The best customer services team ever - any issue I have had is (usually self inflicted) resolved swiftly and in a way it’s easy to understand where I go wrong and how not to have the issue again. I have used butter for most of this…
I have used butter for most of this year and so far the communication has been excellent and I’ve been able to use the app for a large amount of purchases which has really helped this year. However over the last ten days or so the retail side of the app has been taken down without any notice and there is no mention of this until you go to make a payment. I feel like any issue could’ve been sorted by now under any circumstances so I don’t know why it’s still down, it’s clearly more than just upgrades to the card so I’d hope they will be honest about it. If it isn’t back up soon, I’l be looking at another service such as zilch.

No communication
I have been with butter since the awaymo days and have always had a pleasant experience and if I had any issues it would be swiftly resolved with full communication. However I am dissapointed in the lack of communication regarding the retail section of the app. For about a week now its has been down for maintenance and it is only when you want to create a virtual card that you are notified. I imagine more people use this section of the app more than flights and hotels. This could of been handled differently had customers been notified of this maintenance and an eta on when it is back up and running again.

Butter's Customer Service is amazing! I have contacted you guys a couple of times before and your team has always been friendly and supportive. And kudos to William who was very helpful and understanding to my last issue. Due to an unexpected emergency I was forced to make a last minute cancellation on both my flight and hotel. I didn't really expect much and I was prepared to pay any penalties, I just needed help with the cancellation. But William was very empathetic to my situation, and went out of his way to help me. Not only did I get a full refund for the hotel, I also got a whole year to re-book my flight, which I am very grateful for, since this was way more than I expected.
In this time of pandemic when nothing is certain, specially when it comes to travel, a little kindness and empathy really goes a long way. So thank you once again, and keep up the good work! You guys rock!

Butters customer service is absolutely brilliant! I had to contact them with an issue i had and I’ve received nothing but a friendly, personal and warm service. They treat you like a person, and you feel valued! It’s so rare these days to get a company so committed to their customers but Butter have definitely got it right! In the future I’ll be using them as my first option when I use a shopping payment plan, as they have been so helpful and understanding. I can’t thank them enough! A well deserved 5*****

Hannah is amazing and has the patience…
Hannah is amazing and has the patience of a saint. I sent her numerous emails and made several calls in relation to my flight that I had to cancel and re-book due to covid related issues. At no time was I made to feel like I was asking too much, despite all the new quotes that I requested before finally making a decision. Thanks for making it easy Hannah. Customer service at it's best.
