that my fault but I even paid my repayments early went to buy something else with the 200 pound credit I had to be told it’s under review to be told no I have no credit now shocking and to now rub salt in the wounds the last two repayments I made early they took one out so How really does that happen
