Good price, but not what I paid for
Price and delivery were great.
But in ordering mixed hardwood, I expected the crate to contain nothing but hardwood. I felt duped that a lot of the crate was softwood and very low density. In spite of the good price, I didn’t feel that I got anywhere near what I had paid for.

Dear Simon, thanks for review. Our crates contain only hardwoods, in mixed crates predominantly alder, which is one of the softest hardwood species. When compared to harder species such as oak or ash, alder may appear and behave as a softer material.
On time, and helpfuil delivery
The order arrived on time, and the driver was very accomodating, getting the wood as close as possible to the rack where it will be stored.

Excellent, reliable service. Pallet always left where desired in convenient location. Firewood always of excellent quality. Pallet can be carved up and gives a fine amount of dry wood for kindling. Would highly recommend buyfirewooddirect.
