UPDATE: Although it was a long process of frustration since the beginning of the year- they reached out and solved the situation- and I have to say that this time were not nice mails but actions. This I of course appreciate.
I guess more clarity in communication will avoid these situations in the past
Last month I have been considering on and off to decide if is really worth it to have this subscription after issues with unuseful or double products or not getting my package.
Mistakes can happen but this month was the cherry on the cake: I got two boxes and charged for two boxes when I am subscribed for one ( second with products have doubles and can't get rid of anyway- like the mega "popular" gold 10in1 hairspray).
I decided to write and see what happened - but they came up with a story where there is a payment from February (Which they tried to charge double also! but didn't had sufficient funds). But if that would have been thee case why the second box after one week? No answer or responsibility taken. Today I am glad I didn't gave my main card and use a Revolut card for this company ! It's a pity of the concept which I think is really good.

Both my August and September boxes were sent by DAO to my old address. I contacted Goodiebox' customer support and they handled the issue so well! They even sent me an extra box for the trouble! 💯

I am a member for the past 5 months. Despite all the bad reviews I said i was going to give it a try. So far i have been very happy with my boxes and the limited edition boxes i ordered separately, until today. This morning I received the box for August and when opening it, I found that one of the products was already open and half empty( i have previously received the product and i know it should come sealed)… i really do not like that and feel quite disappointed. I was talking about goodiebox to all of my friends, supporting and recommending it but i will not do that anymore…

I ordered a special box in February, but haven't received it yet. I haven't got my money back either. Customer service does not respond to my dozens of contact attempts. I have had to ask for legal advice, I am unsure if I'll ever get my money back.

I am a faithful customer for years and I have recommended many new customers in a couple of countries over this period. They used to be the best on the market, best product value, and amazing customer service. During the past couple of months, it looks like they can't handle growth.
They have often delays with no communication. Their website works poorly. They handle deliveries poorly (my advent calendar I got in early February with no real reason, after countless emails). Contact with customer service is impossible (their response time is very long if I am lucky enough to receive any). Their email newsletter sells aggressively. And I think most importantly - the classic subscription box is just boring. The products are repeated very often and in general, they are very mediocre. Considering it's a subscription service, I would expect more.
To sum this up, I love the concept and I feel a lot of nostalgic sympathy. But there are other, better similar concepts on the market now, sadly.

I am very disappointed with the service.
I wrote to you on February 14 that I can not access my account to pause my box.
As a result, I received a response from you on March 8 that you did not find my email. I later found accesses, but there was a typo in the email in the domain name of the mail, if you tried to search, could you find it?
I was never able to unsubscribe in advance, and you were charged, I sent you a screenshot with an invoice so that you can manually cancel before sending on March 9th.
And received an auto-reply on March 21st. Is it hard to read? why don't you read what the client writes?
I am very upset, and I know for sure that I will not want to return to you again, and I do not advise anyone to use your services, the filling is very cheap, the service is bad, but the box looks very beautiful.

I bought my first Goodiebox at 09/01/23 CAN YOU BELIEVE???Now is 06/03/23 and I didn´t get the Goodiebox even thought my money back.
I was waiting for my first Goodiebox for more than two weeks. I decided to cancel my subscription after 3 weeks waiting, because I didn´t want be charged more times, because I started to try to contact Goodiebox without success.. At 10/02/23 I received a message from the logistics company saying that they couldn´t delivery my box which was lost.
I´ve been trying to contact Goodiebox, asking for my money back, by phone, by e-mail and it is impossible to solve it. I wrote to customer service many times. They replied but they reply late and they didn´t offer any solutions for what I asked for.
One of their replies were saying that the doesn´t have the exactly box I had chosed and offering to send a new box, but it wasn´t what I want, I want my money back.
I am felling so stupid waiting so long to get any soluction from Goodiebox…bad costumer service… I thought I was going to buy from a trusty company, but GUESS…

08/03/2023 - I am still waiting to receive my money back...

I received 3 boxes within 6 weeks and the first one received there was one product missing. I keep writing to them but absolutely now reply. I still miss a product in the welcome box.

UPDATE: I am updating my review from 2 to 3 stars because of Goodiebox’ efforts to make it right. After my review they reached out to me personally to apologise for the delay and any inconvenience. A few days later I received my welcome box and the one for the current month. The girl I spoke with was very nice and I really appreciated the gesture.
Why not 5 stars? Even tho I was planning to change my review to at least 4 stars I realised I was charged twice this month. 🤦♀️
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am a long-time customer of Goodiebox, I love the concept, and I've always been very happy with the service they provided. About half a year ago I decided to take a break from it as I have accumulated a lot of similar products and I needed to take some time to use them. Somewhere around mid-January, I decided to subscribe back, especially because the products in the welcome box were very nice. I received an email the second day saying that the box was going to be sent out within the next 2 days however a week and a half later the box had not arrived. I used their live chat (or at least used to be a live chat) to get in touch with them but apparently, it is no different from sending an email as it creates an inquiry of your message. Even though they state that they will get back to you within 2 days, 5 days later I get an email from them which wasn't even a reply to my inquiry but rather a notification that the welcome box I ordered was sold out and a different one had been sent instead - I decided to not make a big deal out of it though I was quite annoyed
It has now been a month since I ordered the welcome box, and still haven't received it. At least they finally reply to my inquiry from 2 and a half weeks ago saying that their warehouse has some issues with packing my order and asking me to confirm my address. I found it very strange since they had already stated in the previous (notification) email that the box had been sent out.
On top of that, I was charged for a second box, even though the first one was never sent. I don't know what's happened but the overall user experience has dropped significantly. Also not to mention that it is very frustrating being bombarded with marketing emails when the only thing you're looking for is a reply to your inquiry. Quite disappointed with my recent experience. I really hope Goodiebox will address these issues in the near future.
