Day for delivery was supposed to be…
Day for delivery was supposed to be notified and it was not.
Driver turned up, did not knock on door, left goods on front door step near street and did not obtain a signature as required on the packaging and delivery note.
Goods cost me $500.00 and could have easily disappeared without trace if my wife had not seen driver leaving.
I accept that driver can be forgiven for not getting a signature, ringing the door bell would have alerted us to a delivery being made. The conditions of delivery from the carrier were advised that if no-one was available to accept the delivery, a card advising the attempted delivery was unsuccessful and we would have to then collect package from the depot.
How about observing your own rules? If no, why make them?

Thanks for the feedback and sorry that your delivery didn't go as you had hoped. While we request signature on delivery, the Health Department's order supersedes our requests and they can leave it without signature however in a case as such if the item was genuinely stolen then you would be covered by their courier's insurance.
