All the staff at BYD Plymouth were exceptional.
We were getting a Motability car and Charlie looked after us all the way and made it so easy.
He was so incredibly thoughtful, suggesting things they could do so that my disabled son may find it an easier transition.
Very helpful and genuinely caring.

I bought my car from BYD Plymouth a year ago, and I’m still extremely happy with both the vehicle and the service I received. From the very beginning, the sales team was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Jacob made the buying process smooth and stress-free, taking the time to explain everything clearly and ensuring I was confident with my choice.

A year later, the car has been running perfectly, which really shows the quality and reliability of what they offer. The after-sales support has also been excellent, with quick and helpful responses whenever I’ve had a question.

I’m very grateful for the great service and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and customer-focused dealership.

Your Salesman, Charlie Mountain of BYD Plymouth was so helpful telling my Wife & I all we needed to know about the company & the car we bought.
He explained all the car’s computer layout which seemed very complicated but really wasn’t.

We purchased our BYD seal car two weeks ago, tge service from Charlie Ryan and Jacob have been superb could not fault the way they explained all the fine details regarding the car and have contacted us on numerous times to ask how we are getting on with our new car and if we needed to know anything or any concerns to pop in to see them

We came across BYD at a shopping centre and were really impressed with the quality and features, which got us curious about EVs. Visiting the dealership confirmed it for us, Charlie took the time to explain everything clearly, with no pressure at all. He was approachable, answered every question we had, and made the whole process simple. Along with Jacob, he helped us through the sale quickly and smoothly. Picked up our Atto 2 yesterday and absolutely love it. Couldn’t be happier with the service from both of them!

Went in to BYD to test drive the BYD Dolphin and was very impressed with the performance.Jacob and Charlie were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the process and product.Made to feel very welcome with coffee and told to come back anytime you have a query.

My wife and I had a test drive on a BYD Dolphin and after talking to the salesman Mitchell Baggott, we decided to trade in our Honda Jazz for the Dolphin Surf Active. Mitch was very helpful and answered all of my questions which I could think of at the time.
We had agreed to complete the handover on 27 June, unfortunately my new car was not ready, therefore I was given the demonstration car Dolphin surf boost to use for a week.
The specifications for the Boost is different to the Active, I had difficulty in finding the difference in the downloaded manual for the two cars. This is not the fault of the salesmen but of BYD for not producing a separate manual for each car.
I did realise the active didn’t have 360 degree cameras or heated seats, but some attributes were unclear, I found the forward cameras very helpful but not included on the Active, but my biggest bugbear was that the side mirrors did not fold back at all.
I have been driving since 1976 and in my experience the most vulnerable part of a car is the wing mirrors.
Just one other complaint, my wife had difficulty in engaging her seat belt despite only weighing 10 stone, therefore I have bought an extension to the lock.
However I have found the car a delight to drive and would highly recommend it to anyone considering an electric vehicle. Thankyou to Mitch for behing so helpful and doing an excellent job.

I live in London and visited a local dealer to test drive the Atto. Being an EV user for the last 7-8 years, they all pretty much do what they say on the can. Like many other BYD dealers, BYD South West was offering one of their demo models for almost £10k less and was the cheapest from all dealers with a similar spec model.

I ordered my car over the phone with Ryan and placed a deposit, with a to be confirmed delivery date.

Excellent service from both Ryan & Jacob except, I sent 3-4 emails and 3-6 phone calls to try and confirm delivery. To no avail, no email or return phone call It was a Friday eta and I was leaving for a wedding in Venice on Saturday, so was quite anxious to confirm delivery and organise payment.

However, Ryan did as a courtesy take off the delivery fee and Jacob sent the car on the promised date, even though, payment went through the following day.

Thank you guys, my son loves the car, and hopefully, I can get down to the dealership and put faces to names.

When we first visited for our test drive, we were greeted by Jacob who was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about BYD. On our second test drive, Mitch also shared that passion and ensured he answered all our questions thoroughly. When we finally decided that the BYD ATTO 3 was for us, Ryan also stepped in and supported to save us having to wait. We also received a friendly service from the lady welcoming us into the building.
All round great team and loving the car.

I popped in to BYD a short while after being treated poorly at a competitor dealership and the difference was clear. From initial welcome to Mitch helping me load my golf clubs and trolley into the boot (mega important that they fit) the service was right. From then to collection the communications were good and when Mitch said 'any questions, just ask' he meant it. He set some of the car up for me when I collected it (Bluetooth to mobile), explained about charger seeking apps etc. One of the guys even helped me swap number plates in the car park a week later. Terrific service all round.
